Do a quick search or have any prior knowledge at all Anubis is more like the gate man of the afterlife he weighs the souls of the dead and if your soul is heavier than a feather than you get eternally damned blah blah blah. If you want to be specific he isn't the God of death in his mythos that's Osiris the God of death resurrection and the cycle. Since we are playing thay card. Ram fits Anubis way more than anyone else but OW team is set on the idea of Ram getting no love. And if we speak on recently bias then half of the characters who did get skins in this update shouldn't have.

@@formofchicken4519Anubis is not the god of death, he is the god of the dead. He guides and judges souls. There is technically three gods that “deal” with death: Seth, Anubis, and Osiris. Ram would’ve been a way better fit.

Osiris rules the underworld, so he would be god of the dead, and Seth just guides people through the underworld but not to it. Anubis LITERALLY takes them to the afterlife. If you had to narrow it down, would Anubis not be the death guy?
Edit: Anubis DID rule the underworld in the earlier Eras of Egyptian mythology, so at some point yes he was also god of the dead, but I don't think he was ever not also the god of death.
Creative team is savage for not giving Ram an Egyptian or desert themed skin and on top of that at 1:43 having Anubis Reaper ult on him…They didn’t “forget” about Ram…They’re styling on him lol.

They’re referring to how many of the Heroes get neglected in terms of Skins; specifically, how Mercy, Kirko, and Tracer tend to get tons of skins instead of characters like Rammatra and Venture which would make more sense this season.

Yup!!! The mythic they've done on Reaper is FIRE AS HECK but it doesn't "suit" him. Reaper is "Evil" where Anubis has a thing where it weighs dead person heart with the feather to see if they were good or bad and we know well that Rammatra is about justice.
What should happen is Rammatra getting Anubis mythical skin and Reaper Ammit the "soul eater" skin....both are themed perfectly and everyone would be happy.

I understand that by "devs" you mean Blizzard as a whole and not necessarily the specific designers and code-monkeys, so yeah, I agree. Since I will never buy the battle pass 80% of this trailer (including, I suspect, the teaser at the end) was just stuff I'll never be able to get/do. Disappointing. I do like redone maps though.

I play a decent amount of Mercy and have most of her skins, but dude, she DOES NOT NEED ONE EVERY SEASON. Same goes for Kiriko. Please, Blizzard for the love of GOD, give Venture some legendary skins. Give ZARYA SOME LOVE!! Or Orisa. Just anyone but Mercy, Kiri, Dva, Ashe or Widow. Some people actually play the game with two hands.

Blog says mobile heroes getting health nerfed. I feel they'll make the WORST damage in the game Genji 225 and that's when he is actually getting retired and I go Venture full time.
Because of no new skins? Ramattra got a Megatron-Skin last season but if you didn´t like it that´s your personal opinion. I don´t main any hero but playing heroes you like doesn´t only work if they get new skins. It´s nice and all but it´s more a luxuary than a necessity.
@@93Chowo I was referring to their content in general, Ramattra is suppose to be robo-hitler, but aside from some PvE cutscenes you wouldn't know that; as for Venture, we still don't know why they joined overwatch(unless it gets revealed that they hate talon so much that they joined a militia)

There are characters who act outside of Talon or Overwatch like for example Hanzo, Illari or the Junkers which are also doing their own thing. If we would get new Story-Missions I would have imagined a mission where they meet Venture and team up against Talon but afterwards split up again as Venture most likely would follow their own mission protecting artefacts.
None of this really matters to me until they figure out the hacker situation, and why can't we have a map vote?

praying LW petal has a shorter cd, less health and falls down when no one’s one it, aswell as making his healing blossoms split healing(heal+heal-over time)+shorter weapon swaptime so I can actually dps a lil, and maybe an increase in distance for dash but less healing from it
Nah that distance with the lower petal cooldown would be much worse, its insane that an almost 300hp support can dash already pretty far and it heals him every 5 seconds

I think the sword at the end was a reference from He-man masters of the universe. I think it would be amazing to see reaper as skeletal and Ironhide as Motu.

I think with this theme (the Egypt theme) Venture would of been a brilliant hero to drop with this. I think the battle pass being called New Frontiers or whatever its called is only called that because of Juno, other than that it has nothing to do with space..

I don't play Reaper, but being all into Ancient Egyptian mythology with Anubis at the forefront of my favourite gods, I guess I will be starting to play Reaper
Mirrorwatch and April Fools coming back might be a way to gauge the casual playerbase some more. Aaron Keller and Alec Dawson actually disagreed on how competitive quick play should be, with Aaron supporting sweaty games and Alec saying that he thinks quick play has become too sweaty, which I agree with. I want Overwatch quick play to feel casual again.
You guys are right with the mythic being amazing for ramatra, but it also works insanely well for reaper. I'm guessing they were avoiding giving ramatra 2 deity based skins since he's posidon as well but I could be wrong.

I think a large part of it is Ram got nothing at all (especially when mercy gets 2 skins, and kiriko and genji also get 1).
The mythic does fit excellently for Ramattra, but if he got a different skin in the battlepass less people would complain about it, since he’d at least get something for the theme.
There’s also the fact that it breaks the previous pattern of 1 mythic for each role every 3 seasons (although they probably would’ve had to break it eventually since they add mythics faster than they add characters)

I see a lot of people saying that there's no venture, ram, or Juno skins. friendly reminder that there's always a couple of skins that they don't show in the trailers in each season. Which narrows it down to Genji or Illari, the only two heroes that technically use Swords.
