- We came to Mykonos on Celebrity Apex, and the ship docked at the new marina pier. There are several ways to enjoy a day of exploration on your own at this location.

thanks for the non-ship excursions and less expensive things to do, we are 50 and first time cruising and capable of walking around for the day Great to hear tips that we can save some money and do it on our own.

You bet. I just launched another short one about our shore excursion today. More to come soon as well. The ship is about 20 percent full. Masks only when walking in public areas. Have a great sailing!

You bet. Thanks for watching. You definitely have to stay aware but not too treacherous at all if you are steady on your feet. The boat taxi is a cheap fun option right there too. About 2 euros or less I think. Happy travels!

Was there 4 weeks ago, went in for a drink with my wife and 2 friends, we had 1 pint bottle of beer and 2 small glasses of white wine , it came to €56, the bottle of beer cost €32!!!!!, never again

My wife and I will be on the Apex for the Greece/Israel trip at the end of August. We were under the impression that shore excursions still had to be taken through the cruise company. Has that policy changed? If so, that opens a lot of interesting options for our trip.
We were free to explore on our own in Greece. That might be different in Israel.

Yes. You can explore independently every where on the itinerary. Have a wonderful cruise.
Do you recommend taking a tour from NCL cruise or using private tour?

A tour with NCL would be perfectly good and fun. I like to get independent tours, though, as they will be less expensive, able to be customized a little more to fit your interests and have fewer people in the group. Happy travels!

Visiting island on Viva in September, no ship tours booked. They are all over priced. Will have good breakfast and walk, walk and walk all day. In the end no weight gain
