this is a really good idea if you're laying down tile for the first time too! you could totally get the cheapest tile you can find and then paint it, to make it look expensive. I love this!

I think you did an amazing job. It doesn't matter what colors you chose, it's your floor. I don't understand why everyone has to be so negative anymore. I understand that everyone has an opinion but your were teaching a technique and I give you 10 stars for the technique. It was awesome, and perhaps I shall try something like that in my craft room!!! I think it would be awesome smack in the middle of the floor!!! To each his own, I always say, now if everyone could go with that little saying, there would be less negativity in the world. Im sure I will get lots of negative comments replying to this stating how they just expressed their opinion, so did I. Just mine wasn't negative. Again...…you did a great job and thanks for the demo, now I think I could do it!!!

Oh, my gosh, I'm in awe! This is so gorgeous! And it gives me hope for a small toilet area in my master bath with floor tile that I hate. However, the floors in the bathroom are heated and I'll have to be sure the finish is waterproof as well. But I'm going to give it a try. Thanks for another great video!

That advice of using less paint on the stencil is also important. The worst is you have too much paint and have it screw up the stencil work. The paint can find its way underneath the stencil...... This is great because I have a similar old color I want to change it to what you did. 👍🏼👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼

It would take a professional to move it. Her trying to move it would risk her safety. The stove, roof, and tile could also be broken in the process. Just smarter to paint around it especially if you’re on a budget.

It looks beautiful. I'm also laughing because you said, "not only expensive but time consuming." Then you proceed to do something equally as time consuming if not more. lol anyways....it did turn out amazing! Great job!

Haha, thanks! Yeah, this was time consuming but definitely a whole lot cheaper and easier than ripping out the tile and re-tiling! 😊

SO glad I found this video! Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! I've been planning to do this but can't find a size of stencil to work. My porcelain tiles are 7 3/4 X 7 5/8. What size are your and what size stencil did you use?

Thank you! My tiles and stencil were 12" x 12".
