Man... I've never ever gave up, I'm 29 and not a lot of money, was very (clinically) depressed for years, no energies, no will to live.
BUT I KEPT GOING, studying for my engineering degree, working in a factory so i could earn the money i needed to live, helping my disabled brother, helping my family when in need and ofc helping my self, making sure i wouldnt pull that trigger, making sure to wait for the day i would stand up again.
The mother of all failures Is the self hate someone depressed can feel, it's always a challange, you become someone much stronger one day, or you die.
I've managed to stand-up again.
Thats a beautiful video, never ever give up, never ever sattle, never ever loose sight of a better tomorrow than today.

I was leading a really fucked up life throughout my 20s and did some fucked up stuff. I was addicted to drugs and alcohol, indulging every hedonistic distraction and wondering why I hated myself and my life, and why I was failing to realize my dreams. It all came to a head in 2020 when some major stuff went down and I had to close my business. At the time I felt so defeated but now I realize it was a major blessing that I was given that chance to get face to face with the hard truth. Now I’m 36 and I’ve really turned it around since then. In a few short years I earned a college degree, a sweet new job and side hustles, and I’ve got my addictions and binge eating disorder under control. I’m excited to keep building, too. Like Bedros says, all it takes is to flip that switch.

I'm in my thirties feeling like I'm going nowhere and I really needed to hear something like this today. I'm going to keep coming back to this video whenever I feel the need to hear someone tell me that "It's okay."
I'd been feeling really down about how I couldn't save a couple of stray pups and stray dogs in my area. And then, a couple of my fishes died too. And to not have the money to help the animals really made me feel like beating myself up for not saving enough over the years. I'm hoping to start saving more and build something amazing for the animals, and for myself in the coming months!

I lost it basically all, but I didn't accept defeat. My children need me, after two years of divorce survival, I paid my lawyer off finally. I still owe on a personal loan, but I am closing on a house after losing a house. Don't give in to the defeat, push the enemy, close with and destroy. Keep going it will be ok.

Man it’s hard. I lost my dad when I was 18 (29 now) and I’m still figuring out how to make my way in life without him. My dad was a weak man and he lost his life to it. My mom started running around on him, then left him, then he came to our house and tried killing my mom. He stabbed her in the back, and stomach until I saved my moms life. My dad took off in his truck and killed himself, and 11 years later im still trying to make my way without the guy.
Mate, that sounds rough, but as big b would say, you survived it, so that makes u a survivor. Keep fighting the good fight. Absorb as many of big b s gems as u can, head up high and keep moving forward, you got this brother.

Im 31, 32 soon, i wanna crush it, but my mental game is not there yet, it’s holding me back like a mf when it comes to money, but i am consistent in my workouts, eating well, waking up at 5 or 6 am daily..

I’m about to turn 30 my wife’s brother in law is 24 and he has a “business” and is always trying to be a alpha guy around me. I use to make good $ I took a 5$ pay cut to take a dayshift bid to stay with my kids. This have been going on for almost 10 years him trying to always be “one step ahead of me” I’m tired of it. I stop drinking and smoking weed to control my emotions but I still feel stuck. What should I do?

For women, life starts at 18. HOWEVER, for men, life starts at 30.
there is no "rebuild" your life at 30, there is just "build." At 30, men are finally in a position in life where they have enough maturity and life lessons that they can begin to control more leverage in their lives.
If you:
• Create effort based goals
• Keep you mindset in check (meditation, stoicism, keep good influences around you both in reality and digitally)
• Ditch bad habits (Porn, weed, loser friends, etc.)
Results are inevitable, brothers.

BT, most men are invisible after 30s
I'm glad the cheating/redpill was mentioned. Nearly every girl I dated cheated on me, or was some crazy broken basket case. I was the other guy in one case, unbeknowst to me, and that was painful too.
It definitely taught me the nature of women. Most of them are awful, wasteful, hedonistic, immature, and utterly spoiled by western society catering to their every whim, and protecting them from any criticism whatsoever. It also taught me to absolutely _cherish_ the one that isn't like that when you finally meet her. My wife and I have absolutely had our ups and downs, but that's life. I married the right woman, and it has been incredibly important to my own personal growth.

35, a few months away of losing my remaining money, lost my architecture and construction company during the pandemic, lost a lot of money at crypto, a cousin who was as a brother to me just died, sometimes I wonder "why the fuck am I still alive?". Anyway, if I'm losing everything its better to lose it fighting or if I manage to do things right, to recover from my losses and build a great life

LOL,30's. Try mid 50's. Word of advice: You wont realize how young you are in your 30's till you're my age. As far a as I go, if im anything like my dad I have another 30 years here and my barber who is 90 just told me the same thing about 50's as I did you about your 30's the difference now is I know its true. I probably would have a less opinion of myself if I were in worse health like many guys I know who are my age and are now living in past tense as they have done everything they are going to do and now are just taking up space on the couch
I had to drop all my friends because everyone of them is like that. For them they've done everything they're going to do and talking to them about things I want to do is impossible. I don't have a screwed up life im just basically looking for better ways to make a living than slaying away in a hot warehouse dealing with flying monkeys for coworkers everyday.
