    As a Sydneysider, just watched all three of your VLog and I have to say that you guys absolutely nailed it! Stunning content, so good to see tourists getting out and exploring our beautiful city (I not sure of the word for but something like) organically, like as the locals would ( and should).
    Kudos to your channel!

      Wow, thank you so much for the kind words!! I'm glad you enjoyed our vlogs. We had such a great time in Sydney, 9 days wasn't long enough!! So much to see and do.

    After spending almost 3 months in NZ, we also went to Sydney for two weeks (early April). We spent two days in the Blue Mountains, getting there from Sydney by buses and trains...

    We also went to Manly Beach (the Lebanese restaurant there was awesome!) and the botanic gardens...

    I feel like one thing NZ can claim above Aussie is definitely how pleasant our bird song is, lol! Seriously though, I can't believe I've never been to Sydney - it's gorgeous. Feels a bit late now, though! Thanks for letting me live vicariously through you both 😉❤

      The NZ birdsong is definitely unmatched!! Sydney was a lot nicer than we were expecting, so many cute cozy neighbourhoods and shops hidden in the bustling city! ❤️

    Sydney local here - Blue Mountains is one of my favourite places to go - had many day trips and longer stays there over the years. Always something new to find - I just discovered Elysian Rock last time I was there.

    The Blue Mountains is just a magnificent grand canyon full of trees and ferns and below in some parts.
    The Grand canyon walk in the Blue Mountains is spectacular. It's on the other side of the highway. Also the Blue Mountains.
    Speaking of the Grand canyon in the US the Capertee Valley (pronounced Kay-per-tee) is a large canyon in New South Wales, Australia, 135 km (84 mi) north-west of Sydney that is noted to be the second widest of any canyon in the world, exceeding The Grand Canyon. It is located 135 km (84 mi) kilometres north-west of Sydney, between Lithgow and Mudgee, in the Central Tablelands, just above the Blue Mountains.

      @brittanymorgan09  3 месяца назад +1

      That sounds incredible! We may have to add the Capertee Valley to our next Australia trip. Thanks for the tip!

      @@brittanymorgan09 You can easily drive into the Capertee Valley, but probably for a tourist with limited time, it's better to stay at the rim. You get better views from there. The only larger canyon is the Grand Canyon in Arizona. Just a bit to the west of the road is the ridge of the Great Dividing Range. Water to the east of the ridge flows east to the Tasman Sea/Pacific Ocean. That to the west takes the long journey west inland and eventually south into the Murray River and on to the Southern Ocean.

    Three hours?
    Don’t know what train you caught, but the train travel time from Central Station to Katoomba Station is approx two hours, not three.

      There were a few lines that were out of service due to the intense rain 48 hours prior so the trip took a bit longer than normal 🍻

      We were in north Sydney so had to catch a train into downtown, then wait for the train into the Blue mountains. We got really lucky with it not being cancelled/delayed too since it rained like crazy a couple days before.
