Thank you for the tour of the museum and the beautiful dollhouse. I’m traveling to the Netherlands for the first time this April and I’m very excited. This might have to be one of the sights.
You're welcome! How wonderful you will be traveling here soon. It's one of several wonderful dollshouses to see In the Netherlands. Whatever the sights you will visit, I hope you'll enjoy it!
Thank you for the wonderful visit - it was almost as if I was there in person! Unfortunately, missed going The Hague to see the babyhouse in the museum there. If you ever visit can you please do a tour? I'm sure everyone would love see 💞
My pleasure! I will definitely do that next time I'm there. I actually visited last summer and shot some video and photos as well, but my camera was acting up and I couldn't use most of it unfortunately. So yes, there will be a next visit with a hopefully working camera 😃
Thank you for the tour of this wonderful house!! It is always such an inspiration to see good, quality work and attention to detail. I am adding this to my list of things to see someday! Also, feel free to show us the sights from your beautiful country any time you wish!
Thank you Dana! Yes the maker of this house certainly knew what he was doing. So much detail and parctically everything made by himself. Some of the sights in my country (or abroad if I travel somewhere) may appear from time to time I'm sure.
Thank you Lynne! Yes, I think they must have been. But the odd thing is, although you see these drying racks both in the old cabinet houses and in the museum houses, you never see the system to lower those poles. So no poles with hooks, or ever stepladders to get up there. It's strange.
@@MakeMiniatures Flying monkeys or giants perhaps? 😉. So many mysteries! I just found your channel and watched 46 videos so far! I very much am enjoying watching!
@@MakeMiniatures I just found out some interesting information while reading up on dollhouses. Those are not racks for drying. They are rollers for ironing linens.
@@LynneWright That's interesting. But I don't think they are for ironing. Would you mind sharing where you found the information? I'd love to read that too.
wonderful!
Many thanks!
I am lost for words! To say Daan has a wide range of skills is such an understatement! What amazing work. Thank you so much for sharing this.
My pleasure! Yes you're right, the work he did is quite incredible. Thank you Linda! 😀
Thank you for sharing this piece of art, it is definitely art. The detail and craftsmanship is amazing to see. 🙋♀️
My pleasure 😊 Glad you enjoyed the tour.

Thanks so much for the lovely video! It is hard to believe the furniture and accent pieces are miniatures! Amazing.
Yes, impressive isn't it? Glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you so much Judy! I hope you'll be able to get back here one day, there are several beautiful dollhouses to see throughout the country.
THIS WAS A WONDERFUL VIDEO! THANK YOU FOR SHARING!!!
You are so welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed it. 😃
❤. The laundry poles were probably moved by using a set of hooks on poles. Later homes may have used a pulley system.

That sounds plausible 😆 Thank you for watching my videos, Lynne!

Hoi josje, heel leuk gedaan, complimenten
Hoi Elly, dank je wel! 😃
Love it Josje🤗 I would love to go there some day . Thank you for sharing .
I hope you will! I'll meet you there 😉
beautiful!
I was so impressed that one person made all of that. I loved the copper especially.
Beautiful but they need to do some housekeeping. Clean the crystal and straighten the candle before the house burns down. Gosh.
Hahaha! I think in museums these pieces are cleaned once a year. Or less if they don't have the staff for it. 😃
