- Taran Butler & Robert Vogel are back for a rematch in the fastest duel shooting steel! They even break their own records from the last match! Taran Butler & Robert Vogel are both World Champion, Grand Master shooters. They have both been featured as experts on the History channel's TV show "Top Shot." Taran Butler specializes in 3-gun (pistol/rifle/shotgun) competitions. And Robert Vogel specializes in pistol.

Taran just has Jedi skills with a blaster. Fantastic to watch. That is consistent dedication and years of training.
The huge difference is Taran was shooting from the hip without looking at the front sight and he was very accurate. Respect to both 👏 🙌 💯💯😁😁👍👍
And on home turf on targets he’s shot at a million times.

I think from this distance, 99% of it is actually very easy. If you focus your gaze at each target, your body is naturally able to hold an object and point it straight at where you are looking with incredible accuracy. It can also time the pulling of the trigger to sync with lining up the target-again, all basically effortless.
What’s wild is none of that matters. If that last instant when you actually squeeze the trigger back far enough to fire the shot throws off the alignment of the gun, it’s a miss every time. So no matter how coordinated you are or how talented your brain might be at processing information, you will never come close to shooting the way guys like Taran can until you are able to understand a single motion, on a single finger, on just 1 of your hands at the level they do
That guy's one handed shooting without looking down the sights is insane. I wonder how many rounds he had to shoot in order to perfect that style of shooting!

You can't see it on camera but Taran even keeps his eyes closed so he can feel the shots leaving the gun
Enjoyed watching two pistol champs work their magic....if I ever got my hands on that Sand Viper it would have a stipulation in my will that it could never be sold 😊
Makes sense; two hand draw is slower but faster with follow up shots

ikr :O i've seen some insane things in my time - from a baby being cut out of her mothers belly in Peru by villagers (to save the baby as the mother died) to visiting a camel slaughterhouse in Jedda and the way they butcher them for religion (automate saws chop off their legs first so they are just a slowly dying torso) - but this is INSANE.

Bob Vogel is using his Glock 34 Gen3 with his own custom trigger job, but factory barrel.
Taran Butler is using his custom Glock 17 Combat Master.

You have to have your own property, rural, to be able to go through thousands of rounds to get as perfect as these two. Ranges are 1hr limit once per day for $30. Get land, they're not making that anymore.
Idk anything about guns but at the range I was looking at to start shooting, they only allow one round per every 3 seconds. So you can’t really practice speed
I can go to my range everyday all day long if I want to and shoot as fast as I want to for $300 per year.
Every range I currently go to does not allow rapid fire.

@@gtdfirearmsllc4759 he brings the gun to eyeline and builds a 2-handed grip (freestyle). You should try that with a hit in .7 and a grip thats good enough to control following .12 splits.

If you slow down the video to a real slow speed, you'll see Jerry Mic. fire first after the buzzer and knock down the little plates and go out there and set them back up for you before your first shot.
Vogel is drawing and aiming taren is doing it at the hip. Vogel has an advantage evertime
Jessica you should include vid of you with your times to give a comparison of a more human time for these courses of fire.
