Less is more. Meaning less stuff, less things, less external entanglements means more peace of mind, more time to remember to cultivate presence. Having stuff also requires energy, if one is still prone to attachment. Using one's energy simply to acquire stuff will take one away from peace of mind. If that is still a challenge, try for less self, less story, less ego, less persona. That shrinks the power of attachment, as there less of us to become attached. Worked for me.

You are spot-on. That's why I prefer to say less is better. Another thing I always remind myself of is that the more things you have, the more things have you. One of the times I felt more alive than ever was when I sold and gave away nearly 90% of all my possessions before I moved to Asia. I still accumulate too much by my standards but eventually it all leaves my hands anyway. Thank you for your valuable and insightful offering.

Rest your mind, nourish your soul, be gentle with yourself. I wish you healing.
