Thanks for taking us with you really enjoyed walking round with you. Unfortunately my wish list grows and grows the more time I spend with you and looking at your wonderful collection. Looking forward to next time. x
I can’t thank you enough for that fabulous viewing. It saved me from an expensive flight from Australia! Not really, but it was wonderful to see so many incredible artisans’ work.
You're welcome Linda. Yes for you it is such a long -and expensive- trip! I was amazed to see several Australian sellers there. I can only imagine the amount of luggage they have had to bring with them. Not that they have to carry it on their 17-hour flight, 😂 but still....
I thought it would be fun to show that. Two years of work have gone into that miniature. Not only making the piece but also researching and figuring out how to make those shoes dance. And the piano music was just another piece of the complex puzzle.
I loved everything from your video, such beautiful things. By the way I finished reading the sequel to the miniaturist, I really enjoyed it thanks for recommending it. Xxx
Many thanks for taking me on that walk around. There is too much to mention but my personal passion is tiny stitching, crochet and lace. The work you shared is outstanding an absolute delight to see 🌸
Thank you Alison. I love miniature embroidery and other needlework, so it's a joy for me to see the Miniature Needlework Society there and of course the work of some needlework artisans. I'm glad you enjoyed it too!
Oh Josje- thank you for showing so much magnificent work! "The stuff that dreams are made of". So excited to see more, and especially to see your purchases, as your houses are so beautiful.
You're welcome Coby. Yes, I'm always amazed by the ideas and creativity of so many miniaturists. So much fun to see what they come up with! I have a little bit more to show of the fair, I'll show that next week, as well as what I have brought home from the show.
Just catching up with your videos. Thank you so much for showing us around KDF…it is on my bucket list to visit (but first I will try for Chicago - not so far away 😉)
You're welcome Barb, good to hear you enjoyed it. I hope you'll be able to travel to London for the fair in the near future. Oh, you should go to the Chicago show! Chicago is on my bucket list! One day...😉
Oops, missed your comment, sorry! You're welcome Sergey. Yes, we all miss seeing you at the shows. This whole mess is not doing anyone any good. Let's hope it will end soon. 👋
It was yesterday and today. The next one is in December, the Christmas edition I believe. Next weekend, Saturday and Sunday May 25th and 26th, is the German fair 1 zu 12 Die Messe, in Rheda. 😃
Can anyone help? I'm trying to find the maker of the stag head doll, but no matter how I enter "minimonkeys 'Spirit of the Forest'" all I'm getting is images of a baby sling!
Hi Suki, the "Spirit of the Forest" doll was made by Sybille Schwandt-Lang of Minimonkeys. Her wonderful website is www.minimonkeys.de Hope that helps! 😃
Travels with Josje are always fun. Thank you. J

Nice! The patio and beach umbrellas down in Florida don’t last long at all. I need a new one to😊
I think these will last a very long time. 😉 A beach umbrella would be a nice addition to the chair!

You're welcome Maroulio. I always enjoy discovering the work of good artists. And there were a few gems to be found there!

When and where is the next dollhouse festival in London?
