These actors were more than their televised personae. Check their screen catalogues. Yvonne De Carlo: Band of Angels, Ten Commandments and Brute Force. Raymond Burr: Rear Window, A Place in the Sun and Raw Deal (very creepy criminal).
I wonder if the charge at the oil fields was filmed for this movie or borrowed from a higher budget film. It was impressive.

Colonial adventure,very nice,except the colour.
This had to be a low point in De Carlo's career. Some good scenes though. Thanks FV

Typical, colonial era movie with the occupiers being brave and locals as scheming. Keeping that aside, it is an enjoyable movie in an exotic location.
