- Frankenstein is alive! This Simulator has a belt tension System with 80kg force to simulate Positive Gs (unfortunately not visible in this video). Even in a loop the Pilot is pressed into the Seat! Further the vertical acceleration (surge) of max. 0.9 G is simulated with OnSet Cueing (pitch up/down). Drift or Sway is done by rolling a little left and right. Together with HTC Vive VR Headset the whole thing feels extremly realistic.

Thanks! Reason for dislikes are:
1. Many people don't understand what VR means and complain about the halfscreen-mini-monitor (i'm not joking)
2. Many people don't understand what a Belt Tension System doas and therefore think that the this simulator is unrealistic because it generates wrong Gs and cues.
Your enemies in a multiplayer dogfight after they're going down one by one: "he must have a nice gaming chair".
hehe, this is a much harder way to fly, so in competition this is a kind of handicap
the whole place puked all over after an intense dogfight :D
Indeed you'll win no scramble in this biest. The forces are so intense - they took my focus and breath in a few minutes. But sickness is no problem - really!
Any fight you have in this, will be a win in terms of excitement and thrill.

Not really, because he's simulating negative Gs when the rig is upside down, and the plane is pulling positive Gs.
There's more to simulators than just mimicking the movements the plane makes, if you want realism.
This ain't realism, however cool it may be.

Indeed, doing 360 deg in vr was one of the most difficult issues. There is a software called open vr emulator doing this job just perfect!

I am sure this is quite safe, but I would have overbearing anxiety of a snapping noise and my neck being crushed on the floor as it goes inverted.
That's what the music is for.
Dont be afraid loud music will prevent you from hearing that noise and the pain would be temporary, and will quickly disappear.

Yes you say it! I'm dreaming already of adding a 6dof...big effort never then less!! Buttkicker (iBeam) is allready installed (perfect tactil input with x-sim)

Somebody finally did it. I had ideas for something like this way back in 2000/2002. I couldn't get anywhere with it. The concept was too big in scope for materials, math/scoence behind it, and the technology was there, but not at a whopping price tag. And today, it's in a garage. Kudos!

I'm surprised that the VR tracking stations still work so well in this condition.
Yes...it is really perfect with 3 lighthouse stations, even while doing a loop or Split-S. There a some mirror surfaces and windows...dosn't matter.

I folow those sims for 15 Years. 6 Companys started to make and sell them but all of them discontinued cause nobody wanted or could aford it.
