Same here i bought the HK 45 as my first handgun and now i want the p30 L for my high cap 9, im from NJ where we have a 15 round mag cap so its a good option for me.
That's an awesome gun too, you should check out our video on it ruclips.net/video/4mnYaUE35TM/видео.html it's an older one, but its still pretty good. Thanks for watching and please spread the word.
+Alabama Arsenal I've been wanting the HK 45C (compact) for a while now. I absolutely love it! Carried it yesterday and today! Great piece that fits nicely in my hands and easy for me to conceal. I've also been scoping out the HK P30L and plan on adding it to my HK family as well.
Ya I plan on it, but I don't even think they're shipping yet. Plus I'm trying to get a P30L, saw your video and I need one!, and a KSG, and trying to finish getting all the parts for my G36 build, but its definitely toward the top of the list. I help out at a gun shop and I told a large distributor to let me know when she actually gets one in. I can let you know when I hear something. Have you heard anything about an actual delivery date?
I own the FNX 45 and it is absolutely a sweet gun! It comes with 3 magazines each having a15 round capacity (45 rounds)and it is ambidextrous as well which is great for me since I am a lefty. However, I also like these HK's as well. I plan on getting the HK 45 compact for my conceal and carry weapon.
militantx0660 The FNK45 is a great gun, we have a review of the FNP45 tactical which is almost the same gun you should check it out if you get a chance ruclips.net/video/XZM38DvDFLo/видео.html Thanks for watching and please spread the word.
Oh we where trying to do a trick shot with the hk 45 but the only one that I could get with that gun is a lookaway shot, which is hard to capture with just one camera. Imagine you and your buddy are at the range he is standing to your left, you take aim then look at your buddy while still looking away from the target you pull the trigger and hit the target.
I love it. Bought the sp89 NIB years ago and value has just skyrocketed. I have a clone I typically use the pack in so I don't beat on the original but the CA clone shoots nothing like it. Ejects all over the place, feeding is unreliable, etc. The real HK eats all ammo I give it, but sometimes with subs with my ti-rant 9 on it it'll eject up into the area between the bolt and receiver. When a case gets lodged up there its a bitch to get out in the field
+Jonathan Frost Hks are great! they need to make some more guns Ive reviewed about everything they've made. One of the only ones I haven't done is the P7 i need to do a video on it, amazing pistol. Thanks for watching and please spread the word.
To name a few; Hk P9, Hk Mk23, Hk 45 CT, HK MP5N, and the HK 416. I would venture to say that if we're using selection by SOCOM to determine quality of firearms manufacturers I believe that more models by HK have been chosen than any other manufacturer, probably any other 2 combined. Not trying to knock Sig some of there stuff is nice, I'm actually eager to give a MK25 a shot. But you should really give HK another chance many people will attest to the fact that they are really a cut above.
Yes they have the SIG 226 9mm MK25 and HK 416 but as far as a 45 pistol they use the HK45 C with 10 rd extended mags and it is officially now known as the MK24 for all of JSOC and used by SEAls . Both pistols are awesome and they are issued both . I love HK and SIG . I have more H&Ks but my SIG 229-1 E2E 9mm is a amazing pistol and I love SIgs SRT . I was going to get the MK25 but really liked the E2E 229-1 more with all the extra features and its a better Size to EDC with the same 15 rd
Hi. Tritium is not illegal in germany, H3 watches, night sights and small marker are legal. I want to buy my first gun for sportshooting in the near future. I am between the HK45 and the Usp 45. 10 rounds are a little low for an combat pistol. Best wishes from Germany.
Juat wanted to say tganks for you advise. I just put money down on a HK45. I had to pay a little more than I wanted (SSE fee) too but begger can't be choosers. And the HK rebate helped to pay most of that. I will next buy a HK45C via PPT. But I will have to get rid of one of my current pistols (G19 gen 4 or SIG 1911 Nitron woth rail) fund the HK45C. I AM SO HAPPY TGAT I got to getvthe HK45. I was going to settle and get the USP. But lukily I got one. And tge resale in California is amazing, BUT I WILL NEVER SALE MY HK45!
3 badass HK guns right there. I currently own a mark23, P7M13 in hard chrome and an HK45 just like the one in your video. You can't go wrong with HK. How do you like the USP match? I have an opportunity to pick up a Elite in 45ACP.
Noel Murillo First off, buy the elite, if you don't want it Ill buy it from you. Those used to be fairly common to come across but now that I'd like one to complete my special edition USP lineup they're like hens teeth. The match is very nice, In my opinion the best shooting of the USP lineup, but getting so collectible that I don't shoot mine much. P7M13 is a sweet gun, another one on my list, but they seen to be getting more expensive by the day. I have a p7 PSP and a regular P7, but that's not like the M13. Let me know if you pick up that elite and what you think of it. Thanks for watching and please spread the word.
Enjoyed the video, but you have the O-ring thing wrong. The O-ring is NOT there to delay the barrel in its movement to the rear or any such thing. It is there to ensure consistent lockup each and every time the gun returns to battery. It keeps the barrel in the same relationship to the slide from shot to shot. In this way, it helps to improve consistency, and thus, the overall precision of the weapon.
It's terrible that you had a bad experience with an HK, but I can assure you thats not the norm and while you are correct the seals are using a p226 variant as a defensive handgun it's not instead oh an HK. Special Ops select firearms for various missions then choose them at the time of the mission to be mission specific. The Sig is considered a defensive gun where as the MK24 (HK 45 CT) is an offensive choice as is the MK23. Over time significantly more HKs have been chosen by SOCOM than sigs
Agreed that any good shooter can do well with any gun, but at least in my opinion the ergonomics and the o-ring put the HK45 far above the rest of the competition. If you've never shot one you really need to. Thanks for watching and please spread the word.
Hi just found your channel. How does the HK45 accuracy compare to the Mark 23? Trying to decide which one to use as a home defense and woods gun. Thanks
The MK23 is far more accurate, it's ridiculous, probably the most accurate polymer pistol of all time. Now that being said, It's huge, insanely expensive, and the Hk 45, while not as accurate as the MK23, is very accurate and will more than likely do everything that you need it to for far less money and in a package that is much easier to tote around, at least in my opinion. Thanks for watching and please spread the word.
Faster? That's a shooting issue dependent on the person. Cleaner? What are you shooting, snap caps? The Hk's mag release is located in the same position, but is also ambidextrous.
Ya, FNs are nice guns compared to most but I'd have to say that Hks are just a cut above just about everything out there. And yes the Hk 45 and the P30 are almost exactly the same gun, just with the P30 you can change the side panels on the grip too. Thanks for watching and please spread the word.
Congratulations on finding HK they truly are some of the finest firearms made. It has always seemed to me that they could get a couple more rounds in the magazines too, but i prefer the ergonomics over a couple more bullets. At least with the P30 you've got 15. Thanks for watching and stay tuned we've got some more Hk videos that will be coming up soon and please spread the word.
Alabama Arsenal I'm looking at purchasing my 1st HK. 2 Models have my attention the P30 and P30L. Mainly using it for range time and home defense. What would you recommend?
Thomas Kishman II If you don'y plan on using it for every day carry, I'd suggest the P30L. It's longer barrel will make it more fun to shoot at the range and help with accuracy. Plus if all your doing is keeping it in the nightstand that barrel shouldn't get in the way. Of the bunch the P30L is my favorite to take to the range. thanks for watching and please spread the word.
Phew I have to ignore the glocklamists as they have nothing to do with this video. What I'm wondering is how it compares to the USP .45 so this video is helpful, thank you. You should read from Larry Vickers (fmr. CAG and co-designer) why the mag capacity was purposely set to 10.
I am buying one soon. Where I live you cant get your hands on one in gun stores or ranges. Im debating the HK45 black and the Lipseys full FDE. Do you know if it the same FDE color on the HK tactical two tone? Also considering the HK45C I love the looks of both. Does the HK45 give you rubbing issues that from that trigger channel? Thanks for your videos.
I don't have any problems with the trigger channel that's never been an issue for me. The FDE is all supposed to be the same color, all the polymer and the slides are supposed to match on the full FDE. Now after saying that I've seen enough guns and enough FDE to know that there are always some slight variations. Let me know what you decide and how you like it. thanks for watching.
I agree that the glock 21 has some good features, one being that the kriss 25 round magazine fits in it giving it way more rounds than any other 45. I like my glock 21 a lot, but overall for me the hk 45 is a bit better, but to each his own and whatever works best for you. Thanks for watching.
The HK45 is the full size, the compact is called the HK45 compact. Hk has always been really creative with their names. Both are great guns and the compact will accept the full size magazines which makes it nice if you're fortunate enough to own both. Thanks for watching and please spread the word.
Thanks for the comment and I'm with you, while I like both guns if I had to choose I'd take the better ergonomics of the HK45. Thanks for watching and please spread the word.
Would you trade a FNX-45 Tactical with Leupold Delta Point Pro and a Walther PPQ M2 Navy for a Maritime finish MK23 with Eagle Camo bag LNIB?? I'm tempted..
Yes, the way I would look at it the 2 guns you have are relatively easy to get MK23s aren't. but thats me. Thanks for watching and please spread the word.
Thanks for the reply, I am a big HK addict and the Mark 23 is the holy grail I have yet to own. Ive also never given up 2 awesome guns for 1 though lol. Love your channel brother, thx.
The last trade I made was a Walther P99 varient 1 with a 3 digit serial number (609) NIB for a NIB Hk USP Tactical in the Grey Eagle case. I don't regret that one though I do miss the Walther from time to time. I think the USP needs to be reunited with its big brother lol
I'll give you the fact that the hk45 isn't perfect, and I never recommend that a new gun buyer or someone who is buying for a practical use buy an HK, they just cost too much. But like you said it's the most accurate 45 out of the box on par with quality 1911s. I think that says a lot about the overall quality. How do you like your MP5K? Thanks for watching and please spread the word.
Tritium is not illegal in Germany. You can buy night sights and watches with Tritium. Hk does not sell guns with night sights to civilians in Germany. I cant decide between the HK45 and the USP45.
I just picked up a P30 myself, I wanted an "L" but was only able to find a regular, but I went ahead and got it because I am a little worried about the current political atmosphere.
Good review and lots of useful info. Maybe on your next video you might want to keep your finger off the trigger and outside of the trigger guard. Safety First :-)
Ill try and work some more specific stats in future videos. In the next month we're going to be doing a podcast that will go deeper into the details and specifics of the guns. It will give us the chance to go longer for the people who want to know all about whatever gun we may be looking at. RUclips is great but we're always trying to cut the time down on the videos. Thanks for watching and please spread the word.
the hk45 has muzzle flip, has a problem with the slide not retracting fully when firing quickly with most suppressors, has no tactile feedback in trigger reset, the reset is long, DA pull is crap, bore axis is high, and finish wears off the slide lock and hammer almost instantly upon use. It is the most accurate out of the box 45 I've shot though and is on par with quality 1911s
To be honest if they had updated the USP line with STANDARD rail instead of their useless proprietary rail and up the capacity to 15 rounds like the FNX that has a smaller mag and thinner as well why not? If FNX can get 15 why not HK? I don't like HK attitude towards customers with their higher than you attitude doesn't help them and not just civilian but LEO/Mil customers to. I have personally seen this attitude with the Military on the MK 24 USP model before the HK45 Tac model they told the Military No we will not change the rail deal with it and I love HK but man it hurts them with their NO COMPROMISE attitude . I dont want people to think I am bashing I love dream HK their products are some of the best but they don't update nothing. Case in point HK USP Expert line they could have updated then a standard pic rail but they didn't want to change the molds for the lowers or should I say spend money but I believe a new mold is around $50,000-$75,000 a drop in the bucket for what they will sell the updated versions for like I said great company but giving customers what they want not really they fell seriously short on this gun capacity of 10rnds ? HK loves 10rnds for 45acp for some reason?
I am fairly certain that if you don't know what I am talking about and don't understand the reference you should go argue with someone else. In addition, no the mag releases are different. I put a 1000 rounds down range a month in training and competition, I might have a little bit of experience in what I commented about.
Thanks a lot, appreciate it and glad to have you on board!
Amen, I've always admired your taste in guns
Hk my biggest addiction...thanks for your ump videos it helped me...

On the USP you can change the mag release out with a larger on. Almost twice as large. Go to HK parts net. Cost about 25.00.

my my how far we've come
Thxs for the vid..luv my HK45!

I find that the HK 45 is more shootable for me I honestly feel myself having to focus and concentrate much more to be as proficient with the Mark 23.
Faster? That's a shooting issue dependent on the person. Cleaner? What are you shooting, snap caps? The Hk's mag release is located in the same position, but is also ambidextrous.
Well that was a respectful retort to my rude aggressive comment. Well played sir.

I am buying one soon. Where I live you cant get your hands on one in gun stores or ranges. Im debating the HK45 black and the Lipseys full FDE. Ya I know and thats a great upgrade, we are just trying to review them as they come stock. Thanks for watching and please spread the word.
Tritium is not illegal in Germany. You can buy night sights and watches with Tritium.
Hk does not sell guns with night sights to civilians in Germany.
I cant decide between the HK45 and the USP45.
I know the hk45 mag says 10rds but its actually more like eleven, I keep 11rds plus one in the chamber in my hk45.
Nice shootin.
the seals standard issue rifle is a H&K.... their handgun is a Sig.
is the hk 45 the compact one or full size one
I just picked up a P30 myself, I wanted an "L" but was only able to find a regular, but I went ahead and got it because I am a little worried about the current political atmosphere.
Good review and lots of useful info. Maybe on your next video you might want to keep your finger off the trigger and outside of the trigger guard. Safety First :-)

Great review! At the end of all my days, I have a beautiful women laying to the left of me and a H&K 45 to my right. Life is good!
You're a lucky man!
Alabama Arsenal Thanks!
do some stats e.g. range RPM semi-auto
those stats would make your videos better
I wish the HK had more of a higher capacity, atleast 13 rounds like the glock 21.
Man I appendix carry the MK23 whats the problem LOL!
To be honest if they had updated the USP line with STANDARD rail instead of their useless proprietary rail and up the capacity to 15 rounds like the FNX that has a smaller mag and thinner as well why not?

Put a new battery in yer smoke detector dude
Cheap gun, my USP45 tactical is much better
Another DA/SA boat anchor. Glock 21 is hands down a better fighting pistol. Faster, cleaner, and with a magazine release where it should be.
