    This has inspired me to pull my copy of this out. Dust it off and read the rules. Thanks Joe. Excellent video!

      Thanks. I think the upcoming movie has brought Napoleon to mind for a lot of people. There is a ton of game in that box - hope you enjoy!

    Your playthroughs are excellent and I am learning how to play the games I have. Much appreciated. Looking forward to the other parts of this one.

    Enemy Orders, time 27:57.....
    Manual example: Example: In the 1796 Campaign, you are rolling for 3 groups: 1 Piedmont and 2 Austrian. The Enemy has 5 Supply points. Spend 2 of his Supply points and add 2 to "ALL" his die rolls (spends 2 SP for ALL AUSTRIAN DICE ROLLS).

      Yep, I completely forgot about "the spend SP get a DRM" adjustment. Thanks.

    I forgot.......(always time 15:27)
    When a Force enters a Region containing opposing Forces,
    select one opposing Force with the lowest Skill Level (so the Poor (P) unit had to take the check).

    Congratulations for the video!!!!

    Do units in column automatically fail the shock test or am I wrong?
    Again, the test is successful if the result is less than equal to the combat value (not the Activation value).

      Yes, you're right on both statements: units in column = automatic fail. Combat value is used for the shock check (I got this right later on in the series). Thanks.

    Can I assume that the Random hit on a French occupied city does not include Nice as it was occupied at the start of play ?

    • @HexedAndCountered
      @HexedAndCountered  Год назад

      That's how I read it, with the operative term being 'occupied' since Nice is simply a French city (they're not occupying it, it's part of France). There are some areas that are not explained in the rules so I will look and then interpret as I think makes the most sense. Benefit of a solitaire game, I suppose.
