Still one of my favorite vids from Robben & friends. Robben lays down the motif, grooves on the 2 & 4 beats, embellishing with cool chord voicings, then amazes with deceivingly complex and musical lead phrases that are all spot on that mysterious timing "pocket" we all try to emulate. Probably sounds like a bunch of guitar geek speak, and probably is. But hopefully makes sense to some of the musicians out there!
It’s good to see robben again I got to play a couple of blues tunes with him & Eric burton, & papa john creach when he was backing Jimmy Witherspoon, we played that’s all right by little junior parker, amazing jam
Fantastic. Hey, does anyone know what cab and speakers Jeff has parked under his Marshall? Love it when these classic songs performed with so much emotion.
I'm surprised Robben didn't get the timing right. I listened because I want to do this one live and it's a hard one. I figured he'd nail the timing, but he doesn't.
The blue moon version has that timing your talking about..... It's usually different in some way when performing live.... Unless you are Warren Haynes 😁 Robben is amazing and I really appreciate the whole "blue moon" Album.....speaks directly to me personally
Complimenti Maria, non ho potuto fare a meno di ascoltare tutto il brano brano, bravissima!🤟👍
Robben is one of the coolest & skilled blues artists of our generation. We're so blessed to have him!

Nice to see Jeff McErlain on this song, I really enjoy his playing and his tone is always great. Two outstanding guitarists.

Great cover of this song!
you're outclassed, jeff
yeah and my dick's bigger than yours! C'mon man! Robin is a master and outclasses most like Larry Carlton! You don't think Jeff knows that!
Master!
Jeden z najlepszych utworów Forda 😊 . Ale po co ten drugi gitarzysta ? I tak gra nutyka w nutkę Forda 😊 . Przepiękny kawałek !
Great guitar stuff, but who is that awesome drummer?????
+Dave Parsons That would be Mr. Hari Ganglberger.
Thanks!
He is great!
Good version, check out Los Lobos cover .. They play a funky funky version.
smoking
The drummer could fill some space by going to the ride cymbal during the guitar solos.

Clean your ears out. Robben has incredible time .... One of the greatest players in history...especially in that dimension

Notice the difference in tones - chalk and cheese
weird seeing robbens dumble on its side
m00nchildblues Funny. I was looking at it and knew it looked different. Ha!
Robbin your guitar was to loud in the mix and the other guitar player was a little to low.
Jeff learned 90% of what he knows from Robben (and being his "teaching assistant" at camps like this...
