Baja: Edge of Control HD - Trophy Truck - Open Class

I know others are having issues with this race so I just wanted to post the video I was able to get the win.
It still took quite a bit of time and I used 2 trucks to finally get a setting I felt I could win. Its still going to take quite of bit of luck mostly because the 2 racers in 1st and 2nd need to make mistakes to slow down enough for you to catch up.
In this video at 1:30 you can see 1st place on the map is way father back than he usually is. Usually he'd be around the next 2 turns by now so if you see 1st place in this spot then you have a really good chance in passing him. If not then there's a high chance you wont catch him unless he messes up down the way but still a chance.
The truck I used was the Geiser Bros Truck 03. I upgraded everything to max with the exception of the brakes and suspension. You don't really need brakes so there's no need to upgrade them. When I do it causes the truck to turn awkwardly when you tap them. The suspension however you do need to purchase at least the first set, the 3.0. If you don't your trucks oil will overheat and slow you down before the finish line. But it also doesn't bounce your truck as much when you land so you can still keep control. I did NO tuning so this is the base settings after purchasing the upgrades.
Plus this truck has much better stability, the other truck I was using wanted to flip over every chance it had during a turn.

I am astonished at this because when I get towards the end of the 2nd and final lap, the game cuts my rpm`s and will not let me pass anyone and will not let me get better than 4th place :(
