Hahaha. Every sub from your channel is here mustie :-) so we are very interested on how is yours is going to turn out will it have knives, forks and coins like the think twice bike ;-)
I was going to comment on mustie1 channel and tell him to watch this video. This is a nice restoration. I hope mustie makes it look as good as this one. Cheers
After seeing Mustie pick one of these up, I've gotten a little curious about the folded state. Is the intention to carry it folded by the strap, or are you intended to leave the rear wheel down and sort of "roll" it to its destination?
That is so cool! I suspect nowadays it is not street legal, no turn signals...curious....top speed? That would be great to have when RVing as a second mode of transportation!
Why don't they have any modernized verison of that scooter at this day? Seems like a good scooter for everyone to be able to get from a quick and easy point A to B if was going to someone close by or maybe grabbing a few things from shopping
Where did you find this thing? I only have a vague recall of this scooter being advertised. Years ago I used to own a Cessna 175. Yeah, there was such a model. With the rear seat removed, this scooter would be great to carry around. I usually carried two 10 speed bikes, with the front wheels removed, and camp gear in the back and with quick release doors to get all the gear inside.
Trent Dabs if those scooters were easier to find I would get a crashed Revel scooter and use its engine and battery pack. Vintage look with modern tech
Who got this video in their suggested feed after seeing Mustie1 working on one of these that was given to him ?
Moi!
Yep. Hopefully Mustie will restore it to its insanely under-powered glory!
Yup
They’re watching us!
Me too ;-)
MUSTIE1 just did a video on bringing one of these back to life You are probably going to get some views !
Yeah, I just came from there. Interesting isn't it Ted.
@@Dave-ty2qp Mustie sent me too
Well. Mustie1 sent me to 😂. what a coincident. 🤪
Yup, I just had to see this thing in all its glory. Seems much more useful and practical than Sinclair's C5 battery/pedal car from the 1980s
We were wondering why this 9 year old video is suddenly getting views and comments! We should probably thank him.
l get the strange feeling my name has popped up,
Can't wait to see yours completed!
Hahaha. Every sub from your channel is here mustie :-) so we are very interested on how is yours is going to turn out will it have knives, forks and coins like the think twice bike ;-)

lol same.
...and answers some of Mustie's speculative questions (e.g. did it have a headlight)... Nice to see what it looked like in like-new action.
Looks like @Mustie1 brought an old scooter and a old video to life! Thanks for being available @The Moto Channel 😎
Mustie would love to see this. Just today I finished watching him work on this.
What a Brilliant idea, Never seen one of those before.
Add this to the list of things I didn't know existed until yesterday.
Yep,from Mustie1 also.

Pretty cool..the suitcase scooter. I've heard of these just haven't seen one. I wouldn't mind having one for the fun of it.
Holy crap that looks like more fun than my gsxr hahaha. I love it.
Found this after watching Mustie. I can see why this item wasn't around for long. Interesting.
Mustie sent me. I wonder if there are others. ;)
Anyone send Musti 1 an address for this clip, I see he remounted the pull start off by 90 degrees...thanks for the clip. Have a nice day....
Damn RUclips knows when we look at Mustie1 projects because of this video suggestion.
Chouette machine fréro!!!
It has a gadget appeal... Very interesting. Love it!
Glad you liked the video darren oh! Thanks for watching The Moto Channel and please remember to subscribe.
This shows up in my feed after Mustys video. RUclips did something right? Cool scooter 👍
Hello, I'm from Russia. I like it very much, thanks for posting this video. I'd like to build something like that myself probably.
After seeing Mustie pick one of these up, I've gotten a little curious about the folded state. Is the intention to carry it folded by the strap, or are you intended to leave the rear wheel down and sort of "roll" it to its destination?
The rear wheel folds into the box and you carry it by the strap like a suitcase. Great question!
@@themotochannel Ah, Okay. Thanks for the clarification!
I was curious if the pilots rode them around inside the airport, like indoors?
@@themotochannel So how heavy is this thing?
That is so cool! I suspect nowadays it is not street legal, no turn signals...curious....top speed? That would be great to have when RVing as a second mode of transportation!
A little piece of genius!
Why don't they have any modernized verison of that scooter at this day? Seems like a good scooter for everyone to be able to get from a quick and easy point A to B if was going to someone close by or maybe grabbing a few things from shopping
Fantastic but does it come with ear plugs and headache tablets . I want one how much $ are these as I’ve never seen one before I love it
Was just about to put Mustie1 has got one of these but I see I did not need to LOL
‘This is how the pilot carries it through the airport’.......yeah, who is he? Arnie?

Cool vehicle Mustie sent me
Cool Toy....I Like it
Just sent this to mustie 1. Neat to see what they looked like.
Spiritual successor to the Honda motocompo.
Fuel mixture to lean or rich? What do you guys think? :)
Awesome!
I can just about see that front end support bar collapsing and goodbye legs and hello grated beef face
Te amo hombre.
For anyone unaware it should have a 49cc Clinton Panther 2 stroke in it if the engine is original. Mustie goes into that further in his video.
insane bm... luv it
2:03 the important step there was "adjust the shades"!
Carry on inspired by James Bond Maybe Mustie can convert that explosive gas tank into a secret weapon
Is there a more recent bike like this?
how fast can it go?
We're can you get parts for them
where did you get those socks? I need those socks
That is cool!
I thought you could wheel the scooter through the airport using the back wheel and handle? 90lbs is a lot to carry.
like Mustie1 said they were manly men
I would think at the time these came out, a pilot could just drive it right from the plane. Around the terminal onto the street :P
Was it registered to drive on the roads worldwide

it weighs like 80 lbs, so idk if you'd like that.
Where do I get one
Mustie1 sent me here too:) Don
hi i like the 1960 centaur i;m wondering if u bought it there and if yes can u name the place you bought it from???
The best
Imagine presenting yourself at the security checkpoint of any airport today with that kind of luggage...
Suitcase scooter...👍,this is only the second one I have seen...
Awwww so cool
Awesome
This could be made today and small like Hot Cakes
With some upgrades of course i.e Electric motor and lithium battery 😁👍
Trent Dabs if those scooters were easier to find I would get a crashed Revel scooter and use its engine and battery pack. Vintage look with modern tech
How much is this item worth fella ?? Nice riding suitcase.
I wanted to see him carry it.
I guess mustie1 got me here, hook him up with some parts 😉
Here by the grace of Mustie1..... but imagine an electric version of this...... :D
cool as . thanks
but hay , you forgot the back wheel has a red knob in the rear to raise and lower the rear wheel too .
I'm here thanks to mustie too!
I'm another Mustie1 fan lol
Epic
the rear suspension can be collapsed in order to retract the wheel, i guess.
What's the top speed of this thing?
30mph if you lucky with an added sail
walmart portable 2 stroke generator with an added handlebar and wheels
LOL! Good one!
That was no fully folded up. The rear wheel was out.
Yup..... Saw Musties video.
a-m-a-z-i-n-g
MUSTIE1
I would have liked to see you pick it up one handed by its carrying handle !!
I think those socks are banned in some states!
CHEERS!
💪🙌🙌😎
Well I guess I’m here now 😂
*5 billionth comment about that other RUclipsr guy who has this scooter.
But wait you didn't fold in the wheel?
that's the father of the Honda motocompo.
I need to find a luggage rack for mine.
Oddly cool
Jim also has a 1940 Ford panel van based hot rod: ruclips.net/video/_P4tV2n7xXw/видео.html
