Love the video but the fish eye effect makes me feel like I've been secretly drugged and my perception is all warped. It's worse when paired with a vertical pan of the camera. Hope that helps and keep the videos coming! Love your stuff!
I have went on this cruise ship before. And let me tell you, it was probably one of the best experiences of my life. So relaxing and calming. The rooms were pretty small.
I think Princess ships look very "posh" without being pretentious. Thank you for this lovely tour.
Royal Princess has to be the smoothest ship I ever cruised on. No joke, the first night I got out of bed a few times to see if we were actually moving.
I was on the RP in April of 1988. My grandparents took my mom and I. They bought the tickets for her and my stepfather, but he left my mother on Christmas night. So I got to go. It was so fun! Plus, she finally got rid of that jerk. We started in Acapulco, then went through the Panama Canal, then Aruba, Martinique, and St. Thomas. It was spectacular. My mom was cheered up, too. 😊
We are booking a New Zealand cruise on this ship for February 2025 . When you said the mini suite was your favorite, that made my decision easy. Love your videos ❤

Could use some bedroom suite upgrade's though to satisfy the passenger's taste to come back again and again, wall's are needed instead of curtain's because privacy is a must for certain people

I must agree with Michael here. As always, I very much enjoy your videos, but this fish eye view is very disorienting and distracting. Please consider reverting to a standard scan of the photo or video. Thanks!!
Absolutely; the video was extremely hard to watch with the fish-eye view, almost to the point of headache-inducing.

I have been a princess cruiser for awhile...I love the ships, But I dont like how the new class of ships took away the walk around deck on the lower decks...This was a nice feature that kept either the sun or rain off of you when going for walks outside. I have noticed that all the newer ships are being built this way...what a shame.... I do Love princess ships though... I am a princess person for life.. The Golden and the Star are my favorites and the Sapphire is a Very Close second
Hi guys...thanks for the video. I just wonder where you two normally sail from. Where do you live? If you don't mind. We have a cruise coming up, but we live in Buffalo, NY, so that means flying to a port for us.
Our nearest port is Southampton in the UK although we cruise a lot from Barcelona, Spain

Can anyone tell me what power point is used on board and the voltage? For example : is it 240 volt British 3 pin plug or 110 volt America 2 pin plug? I am travelling from Australia on Royal Princess so I will need an adaptor or something to covert the Australian plug. Yor experience with this ship very much appreciated.
The ships run on a EU 230v. Cabins have a EU 230v outlet and a US 120V outlet.

Yes there is. It is on the top decks.
Maybe invest in a different camera, the footage is hard on the eyes. IMO

Just paid my cruise off for Nov 2018 and asked when will be receiving the Medallion and he said we aren’t!!! The medallion isn’t working well on the ships.

On Princes ships the kid areas are kinda a waste of space it’s rare that any parents leave the kids there , you might see a couple of kids. Or most of the time it’s closed.

What did you think of Royal Princess in comparison to Britannia? We've been on Britannia twice, but have yet to sail with princess.

Question to anyone that has gone on the ship. Is buying the wifi worth it? For us it'll be $75 for 5 days and we are currently debating.
It's really upto you if you think you will need it. For us, we only buy the wifi ifs its reasonable or would just use our phones in the port.

@@xan6991 Most of the time you sail overnight except a few sea days where you sail all day. If we dont have the wifi package we will find a cafe in port to catch up with the ourside world hehe.

That thing in the middle is a waste of space....another full size pool would be better! Too bad a few ships have this.
