Mission Statement: The Center is a nonpartisan academic institute that promotes the instruction, study, and research of constitutionalism. In particular, it examines important constitutional issues found at the intersections of political thought, public policy, religion, law, history, and economics. It employs a multidisciplinary approach to more effectively equip a new generation of citizens and leaders with a broad understanding of political thought and economic and political practices critical to the perpetuation of constitutional government, ordered liberty, and the rule of law.
Revolutionary Mothers – CCS Book Club May 16
The American founders framed a republic reliant on citizens both knowing our constitutional system and feeling a responsibility to engage in civic life.
To promote and enrich understanding about our constitutional republic and inspire healthy civic participation, the Center for Constitutional Studies (CCS) at Utah Valley University (UVU) hosts a community book club.
Meeting every few months and open to all, these constitutional conversations are facilitated by a faculty or staff member from CCS.

im disappointed in Ahkil. Hes more interested in making political statements about history seen through the eyes of the 21st century then through the lens of history itself. He has tried and failed at writing objectively about history as a law law professor. He's a political pawn - not a historian.
