I have never interviewed with a hotel chain like Marriott ever. I was surprised to get a call. for a Zoom interview. Little things like this, acknowledge that I am on the right track. Thanks for this video, I pray I get a second interview and a offer for enployment.
@@scoom79 I did not unfortunately, I was an experience, they would not reimburse me for the travel. Maybe it is for the best. Thanks for the acknowledgement.
here’s a question for you. What does Marriott do when an employee that had worked with them for 11 years finally gets to take a vacation and while they’re on vacation, they would not put my husband back on a work schedule. After we return home, he went to his work and he still had not been scheduled to work. They told him we will do it next week so the following week he goes, and they still had not put him on the schedule, they gave no reason as to why they would not do so. Also, they lied and told the unemployment bureau that he had gone on vacation to West Virginia to see his sister. Well guess what? He never had a sister! I have inquired before and no one can give an answer as to why they let him go! He worked faithfully for 11 years and this is how you treat him? SHAME ON YOU!
This is 2 months late but never use the words “don’t have experience” in a sentence, try to avoid any negative statements whatsoever. If they say “what experience do you have?” or something like that, tell them any customer service experience you have, or if you have none, tell them about how you’re a people person, and know how to work with people, deal with people, etc. Basically just sell that you can handle customers without ever stating that you don’t have experience, unless they explicitly ask of course
