Even as an advanced gamer who's been using PC for pretty much a decade, the coach always has something new for me to learn or work on, love this video, never really thought about it this way.
Sorry sickles but you are nowhere near a pro... Keep trying though!
@@mendoh7891 i agree with you he is far from even average

wow this is actually an exact problem that i've had for a while now and was unable to figure out why. very helpful, thank you.

I slammed my mouse way too much and thought the thickness of my mousepad had something to do with it. Thanks!
i found these anatomy limitations once i started lowering my desk height in order to reduce friction... i love your philosophies Ron, keep it up!
Never had this problem. I used to palm grip before but I tried finger tip and my overall aim improved alot.
Thank you Rambo. It helps me so much. Keep going on guy. Love you!
Rambo always has great advice. His input about ergonomics is top notch
Idk about others but even the height of the table and the chair plays an important role in aiming too so I suggest to get a comfortable height with a proper chair where u can rest ur elbow and that would drastically make ur arms more comfortable to aim.
And also the height of the monitor so that it won't hurt ur neck when you play for hours
thank you!! I actually wanted to confirm the first tip you said and this really helped me allot better with the understanding of how i can actually have better hand movement/grip without feeling sore afterwards. you a goat !

I really appreciate these videos I’m improving my aim for sure but it’s not on the level that I want it yet
I have much experience with the slamming effect, when i die i slam my mouse into my desk to the point my wrist hurts, trying to stop doing that btw, but props to my mouse enduring that
Thank you Rambo for all this useful tips through the years!
Could u make a video about how mousepad affects aim , for eg : if we wash it after a while , feels too smooth .
bi-weekly works for me
You wash it? Haven’t touched mine since years
Hey Rambo, so I have consistent aim for the most part but I've been struggling adjusting the angle of my body towards my desk due to my shoulder injury I've had for a long time. I use my arm to aim instead of my wrist. If I angle myself straight forward in front of my desk, it will cause my shoulder to hurt when swiping to the right. Do you have any tips or ideas to help with this? Thanks :)
I'm not sure if this will help, but I used to play with my forearm resting 45 degrees (to the right) as my "center-position" (also moved my whole mousepad to be in perfect position for this movement) Then I have equal amount of degrees to turn either left or right with my mouse/forearm. It also allowed me for easier and more responsive arm movements, as in it felt like having no restriction to turn left or right as well. I hope this will help you out!
Your video about chair and desk height is crucial. If you don’t have that 90 degree on your right arm you will never know what your missing
Good to see another upload, was wondering if you are gonna make another pros playstyle vid
Have you ever heard of Floss bands? Nothing Im connected with. Im a trainer - I use them for arm care for throwing athletes and I myself use them before I play any shooters. They are compression based. They can increase your wrist ROM naturally (for a period of time after performing the routine) and I certify it helps with the cold wrist feeling when playing.
Another Cool technique that originated from my sports performance background is before playing shooters run your hands under the coldest water you can tolerate, then the hottest you can alternating for 5-10 seconds, 3 total times. Genuine gold trick for when your mouse feels terrible in your hand.
@@mikecupples1234 will try this thanks man
@@mikecupples1234 thanks man ill give this a try. I have days where I feel like I have insane aim and then days where I just feel utter dog and the inconsistences definitely hurts my confidence and we all know how important that is for shooters. Cheers.
try something called box breathing. Right when you feel the pressure rise mid game, take note of it. maybe its 4V1 and you have your team spectating you. One of those miserable situations that you'd rather find it easier just throw the round than try and clutch. Try and completely change your breathing to a tempo of 3-4 seconds inhale , 3-4 second hold 3-4 second exhale until the clutch situation ends
his videos are always original
Also guys, I would like to mention, to prevent some pain and problems, stretch your arms (wrist especially) before playing, for your tendons it is an activity like any other!
One way I countered that is by sitting at a 45 degree angle to the desk and moved the monitor to the left corner having my elbow on table arm at a 45 degree.
I play a lot of Valorant. I've been having some wrist pain lately. This is a great video. I'm deff changing my arm position. thank you. subscribed.
could you please make a video on mouse re-centering? it feels so confusing to me and i'm not sure how people are able to do it so frequently e.g. with a lower sens
its just one fluid swiping motion
Get a mouse
a xantares vid would be helpful
??? Get mouse put mouse in middle of pad it’s not that hard
@WraithTTVbtw sure buddy. But u really wanna lose that bad?

could you make a video on how to choose the best mouse for that person

Thanks for sharing this
Keep having a problem with my arm locking up trying to microflick have fantastic aim otherwise by the tiny adjustments my arm just locks or tenses up and it's not getting any better idk what to do
I love the content man! You've been killing it. Quick question for you.
I've been doing a lot of aim training and working on mechanics. I've noticed when I'm working on flicks, my hand and mouse always end up sneaking closer and closer to my body/the bottom of the mousemat, even if I'm flicking up and much as down, or resetting to center after every shot. What causes this, and is it a bad thing?
thanks again for the videos. Cheers.
I actually had this mouse tilting + arm strain problem when I was using a super light mouse (58g) so I switched to a heavy mouse ( 135g) and my problem actually vanished, due to the extra weight my mouse doesnt tilt anymore and my arm stops trying to twist unnaturally
When you're a gamer, but also studied Anatomy.
so can you help me with this thing i do
when i like swipe for a flick i dont move my mouse i kinda twist my wrist in that direction instead of moving my mouse.
look at all those medals flexxxxxx
*_😊😊😊Hello Rambo.. Can you make a video on sweaty hands because like me many people struggle with this problem when they try to quickly aim transfer or trace a target. A video on this will be nice.😊😊😊_*
You can get powders/chalk to help with it but really there’s not much you can do, it’s just bad genetics
@@IIHydraII not true. There is antiperspirants that you can use on your palms every night. And it helps controlling sweat the other day. It's not bad genetics it happens whenever you are in fight or flight mode. Even players like G2 Niko sweats.
very helpful
Nice video!
Now im wondering how many reked mices you have. This zowie ec has a cut off cable and the other zowie fk has a build out scroll wheel. :D
what are your thoughts on vertical mice? I have one but I'm not playing on competitive fps, but I feel the grip is more natural. when I go back to the traditional mice, my hand tends to shift like when I'm using my vertical mouse.
Wow, very useful
what mouse is that?? please tell me, i know its a prop coz the wire is cut, but what mouse is it? shape looks amazing, could it be ZA-13C?

Very helpful i have this problem too
Great video!
I have one question though and I couldn't find the answer anywhere:
Should I rest my wrist on the mouse pad while aiming? It feels more comfortable for me, but maybe it's not recommended.

What mouse is that?
when i go swipe my mouse to the right and then centre it without picking it up with few repeatitions like this my mouse starts to move behind where i started and at one point my elbow starts to float in ait and only my wrist is on the table!
what is the height of ur desk?
thx dude i just fixedmyaim
IDK man i just don't understand what's wrong with my aim. my arm is hard to move even with a sleeve, if i do it higher it starts to float and getting tired really quick
I think the position of your mouse is similar to how you type; everyone is going to type differently. Some people have a straight mouse position, and some people tilt it a little bit. So, there is no correct way to type, and the same is true with the mouse position. What makes the big difference in aiming will comes down to the practice time and the muscle memories.
can you explain me why when im holdin my mouse my mouse is allways on the very closest to the right side of my mousepad and i just feel lot comfortable than using my mouse on like middle on my mousepad idk this was just interesting thing i noticed:D
I have always had too little space on my desk to use my full arm, and have grown accustomed to having my wrist on the edge on the table and only using my hand to aim. Now that I have enough space to use my full arm, I've tried to use it, but after so long of one way, its hard to change. Should I make the effort to change, or should I stay with what I've been doing?
Arm placement( on table)
Does the mouse pad really makes a difference?

Hey man cool video, it does leave me with one question tho. In another video you said to try and keep you arms close to your body(for consistency, which I wanna try), but here you admit that having your arm close rotates you hand outwards, and that flaring your arm outwards gets your hand more level?
what did you do to that ZA? Is that a concept model of a new mouse? Rambo designing a zowie mouse???
its a broken mouse
what kind of mouse is that on the video?
Just jump from console to Pc but I don't understand some things. If I aim with the arm I use my wrist too for fine tunings or just the arm? I neither understand how to make swipes and 360's. Some people tell me to leave my DPI in 400 but what about the sensitivity in game?
Basically a rule of thumb is set your sens in the game to when you move your mouse exactly edge to edge on your mousepad you will do a 360 in game right back onto a target and then from there do a "my perfect sensitivity chart" to see if it should be higher or lower depending on how you like to aim also the dpi I play with 1600 dpi because it makes the mouse more responsive and cuts back latency I would start at 800 and then up it later thrown the line keeping your sensitivity pretty low to compensate for the super fast DPI
@@LSHFT_Eido Thanks I will try in my free time.
Use arm for bigger turns and wrist to micro aim. 800 is the new standard for DPI as it has reduced input lag compared to 400 ( ruclips.net/video/6AoRfv9W110/видео.html ). You can use mouse-sensitivity.com to calculate what in game sensitivity you need for each game you play. Try to keep the Cm or inch/360 turn the same across all games for optimal results... the rest is just practice and muscle memory - good luck!
@@IIHydraII Wow thank you kindly, that helps me a lot.

Aiming is about going science
Is there a controller equivalent channel to this channel out there?
Controllers have less working motions when you play, so there isn't much to talk about. Playing claw is the only different position controller players really have. If you're talking about getting better at analog aim, idk what to tell you. I played on console for 10 years and never found it to be hard or that I needed to drastically improve.
I have some short tips on my channel
Im just asking for some answer and it's about sensivity. I used to play 0.67 and 600 dpi on valorant and it felt pretty normal (I'm a wrist aimer) but recent I change to 800 dpi and use a sens converter thing and my sens was 0.503 800 dpi tired it and it was very slow why is it like that?
Might seem slower but it should actually be faster if I'm not mistaken (should feel faster just because it's a higher dpi so its more responsive) if I were you just switch back to your original dpi and try ot
what mouse is that?
Dude how do you make your elbow look relative to your mousepad and my elbow looks like it's so low compared to the mousepad, even when I try to lift it a bit, and I also have a hard time moving my arm vertically, if you can fix this problem, please tell me how, thanks.
Table height, same problem here, you need an adjustable table if your chair doesn't go high enough, well, the table would be a perfect solution because you want your chair to not go high, your feet need to rest on fhe floor
@@cjfromgtasanadreas Yeah but like I could imagine having a bit of a lower table by lifting my arm and it still doesn't look relative to the mousepad

Maby use your wrist more armmovement for lookin around and wrist when aiming Me i dont have that problem i play 400dpi 3.8 sens but it took time to master i use arm wrist and fingers for microadjust play around with your mousegrip and shape of the mouse if you use ergo try change to a ambimouse bigger smaller size etc and sometimes weight plays a role in aim too im used to 100g mice since i started playing we had intellimouse i tried gpro x superlight and i couldnt flick with the mouse now im back to my old ie 3.0 again

But i figured out the problem.. for some reason every mousepad i use.. gets affected to humidity and temperature.. one day my aim is so sharp.. the other 29 days my aim is either so so fast or so so slow..
