- In this week's video I board Royal Carribean cruise ship Independence of the Seas for a short three-night cruise departing from Port Canaveral FL. We take you around the ship and show what is happening such as where to eat and the muster drill. Then as we get ready to depart, we run into a major problem that leads to people being kicked off!

Good to see a younger person up and coming cruiser. It’s good a see a different perspective
Delightful young man with such enthusiasm about other than things you might not know about Things you might not even thing think about knowing. Good to see through this young man’s perspective.Great Host Tyler ( I like the expression of host you are using.
Great job as always nephew! Cant wait till we all sail wonder together!
Thanks Aunt Melissa! Really looking to that cruise!
Nice to see someone finding interest in other vessels than just cruise ships. :D Nice vid dude!
Glad you enjoyed! 🤙
Man I love all that harbor stuff. Great vlog. That disembarkation was wild.
Glad you enjoyed it, Tony! It was indeed crazy to see it happen! Was not what I expected to see when the cops showed up on the dock!
There was a scallop seafood processing there. Used to take care of the big ice machines there take home bucket of fresh scallops. Trident missile subs came in to test fire the missiles. Area had really changed from the time we used to fish there during the winter, big blues making the migration. Hundreds of cats lived in the rocks
I like your perspective. We’ve never sailed out of this port. You’re knowledgeable!
You are very knowledgeable about boats I'm impressed, I hope you had a good time
My 1st time viewing you, very pleased! You covered other points, some I typically look for. Tkd
Sailed on the Indie across the Atlantic - fab trip will always be my favourite.
Did you ever find out why the couple was thrown off the ship?
We can HEAR 👂 you. Take it easy. 🤗 I do love your different visuals. ♥️
Yay! Thank you!
Hey Tyler! I love this video. The Independence of the Seas is my favorite cruise ship! When I go on Royal Caribbean cruise ships, the navigation channel is also my favorite thing to watch! Amazing work🤩
11:56 is my favorite too
Loved how you did this video. No wasted time, and I didn't skip through anything.
Thanks for sharing! 👍🏽👍🏽
Thanks for watching!
Glad you enjoyed yourself, Tyler.
I did, thanks!
Dude I was just on that same cruise back in July and had no idea there were TWO SpaceX launch pads that close to the port! Thanks for that info! I will definitely be bringing my zoom lenses on my next cruise so I can hopefully take a few pics. Also really like your enthusiasm and ability to keep the whole video engaging. I learned allot that you don’t see from other presenters. 👍👍👍
I loved the port tour and how knowledgeable you are. Very interesting to see things from that perspective. Can't wait for the next video.
Glad you enjoyed it! A lot more content involving the port coming up over the next few months!
Great video!!! Thank you for sharing.
My favorite port. Love your video.
Thank you! It is mine as well!
At age 27 I went on a free cruise a buddy invited me on (he earned a trip sponsored by Cadillac). The food was good, the company at our table was good. But it was raining all week in the Caribbean, we were broke, and there were no single women our age, so it was BORING. I was also shocked at how shabby most those islands were. The excitement was wandering onto a nude beach. Let me tell you, these were the wrong people to get naked. We retreated, splashing our eyes with bleach as we ran away. 😅
Great Video sir! I worked on that ship for a few months at the end of 2021 and I miss her.
Tyler, you have a lot of great info on your videos that other content creaters don't have.
I appreciate that, Nancy!
Hey congrats you had a viral video here! What was the secret? 😂 Great video though with a run/gun fast moving vlog. Nice job! We haven’t seen a cruise vlog from you before.
He's doing it right. There are too many creators doing way too much of the same thing. Find a way to stand out.
What is Muster Station for those of us who have never gone on a cruise ?
@@dannywhatley4900 It's a mandatory hazing ritual in which the passengers are doused with mustard.
Just scrolling through cruise videos for our next adventure and stumbled across your video. Noticed you boarded the cruise we just got off of and funny enough, you have our stateroom we just left. Enjoy cococay! We didn’t get to see it, but enjoyed the ship! ❤
That was a good 👍 video i enjoy 😉 keep up the good work thanks 🙏
First time watching your video. I’m impressed with the information you provide! 👍🏼
Tyler! XYZ! The Barn Door is Open! (The end of day recap at the end of the video...) Seriously though, first time seeing you channel and loving the passion and knowledge you have of the port as well as the industries that are centered there. We are about to take our very first cruise, and you are giving me a better idea of what the port is about than anyone else I have seen. I love ships and the engineering that goes into them, and you seem to have a similar interest in what goes on in the operations side rather then the show the cruise lines put on. Keep it up, it is an Awesome Take!
Nice video, enjoyed all the port information
First time seeing one of your videos. ABSOLUTELY LOVE how much information you have on the port! Much appreciated as a homeschool mom and a cruiser. :-D
Hi buddy(Tyler) hey just clicked on to your video, good job on catching my eye on it as well! You did good, I subscribed and like also. Good luck with your channel, I hope you get a lot of follows, sailing, cruising, and just absolute adventures is what it’s about! Have fun, and thank you again🎉❤
Thanks! Appreciate it!
Well done! You are well informed and well spoken!!! Super job!
Thank you kindly!
First time seeing your channel. Thank you, different from the rest. Best wishes
Nice channel. Straight to the point. Excellent and colorful information. Love the Timelapse vid.
geez, impressive monologue with that harbour tour, full of knowledge
AWESOME!THANKS FOR SHARING!THAT WOULD BE SOMETHING I WOULD LOVE TO DO,ONE DAY?
Great shots of the launch pads
Very entertaining and fun to watch. Thanks for posting this.
He's more excited by the support vessels than the cruise ship. Lol
Haha! 😆 If it floats and has an engine of some kind on it, I like it! 🤙
I sailed on the Nordic Prince back in 1987 from NYC to Bermuda over 8 days.
We had to turn around before we got to The Narrows, as somebody called in a bomb threat. So...back to the dock we went, so NYPD Harbor Patrol and the Coast Guard could check. (Nothing found, and only one couple left; Royal Caribbean comped them free flights home AND another cruise.) Throughout the cruise they were awesome. I know the Prince is gone, but I'd sail with them again, no question.
I just found your channel. I enjoyed this video so i subscribed. -Marc
Loved this ship when it used to be to sail from Southampton.
Great info. I have not sailed RC yet bit the ships look beautiful.
New subscribers
Enjoyed your knowledge of the surrounding areas
Good luck we will be watching
Thanks, and welcome onboard! 🙂
Now I'm going to think of those showers as the Star Trek Transporters every time I see them. :)
Haha! Yeah, everytime I see those that is also what I think! 😆
Funny 🤣 I just came off of it's sister ship library of the seas
2:37 - Note the Navajo nuclear cruise missile, which serves as decorative "gate guard" for the entrance to Cape Canaveral Naval Air Station. Cruise missiles + cruise ships, lol, what a place.
Love the Independence. Hope to cruise on her again one day.
Thanks for sharing bro
No problem 👍
Cruising out of Vancouver BC the pilot was pick up by helicopter. How cool was that
Great video! You are very knowledgeable. A very refreshing taste on cruise life for all us cruise lovers.
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoy my style to doing cruise videos!
First time watching you, Tyler. Great job, a really interesting tour you did! I just joined as a subscriber. Keep on doing fun cruise videos!
I loved that you showed the pilot transfer. I heard that someone from the pier does it but didn't realize how he/she got off the ship.
Thank you! I have a full video on the pilots on my channel that explains what they do in detail: ruclips.net/video/SMZaBwM-_dY/видео.html
I love cruises. I was on Carnival Freedom last month. Can't wait to take another cruise in January/February.🤗
I went on the freedom line 4 years ago. It wasn't bad but I'm sure vista is much better...1 month to go!
you are great energy and fun to watch keep up the great enthusiasm you will be at the #1 slot for cruise shows soon with your videos being so fun

Great video Tyler!
Thanks a ton Brandon! Glad you enjoyed it brother!
Carnival fantasy, was my first cruise. My daughter and I enjoyed ourselves very much
That's awesome to hear!
Excellent info. This was a very educational video.
Did you ever find out why the people were kicked off the ship. great video.
A few people got kicked off ovation of the seas on boarding day when I was on it December 23. The ship left half an hour late as they took forever to get off.
People being kicked off don't typically think about other people
Thank you for a great video!
Very informative harbor and ship tour. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
Very nice video, Tyler. You continue
to get better and better
Nice job !
Thank you! Cheers!
Just watched 1st of your videos. You really did your homework; enjoyed all the port and ship info. Keep up the good work!
Awesome, thank you!
I’ll be on this ship Monday. It will be my second cruise
Awesome! She is a fantastic vessel. Enjoy!
@@TheTylerShow my first one was on her. I had such a good time. Really looking forward to this sailing. I’m going to do all that I didn’t get to last time.
What a fantastic and educational video! Thank you for the tour of the port there and showing the pilot transfer. I rarely see that. I saw helicopter one on Radiance last month.
Your very welcome Cherloe! Since you enjoyed the pilot transfer, you may enjoy this video I did last month on the Canaveral Pilot: ruclips.net/video/SMZaBwM-_dY/видео.html
Interesting video, another thing that happens is DHS will check the registry for warrants and arrest people.
Wow I feel so bad for the kids 😮
Hi Tyler. Great video as always. I was on the Anthem and I got to see the Artemis launch from the ship. It was awesome!
Thank you so much Kathy! That is so cool!
Tyler, you're so young, so knowledgeable, continued success in your life❤👍🏽
Tyler Thank You for the stream. I have been on that ship. Great times on Royal Carribean. Thank You for the education of the port in Florida.
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it!
Take care from the sun my fair skinned friend. You sure have a good knowledge of Port Canaveral.
Thank you, I will!
Well done
Thank you!
People getting off the ship likely had something simple like a family emergency. Law enforcement have to meet them at the ship and escort them out as everything from the metal detectors to the dock side of the port is a secure area.
True, but they would have a TWIC private security escort, not sheriff and also a Pier Agent would have been present which was not the case.
We had friends get paged by the police and taken off, temporarily. Their car had been hit in the terminal parking lot!
Hi Tyler! I enjoyed the video. Keep up the good work! 🚢
Thank you so much Jay Lo! Will do!
I was on the Liberty when it passed by you as it turned around and left port. You didn't see me wave ? Yea right.
Hi Mike! I did wave to you all from the Indy! Hope you had a great cruise on the Liberty!
Great video Tyler! Can’t wait to see the rest of the IndependenceOTS vlogs!
Thanks brother! Looking foward to sharing the rest!
Loved the IOS
I can’t tell if this guy is 16 or 35
Thanks, I guess!?🤷♂️
Looks like 20
I would say 15, I don't think he's old enough to have a driver's license.
Great video Tyler! Awesome camera shots and very informative!
Thanks a ton Mike & Betsy! Glad you all enjoyed it!
Was on the Ovation of the Seas 2 weeks ago and I found the food in the Windjammer to be average.
The Coastal Kitchen was great.
The restaurant is called “Grills.” My wife and I love this place to eat!
It is truly a great place to eat! Love to eat there!
Awesome video, my guy!
Appreciate it!
@@TheTylerShow Are you on a cruise rn?
Seen many cruise RUclipsrs and I must say I really enjoyed your video! Very seem very knowledgeable and gave great informative info! Look forward to seeing more of your content! Enjoy! 😊👍
Excellent channel very informative!Great video .
nice video!!
Looks so fun
It sure was a good time, Landon! Thanks for watching!
Great video Tyler! 👍
I personally love living in Port Canaveral & watching the cruise ships come & go.
You did an excellent job explaining the surrounding port areas.
Looking forward to watching more of your videos.
thanks for your video. you showed a lot of things that i'd been curious about like the tug pilot that comes on board to guide the ship into and out of port and the ship's sideways movement to clear the dock which it does apparently without assistance. i would be interested in a cruise to view the night sky and wondering if ships are built with cabin decks having a minimal overhead area and away from ship lighting for the best view. i see where they do have star gazer cruises but they look like too high a reach for me just being curious about the night sky without any science background.
Hi there! The helipad on this class of ship is the perfect place for looking at stars as there is minimal lights in the front of the ship. Just go when you are far from any port and clear skys and you sould see something. 🤙
My family and friends were on Adventure of the Seas one year and some friends in our group had to leave because of a death in the family and had to get off at the next port we enjoyed the Cruise but it wasn't the same.
Great quality video!! What equipment do you use (camera and production)?
Thank you! I use the DJI Osmo Pocket, GX85 and S10. I edit the video in Final cut pro and color grade it using the Tribe South Florida lut.
@@TheTylerShow Thank you! Really impressive. I subscribed. 🙂
It’s a shame over one thousand viewed your videos but did not subscribe ❤hello from Australia 🇦🇺 got my support
Excellent video!!!
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it!
How TF you get kicked off the ship on embarkation day (other than not doing muster)?
Super job on this video! I am Diamond Plus and can’t wait to get out to sea on November 26. Enjoy.
