Fall 2024 Civic Educators Conference | Session 2 | UVU Center for Constitutional Studies

The 2024 CTLI Civic Educators Conference was held Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2024, at Utah Valley University's Sorensen Center's Grande Ballroom.
Teaching the Declaration at 250: Founding Principles of Natural Rights and Civic Virtue was the theme.
Session 2 featured Dr. Kirstin Birkhaug, Hope College, speaking about American Founder Mercy Otis Warren and her views on civic virtue.
Secondary civic educators (public traditional, public charter, private, and homeschool teachers) attended the daylong conference for a day of instruction by top civics scholars, curriculum development workshops, and primary-source discussions.
