What you perceive to be "kind" in this case is unforgivably horrendous to a child who saw us massacre his remaining family members, with our weapons, our votes, our funding, our silence. I struggle with that.

@@kungfu390 I also struggle with our species constantly, and I struggle as well with the fact that we cannot solve the problems that we inherently create and perpetuate. But what I have come to increasingly understand is that we are each responsible for the state of only our own soul, and that if we evaluate people as to their worthiness of being loved or not, we will never become or return to being the love that we ultimately are. Lately I have been concluding that life is indeed composed of inevitable and unavoidable suffering, and the only thing we can do is create and perpetuate as much love and understanding as we possibly can within it. Everything seems to come to the same conclusion: All we can do is tend our own garden, and that is all we must do. Ultimately we are accountable for our own charge, our own lot, our own duty, our own kuleana. When we can manage it, sometimes we can transmute pain into wisdom and love. When we cannot, that is when we must forgive, if we can. And if we cannot, we must forgive our own unforgiveness, make peace with our suffering, and resonate love to our own hatred. Above all, to not allow hatred and pain to consume us. I wish I could offer better, but i, too, am suffering and struggling with this world and life in it as well.

@@timothybridgers5089 I have a very beloved and wise old aunt who has often said " I may not be able to change the world, but the world can't change me, either." I don't think it's all about changing the world. I think it's all about being our highest nature. And then there's something to be said for projecting that out into what we perceive as the world... perhaps the answer is to be pure love the best we can, regardless of, amidst, and despite the aspects of the world we can never control.

A Zen monk asked his master, "How can I be free?" The master replied, "Who has enslaved you?" Sometimes we just need to get out of our own way.

I have been drowning in cat rescue crises and matters of all kinds the past few months. That is one of the reasons why I have not posted as much as I did in the past. I went from adopting 9 to rescuing 25 and adopting 27, but I've lost 3 now tragically, and I can aver that no matter what one knows, believes, or thinks, it is still an unbearable agony. I know that the price of great love is great pain. But I cannot help but love them all anyway. Thank you again for your very meaningful and very appreciated sentiments.

In regarding my beloved adopted feline children, those who have rescued understand that it is an endeavor of mutual rescue and serving. But it is suppressed particularly in men, and collectively by the modern world we live in. I am going to give some meditation and contemplation to ask if there is more to the message that I may have missed. But because of the timeliness of the event, I wanted to post the message immediately.

@@BrotherOwlsGarden You did very well to post. I'm sorry that when I went through similar situations I didn't do the same as you. In all the world of the internet, there is no place where you can post premonition dreams like this. You "saw" the event in real time. When I go through the same situation as yours, what I "see" is a "leap" into the future, with a difference of 3..3 hours/days/weeks/months/years from the event. If you feel there is something else, you can check through meditation...but can we (knowing that certain events will happen) change the timeline?

@@eldy7777 I do not truly know. In fact I am averse to giving much energy to prophecies and predictions in any form... it does not flow with where I am in my spirituality. Not to deny it or dismiss it or endorse it or promote it. Just that I keep a distance from it. I am careful to do my best not to speculate or go too far down the rabbit hole or too far out on a limb. At this stage my entire focus is on ascertaining the message and making sure I do not miss any of it.... someone just messaged me about a possible clue or connection cited in Luke 22:10..... but again I try my best to be authentic, cautious, prudent, and lucid so as to not get carried away with speculation or what I would like things to be. If more is unfolded to me, I will surely share on it.

It’s a show to get us to give our collective attention to it. They want us to focus on the illusion instead of what is really happening. They are desperate for us to stay with them and stay with this system. They will get more and more outrageous to keep us focused on what they want, not what we want. We can follow them and what they have to show us but if we pay attention to what the false world wants us to create we are doomed. Focus on what Brian wants to see in the world, a world that has nothing but happy healthy cats and kind people like yourself that would rescue owls in trouble. That’s your real world that you create from your heart and the most important one.

@@ScientistCat Air Kitten! I love it. Not sure if you know but I have gotten very deeply involved in kitten and cat rescue here in Thailand. Since May, 17 cats and kittens have been rescued so far. The number will always be increasing. Elfie is expected to be released and flying free within the coming week.

I receive your blessing, and I truly understand, brother. I share your sentiment. I've observed them in the USA for many years, and now they've begun it here in Thailand as well. People make irrational, emotional decisions on how to process reality according to how much they are willing to face, and how much of a burden they are willing to accept to face it. For most, it costs too much to care. We can't do much to change the world, but we have a lot more to say about whether it changes us. Keep simple, pure, connected, aware, and present, brother. Fortunately you are not responsible for the world, just for your own path. Walk it in peace, resolve, clarity, and trust. Rather than despair over evil, cultivate and resonate good. It serves you better, and the world as well.

Yes, truth be told, the collective and I have had a falling out. But I guess it's part of the process. Anyway it is what is real, and I don't do inauthenticity. It just shines a spotlight on the need to control what we focus on and where we obtain the impulses and information that we fill ourselves with.
