If you walk to the middle boss, say no, walk east to the wall and back to the middle and say no and go out and back works just fine too, and makes it a little easier.

Man I remember being really hard up for money in chapter 2 and early chapter 3. Towards end game it really begins to rain money. I think I finished my playthrough with about 1.25 mil in my wallet, and that was AFTER spamming a bunch of tressa's 30k hired help on the final boss haha.

Hi guys I figured this one out by reading the comments.... if you are high level anything over level 40+ .... make sure when your in the cave you unequip all characters weapons especially forbidden weapons... this cheat will not work if have it equipped...also with high damage weapons so basically unequip all weapons and no more random encounters.
If you're under-leveled, you need this perks for your own safety: 1. Evil Ward (Cleric Support Skill) 2. Evasive Maneuvers (Scholar Support Skill) 3. Percipience (Scholar Support Skill) Why no. 3? because it prevents you being surprised by stronger encounter, based on my experience (I did this trick with my Lv. 27 Characters) it always happened, also, SAVE A LOT, no. 1 & 3 doesn't guarantee your characters will survive a battle against enemies in this dungeon.
Forget about this trick, I'll show you guys a much better money trick that's less boring: Get 2 Merchants (one with high Elem Attack) and 2 Dancers in your party. I recommend Cyrus(Merchant), Tressa, Primrose and whoever else with Dancer as their 2nd job. Cyrus needs the merchant Divine Skill - Bifelgan's Bounty. One of the merchants has to have Snatch. Go fight a boss, or any enemy with high HP. You want to use Tressa to keep transferring BP to Cyrus, whilst your Dancers keep buffing Cyrus's Elem Attack. Then use Cyrus to spam Bifelgan's Bounty over and over to kill the boss. You want Cyrus doing this because Bifelgan's Bounty scales with Elem Attack and Cyrus has the highest Elem Attack in the game. The amount of the boss's HP will be how much money you get from the Bounty, PLUS you can Collect even more Leaves from the boss once you get its HP down enough. That should be a tonne of Leaves. You're welcome. :)
Can't you just keep hitting No at the boss to reset the battle counter continuously? Like is there any reason to even leave the area like that vs just choosing No at the boss every 5-10 seconds or so?

Hey man, I came across this video a couple days ago and got a LOT of money out of your tactic, but now everytime I try to do it, I run into monsters like twice before reaching the boss area, even with Evasive Maneuvers on. Any idea why that is? It's incredibly annoying
BaoZakeruga 100% sure, it happens everytime I go in the Catacombs. It was working just yesterday. I don't know if it decreases the effect when I level up more or if it's glitching
Lol honestly, the Path Actions in this game are so broken that I wish some of them didn't work the way they do. Like stealing for instance. As fun as it is, it really just makes you way overpowered way too quickly, & also kind of completely unbalances what they were trying to make balanced when it comes to money in this game. Equipment was supposed to be hard to come by, but stealing makes equipment plentiful. & speaking of money, same thing w Tressa. Her abilities are just too abusable & really break the balancing of the game. I kind of wish NPC's only had consumables & the like to steal, not equipment. Also wish you couldn't just find money lying around with Tressa like that. That sort of thing should be reserved to battles only.
Something VERY important to note: You can no longer do this trick without running into encounters if you kill the King of the Sands boss.

Make sure you don't have anything equipped that increases battle probability, like Forbidden weapons.

what's your level?
sprinting adds to the encounter rate. Use Ophelia, she has a passive that allows your party to flee with more success.
BaoZakeruga H'aanit, Cyrus, and Ophelia are all at low-mid 40, and Tressa is around 25
