9:30 this is known as a derecho, a line of severe thunderstorms. The lightning occurred not because of the dust, but because it was a line of severe thunderstorms. This was not a dust storm, but a line of severe thunderstorms with a gust front.
Glad you pointed that out because I was thinking the same thing. Even if someone didn't know that the winds were from a derecho, it's obvious that the wind isn't rotating. There are several glaring errors in this compilation.
Illinois is definitely tornado country. One of the deadliest of all time, the Tri-State Outbreak, was there. I grew up in Missouri and both states got hit a whole lot. Definitively part of tornado alley.
I was in north Biloxi when hurricane Katrina hit. I wanted to stand against the wind like I had seen weather annoucers do on tv. As I was walking out into the street, I saw someones entire roof roll down the street like a tumbleweed. I was like "Yup, thats how people die..." and walked back into the house 😅
7:07 May be a nitpick but, this is incorrect. The strongest tornado that occurred on the night of March 2 was an EF4 that destroyed western parts of Cookeville Tennessee. This EF4 is overshadowed by the Nashville tornado because the Nashville tornado went through a large city. Yes, the Nashville tornado was also pretty devastating and destructive- It just wasn't the strongest.
Living in Florida for 4 years now, I've become a more patient driver. The majority of the cammers could have avoided the incident if they didn't have rage issues. Lighten up, people!

9:56 I'm in the UK and that dust storm completely covered my clean car in crap! We had about 3 days where every day there was more dust landing on anything you had just dusted off.
10:00 mins. I live just outside Bristol in the South West of England, and I remember seeing it all over the cars one morning when my husband and I went to get our car out of the garage. It has happened before, so as soon as we saw it we guessed what it was. Sand from the Sahara. We also noticed it was on the outside window ledges, created a film on the windows of the house, and also we could see it on the leaves of our garden plants as well as on the surface of the water in the bird bath. It was pretty much everywhere, really. Later, when we looked at the local news online that we discovered it was indeed sand, and it had effected a very broad area of the South West. Amazing to think how far it travels. But when you consider that it is that sand being carried across the Atlantic that is the main reason for the Amazon forest being fertile, it's journey to the UK seems like nothing really.
I already thought someone had stolen a few minutes from me or that I was in another dimension during that first of the 10 videos. But luckily I wasn't the only one who started at number 9 😂

13:00 this is a tornado not a dust devil. This is a supercellular tornado, and you can even see the inflow into the tornado.
Can kinda see suction vortices. The motion of this tornado is too violent for it to be a dust devil anyways.
