I chose Cyrus first because I thought he looked cool. He's definitely one of the best. One of his spells costs 1sp lets you see the targets current health/max health and 1 of their weaknesses. Such a good character.

I started the game with Olberic. He's ridiculously strong. At this point the other characters are only there to put enemies in the break state so he can YEET them.
Agreed. I'm starting out just making a lap around the map to get all the characters I'm up to Primrose as the last character to get and Olberic is so powerful already. Even enemies that aren't weak to his weapons get destroyed by his abilities.
Great video! I chose Ophilia as my main. She's a beast! I found the Scholar shrine pretty early and with her high SP, she destroys everyone man and she heals. She's a lover and a fighter!

i picked therion because i got into the arsene lupin books and i was amazed i picked a good character to start out with saved a lot of money on stones and healing items. Though i think cyrus is a better choice. But it does make me question why a few of the characters are ok traveling with a thief when there intro stories were about hating theifs lol.
My girlfriend and I bought this on release and have JUST started playing last night and are in love with it. There are so many games to get sidetracked with, you know? And far too little time to play them all. Cheers.

it isn't Cyrus who lowers Enemy Encounter Rate but the Scholar Job with 4 skills (130 JP)
However Cyrus IS the innate Scholar so there is that
