You are such an inspiration 🙌🏼 I have been watching your videos for a few months now. I wish to one day get over this damn fear of traveling to a strange place with my daughter bc I want to see the world lol Saludos from Las Vegas 👋🏼😊
How was the train with Luna? We're heading to Thailand for our first stop on our full time travel journey with our son, (he's almost 3), and we've been talking a lot about taking the train. :)
we can say please thank you welcome hi bye and all that - same as any country we spend a month in. wish we could have conversed more with people - a few phrases doesn't do enough
omg no. the amount that they give single mom's in Canada without a partner is $658 - which wouldn't even cover daycare there. I work. I work full time. I work three jobs. Nobody takes care of me at all. I'm not rich, and Luna's bio dad (who is rich) has never helped us. I own and operate a national marketing business that I built in my 20s in Canada and automated in my 30s.
Travel Mama Anna Von I hope I didn’t sound rude (I probably did...my apologies) I think you are a Fantastic Mama living your life to the fullest! Peace & ❤️
no not at all. I might be a bit sensitive because a lot of people have sort of hurled at me in comments that I must have a rich ex husband or rich family or be supported for an outside source in some way - it's usually men, and it's clear that it's hard for some people to believe that a woman can be a single mom, working, and happy. the image of a poor, desperate, single mom on welfare is the predominant single parent image in the world even though 50% of the parenting population are single people (mostly women) doing it alone. Obviously there are poor and rich, working and not, tall, fat, thin, black white, gay, straight and everything in between - but the stigma really has followed me. Also, I LOVE telling people how little the Canadian government helps single moms. hahahahaa. We are mexican now anyway, so any "help" from Canada is loooooong gone.
oh we found truckloads of plastic - there's lots of it all over thee world. you don['t have to try to find it for sure. I did an experiment on the way home from asia where we used our cutlery and metal straw on all the flights and in the airports - declining all glassware on planes for our reusable. I think I saved a small bag of garbage in the cutlery alone. in 3 flights. plus, metal is so much nicer to eat off. it was great.
l have to throw in my 2 cents ( its in line w the "welfare" mom.) Anna, you hold your head HIGH! "That little mama dont need her "BABY-DADDY" at all." As for his background being "rich?" (good for him) because as a father? Big time, poor! "Mamacita" dont lack a thing! she has so much attention, articulate, independant, eats alone with a spoon, is self determined but more important is joyful. Anna, lm so addicted to that little girl ( lm starting to think l got issues?😆) No, actually she's a treat to watch. BUT IM ADDICTED! Bye, bye BEBE.
Can you imagine being seated on a plane, train or boat next to these two? My god, the constant whining and screaming........disturbing the ambience wherever they go.
sounds like our experience next to hung over 20-something backpackers, who were loud, entitled, pushing, whiny and rude. We got on the train at 8:30PM and most people were eating. Luna was asleep by 9. And in the morning, we had lovely chats with everyone around. If you think of kids as burdens, then I really feel sorry for you - you're missing out on the whole point of life.

Hi Anna & Luna!
Do you receive a monthly stipend from the Canadian government that makes your traveling possible?

If Lina likes animals, there are a few cafes that have dogs you can sit with and fuss, probably not, but sorta my thing lol
Luna luna 😍😍
Are you going to get a sak yant while you're there ?
We didn't get a chance to go. Should I add it to our list?

Would you rather live in Thailand ?

Just stay at Home and be a mother... Your self finding Hipster backpack-adventure with a toddler is unheard of
oh man. It really bothers you to see a woman just living and enjoying her life with her kid hunh?
Since when is it any of your business how someone lives her life? I feel sorry for your neighbours.
