I know that in every comment section I seem so negative about the way Cane plays. However, I thoroughly enjoy his story telling and am here for the entire ride. I just wish he would ATTEMPT to build and play a team differently than the same ‘ol same ‘ol pass heavy team. Easily some of my favorite content on RUclips.
I gotta see that scrimmage between the Buffalo O-line and the Buffalo Front Seven. Truly a case of the incredibly stoppable force vs the very movable object.
I know others have said that conference changes are broken. In order to avoid it being an issue, you just need to go into conference rules and do a quick increase-decrease of conference games. I rebuilt the PAC-12 in my Colorado State dynasty in order to move my team up into a power 5 conference and any conference that got changed I did the trick to ensure things work as intended.
I think the sliders need to be adjusted. I get its supposed to be challenging, but it feels unrealistic how well the cpu blocks, and how few turnovers you get.
I’d recommend decreasing cpu pass blocking sliders. It’s the only way I’ve been able to get any d line pressure in my dynasty. I know your d linemen aren’t great but they should still be able to get occasional pressure against MAC o lines
@7elevenevan pass block sliders are reversed. Lower numbers means better pass blocking. Try increasing it a bit to like 60 and should make a difference
Later in the year, there is no situation where sending the house is better than hard selling if you know they’re 3 top pitches. Selling the house has SIGNIFICANT diminishing returns later in the process. Hard sell is always superior if you can.
Try and flip prospects you really want by keeping them on your board after they commit. I think if the team they are committed to is doing very poorly then could decommit
Been watching you for awhile Mr. Hurriicane. Your passion for sports in general is awesome to watch. You should think about broadcasting sports for your local college or high school.
For me, seeing you face off vs Tahj Bullock is wild. I was Buffalo the first 2 years of my dynasty (then got hired at Arizona). But my year 2 QB was Tahj Bullock after he transferred away from Akron. He's a slightly less mobile, slightly more accurate, version of Ogbonna. Love your videos, keep it up.
I love that our defense gets stops or turnovers so infrequently that our offense genuinely doesnt know what to do when it happens. the 2 sack 3 and out off the fumble is peak buffalo
Really enjoyed this episode. Some tough losses, but good games. Other than Eastern Michigan, those other two games look winnable. Looking forward to the end of season 1.
Been watching bro since the Minesota watch the mlb stuff nfl college all of gotta be one of the most genuine true people when im low I watch some hurricane thanks big dawg for doing you and keep going 🎉
Don't know how familiar you are with it but as a smaller school that needs to focus on lower star prospects, focusing on Athletes can be a game changer from what I've seen. Jacob Reid has a great video about how it's almost a cheat code. Finding an Athlete at a position in the tendency you're looking for can be very overpowered i.e. just a 2 star Athlete QB that is the Scrambler tendency could turn into a high 60's, low 70s OVR with 90+ Speed and 90+ Throw Power. Athlete's by nature will have better physical ratings so finding one in a tendency that leans towards high ratings in specific fields will give you an advantage over looking for the tendency you desire off the rip, especially if you, again, have to target less popular prospects. Athletes also are usually good candidates for position changes, naturally. Things like Scrambler ATH QBs, Pass Coverage ATH LBs, Receiving Back ATH RBs, etc. could turn into game breaking players. Just a thought to help out as a small fish in a big pond in the collegiate world!
I really think you should mess with the defense sliders a bit and maybe bump up injuries. It’s good to have injuries so you need to recruit depth as well and give chance for players to be come the next channel star.
The physical archetype receivers usually have a decent break tackle rating. But if you want moves you’ll probably have to find an athlete that’s a receiver, usually not many that 3 star and below though. Had one 3 star receiver at Tulsa who had high 80s strength and low 80s break tackle. He performed really well, always broke a couple tackles a game it felt like. Receiving backs also make decent receivers if the size is there
I’ll be honest. This first year is gonna make the rebuild that much more satisfying. If I’m not mistaken, didn’t Kalispell have a rough first year? In a couple seasons, we can all look back at these highlights and be glad we hired Mr. Hurricane as our athletic director!
For this stage in the dynasty it doesn’t make sense to scout 3 star recruits. Even the busts would drastically improve the roster. Allocate more points towards finding 1-2 star gems
Instant commitment can happen in EA 25, just like before be in #1 in school interested in signing and offer scholarship. Low chance but still possible.
@@neonwhitea.1548have to use the pass protections and make sure your guards have good pbp/rbp and make sure tackles have good pbf/rbf. i use the same sliders and struggled w utep o line till year 3
My dynasty is with Ohio and Ricky Hunt Jr is the 3 time running back of the year and one time heisman winner, and all time rushing leader and touchdown scorer for Ohio. Weird seeing him on the other side.
From watching this only on RUclips, my biggest complaint so far is that not only do the players all appear to have the same exact running stride, but it's a very specific one that doesn't work as a catch-all animation. I felt NCAA 14 was very good at that. It didn't look like a specific player, and never bugged me. I watch this and that just bugs me. The thing I like the best is it looks like when you're in the pocket you have some maneuverability with the move up or back animations whereas trying one of those resulted in a sack most of the time unless you evaded them with it. Your thoughts?
I noticed you hit the red power meter on a lot of FG attempts. Not sure if that is on purpose, but the chance to shank a kick goes way up if you hit red.
So just did my first offseason. I lost like 5 safeties and CBs. They all transferred because of playing style. I didn’t rate well with zone, hybrid and cover corners because only had 6 INTs during the season (not a horrible amount). But run support safeties love me because the tackling numbers are so high compared to the rest of the league when play 11-12 minute quarters. Has anyone found ways to influence playing style for DBs so this isn’t a constant process? Even in the portal no CBs wanted me so way hard to fill that position
@@zyntropolis really? That’s crazy. EA always doesn’t allow the most simple things that the other big sport franchises do. I like to play as both teams but in franchise mode you can’t change teams in game, The Show and 2K allows you to do it no problem.
If Awful Coaching did commentary videos on college football and this Buffalo Bulls team was real we’d be seeing titles like “This Buffalo Bulls Offense is why we live in North Korea” and “The Federal Government Has to Stop Adam Cain”
I agree with one more video to wrap the season up and then offseason. This team stinks and the rebuild really begins Y2. Excited for what players actually commit and transfer in

I loved when he ran the wishbone in Minnesota. That was a fun offense to watch
He is great at storytelling for sure
Been a fan since the Dolphin franchise on Madden!
His play style is great, so is the fact that he's willing to poke fun at it along with us
The Minnesota diamond pistol offense was so much fun
If Cane doesn’t throw an interception in this video i will quit my job and move to Slovakia to live in the mountains
Well I guess you’re moving to Slovakia now 😂
Better show proof lol
Time to pack up the U-Haul cargo jet and start packing!
To Slovakia I go
Get ready to learn Slovakian buddy
Buffalo having only 1 more win than they have commits going into Week 9 was certainly not on the bingo card.

I think another multi game episode to wrap up the season this week would be nice.
I like that it isn't easy to get wins right away. Going to be a lot of pain before the success, but that makes it even better. Keep it up Cane
if Cane doesn't throw a pick I'll eat a box of warheads like Skittles

That tackle planned on sending you back to Buffalo himself on that TD run 15:20

Guarantees in life. Death, taxes, snow in Buffalo winters and Cane throwing 2nd half INTs…oh wait! 😅
For recruiting try the sway to attempt to get them interested in the grades that are higher if their interests have really low grades.

You should be Swaying a guy like Dingle who doesn't align with your pitches over continuing to send the house in the later stages
Akron first touchdown would frustrate me so much. What in the world was the corner doing, calling it a good route is being extremely nice.

Fuqua at safety has been so brutal all season lol
I love my Alma mater but ain’t no way an Akron quarterback throwing 88 percent, that’s not realistic 😂
how does he keep games so realistic in scoring it feels like all my games have 40 points or more
Leon Dingle is the perfect guy for you to be using sway on
Any update on the injury settings? What number do you think it’s best to put it on?
Off-season strategy needs to be- attack the transfer portal

Gotta point out Jenkins is wide open and the first read on that 4th and 5 at the end of the Ohio game.
I noticed you hit the red power meter on a lot of FG attempts. Not sure if that is on purpose, but the chance to shank a kick goes way up if you hit red.
Gotta stay consistent with the quick passing game, the OL isn’t good enough for you to drop back 5 steps on third and short to throw a post

Man this defense is so rough all around. Definitely gonna need a strategist DC in the offseason, probably a new OC and DC
I’d try sim gaming networks sliders. Doesn’t touch any slider except the penalties and auto subs
A 3 star bust de will likely end up around a 65 at start....
time to run the triple
i wonder what the all time turnover differential is in all of cane's franchises

The only way you're going to be able to limit opposing QB's is to turn the accuracy slider down. I've tried everything else and nothing works.
If you can actually do it….3 videos tomorrow😂
I look forward 3 videos full of interceptions tomorrow 😂
