This place is considered as the most luxurious estate of the entire Philippines😊😊😊
The former or old Porbes Park was in Ermita, Manila. Most People living there was a group of a wealthy Spanish and American bussinessmen during that time. They transfered to Makati back then.
1st, i disagree with Forbes as the beverly hills of Manila.Corinthians is the best and modern than Forbes...So Many modern subdivision are now being develop but still unknown to public especially south Area. 2nd those village mentioned are all just from old kind of village style in MAKATI only not whole philippines. 3rd Nelly mentioned the Condo in Mckinley West as her property also but Mike brought the girlfriend to the condo she designed (just weird)😊
Forbes Park and Dasmarinas are definitely on the top 2 exclusive villages in Manila. While Greenhills might be wealthy, other newer villages should be in the top 5. Urdaneta and Bel Air happen to be in Makati. They are not as wealthy as others in other cities. The land properties are too overpriced that they are prohibitive and out of reach and ridiculous, considering that houses have to be built too close to each other.
Exclusive mansion houses are found in Cebu city which are located on top of the mountain that has the overview of the city. Mostly the homeowners are business prople....owner of SM, Ayala, foreigners who married filipina, n OFW family (who was working abroad).
Hi Nelly..i love watching your videos. Just a suggestion...try vlogging about other places outside of Makati/BGC. For subdivisions there are many other high end subdivisions sych as Ayala Alabang in Muntinlupa, Ayala Heights , La Vista, Loyola Grand Villas, Corinthian Gardens Greenmeadows, in Quezon City. There are so many vloggers concentrating on BGc and Makati ang vlogging about these other areas in Metro Manila would set you apart..
Thank you for the not-so-nice but honest comment about the houses in Forbes Park. I went there twice for an official business in an embassy (several consulates chose to live and hold office in Forbes than rent in the CBD's skyscrapers) and I don't remember being impressed by the houses' looks. Sure I was amazed that they are so huge but it felt kind of weird or spooky as many seem "empty" and several looks haunted lol. So happy you are now finally able to tell your more honest reaction without holding back but still able to present your perspective in a respectful objective manner. Cheers!
Except that not all houses in there are like that! For example, Small Laude's and Manny Pacquiao's mansions (just to give you examples as you could see them online or on the social media, because people in there value their privacy and not everyone is showing their houses). If you're talking about the outside though, which is meant to look foreboding for the privacy of most of the residences who live there. But nope, not all the houses are weird, spooky or empty!

Those subdivisions are very secured, gated, and exclusive. And yet (some or most) individual houses there have their own security guards. That is just over the top.
Corinthians gardens, white plains, Forbes park, teira pura are just some of the Beverly Hills like in the Philippines this subd.costs hundred of millions of pesos each property.
Fun fact: Forbes, Dasma, Bel-Air and Urdaneta residents can pass thru each other's gated Subdivision by having an Intervillage car stickers. With this they can take avoid traffic jams in Edsa, Makati CBD, Mckinley road etc. From airport... They can go inside Dasma to Forbes and finally exiting near BGC at the end of McKinley road! Bypassing Edsa (Ayala Edsa intersection) and 95% of McKinley road! The location of these 4 Exclusive subdivions are dead smack in the center of it all!
Mc kinley you are in your place nelly,that is the hospital of philippine army before nelly,that is the residence of soldier ,along guadalupe makati and along taguig its big ,because my father is a soldier,im always there in your place i think that was i think 1975.
What property do you own @Park McKinley West? Is it a house and lot or a condo? Bcuz foreigners have the privilege of owning ONLY condo units in the Philippines, otherwise ownership of your property might have been named after your Filipino family member/relative. I'm not convinced with the lists. Bel Air beats Ayala Alabang, Corinthians, Green Meadows? Obviously, the researcher is a Makati fanatic. Some more contenders are White Plains, Wack Wack, Hillsborough (Alabang)....!!
The prices of the houses in these subdivisions are based on the location. You mentioned some of them were even abandoned because the owners have found greener pastures in other countries like the US, Canada, and EU countries. I actually know personally the first cousin of the current Philippine president BBM and he lives here in Los Angeles. He would rather toil here in the US with his family than live like celebrities in the Philippines. I used to envy those people when I was still living in the Philippines 35 years ago. Not anymore.

Many diplomats choose Forbes Park due to its security and neighborhood. Forbes Park is located in the middle of the business district.
