Just moved to KY from having lived in WV nearly my whole life. Recently picked up the banjo and I'm grateful to find such an accessible slice of home. Thank you for providing this
Have fun!
ANDY BERNARD?
❓😂
Bruh!!!!!!!! Omg!!! ❤
In German! *Dwight starts singing in german*
A lot of people may not understand this but that literally brought a tear to my eyes! Your talent is truly amazing and I pray you understand how much God has blessed you! The best I've heard in my humble opinion! May God bless you and your family young man! 🇺🇸👊
P.S. Working on this arrangement as we speak!
Thank you!
I've been practicing about 5 months, when I hit six I'll send you a little video. At this point I've mainly used you and Jim Pankey. With the exception of different licks. I'm still not comfortable playing around people but I'm working on it.
Man that five is really sounding good brother! It’s tone really suits you… and you are bringing it out very well! Love your solo here… such a pretty melody!👍
Thank you! I ended up doing a bit more adjustment on it, it's really popping now!
Another great lesson! All kinds of stuff is starting to come together and flow for me for the first time practicing this one. Thank you!
That's great to hear, thanks so much for watching!
Definitely the best banjo channel I've come across, thanks a lot!!
Thanks so much!
One of the best arrangements of that song I’ve ever heard. Great job!
Thanks, glad you like it!
Can’t thank you enough, Mason for this lesson. I’ve picked it up sooner than I thought possible. I also appreciate your short tips on tik tok. Keep them coming pls.❤
Thanks for watching, great to hear! 😀
Man that takes me back a few decades. Great skill set brother.
Thanks!
Another great vid Mason, I think you covered everything really well👍🏻. I'd love to be able to (sort of..) play this at some time, thanks a lot👍🏻🪕🎸👏🏻😊
Thanks Steve!
Alright, I've officially learned this. I learned rocky mountain breakdown also but playing that up to speed is moving along slowly. I can actually play this. Thanks!
Awesome, glad I could help!
Great tune. Awesome skills. Great job 👏
Thanks!
best tutorial ever for impatient people...ty ty ty
Glad to hear it!
HIT IT ANDY!!
Great job, Mason!
Thanks!
Great video and tutorial!
Thank you!
Classic tune! Nice tutorial Mason! (:
Thanks Kalynn!
Thanks sounds great 👍
Thanks!
This is exactly how i wish tutorials to be like. Full speed demonstration at the beginning so you have an idea what you're getting into, slow and thorough explanations, and you show tabs AND notes. Perfect! Happy to subscribe. Do you think you could make a tutorial for the same song, but in a minor key?
Edit: there is one complaint actually: due to the banjo naturally being a loud instrument, it's mostly hard to understand what you are saying. Maybe use a model where you can put something in the corpus, so it resonates less and plays a little quieter
I don't plan on doing this in a minor key... Thanks for the compliments though! I apologize if you couldn't hear me. I didn't talk while playing so the volume of the banjo likely wasn't the cause.
Thanks sounds great!,
Thanks!
Great job!
Thanks!
Way to go mason
Thanks!
Thanks!
Thanks so much!
Congratulations
God job 😎👌
Thanks!
Thank you!
Thanks for watching!
Man Mason , you are the man brother you're smooth like smooth peanut butter
Thanks!
Crunchy peanut butter is superior to smooth....😜
Gotta agree with that... But smooth banjo playing is definitely better than crunchy banjo playing😂
@@MasonCroneMusic Yes Sir
Oh I love this song and all job of the Johon Denver. I'm from Brasil and I'm playing to play banjo with you body. Thanks.
Thanks for watching!
New subscribers great job
Thanks!
Yeaaas! #wildandwonderfulwv #almostheaven
Great lesson! Think you could do a lesson on streets of bakers field banjo break on the the josh Williams album???
Thanks! I'll take a look at that.
I just picked up a banjo for the first time after playing guitar for 15 years, and wanted to learn something. Decided to go with this song and just so happen to have the same banjo as you, but without the neat design and the metal strip with the name engraved.
That is all.
That's awesome!
Could you show us the song complete please? 🙏
I love your interpretation of chorus
That was the purpose of the end, there was no reason to play the verses twice, the chorus three times etc because it's all the same thing. I just mean it wasn't necessary for an instructional video.
Not Sure if you'll read this, but this is brilliant, and so easy to follow!
I've been playing acoustic guitar for 2 years now. (Ear plugs provided!)
Got yourself another subscriber!
Keep up the great work, Sir.
❤️ From the UK 🇬🇧
Thank you!
Now in German
I'm still very much a beginner, but I have a question. I saw in the Tab where there was a slide on the 3rd string, like from 2 to 4, the 2nd string was played open. Are you picking the 2nd string at the same time that you get to 4 on the 3rd string? I hope that makes sense. Thank you.
Yes, it's at the same time.
How does the 3/2 pull off work?
Is it fretting the third and second fret at the same time, but you only do the pull off on the third?
Yep, that's right
I relly like your arrangment. Do you have tabs for verses as well?
Not currently, something to think about though
@@MasonCroneMusic Thanks for replying, greetings from Poland😀!
How does this banjo compare to your other banjos?
It's much better. It has to do with the rim and tone ring, and the overall build quality is much better. It sounds a lot better and is also easier to play.
I somewhat feel like I'm being called out in this video...because of my lack of knowledge of this song when I attempted to play it in your presence. 🤣😜
This video has been in planning for months. Any likeness to being related to any event past, present, or future is purely coincidental.
What banjo are you using in this video? How many banjos do you have?
It's a Gold Tone OB 250+. I currently have 4 banjos, this is the only good one though.
🪕😎👏👏👏‼️like warm honey in my ear😊👍
Thanks!
Is there a version of you playing the entire song without the lesson?
I don't have one currently, something to think about though!
Any good banjos for less than 100 dollars?
To be frank... No 🤣
@@MasonCroneMusic ah, thank you.
The Office 😀
Okay 🤷♂️😂
