Hey Saul, thanks for this lesson! Could you have installed IFP plates on your old Solomon skis, and then simply slid the new Fischer bindings on the skis you want to use?

Yes you can! I preferred not to plug and re-drill the old binding holes.

@@velotiqueBetterWatchSaul Ah, different hole patterns! Well I'm switching out all my SNS skis too, so at least I can save a little with plates instead of bindings. Thanks!!

What is the track system called that you used to mount your bindings to the new skis? Also is there a compatible 75mm 3 pin binding?

The current track system that Fischer Skis uses is called IFP. Other companies and older Fisher skis used the Rottefella NIS track. I am unaware of a compatible system for 3 Pin bindings.

Hi Saul, thanks for the great video. I currently have NNN bindings, but just bought new SNS boots. Is ok to drill new holes for the SNS and full the old holes with resin for example, or would having all these holes change the properties/robustness of the skis too much (Salomon Equipe RC classic skis)?

Drill new holes and fill old holes with plugs and glue to keep out moisture. The binding area of skis is reinforced to support binding stress. One extra set of hole will not effect performance.
