Great run. Amazingly difficult and diverse course. 3 gun is fun already, they turned that course up to 11! Those shooting tree wheels are tough when you get them moving. Well done.
The physical aspect of this is great... Precision shooting when there's sweat in your eyes and your muscles are burning/shaking really makes you have to focus and be efficient.
George Mink Not when your adrenaline is pumping, your heart is pounding, and you have to control your breathing from lugging those weights in order to get a solid shot on the target.
The flash is actually a lens flare from the scope on the rifle. The eyepiece is in direct sunlight and the rifle is pointed to the left far enough to refract sunlight onto the wall. Just like in all the old cowboy movies.

Ma'am, you are a good shot! Great job! Folks commenting have to catch a grip here and understand what they're watching. Marksmanship and the test of stamina therein through diverse combat scenarios (like dragging a load or walking a gauntlet off a raised platform-totally understand that). There is training for clearing buildings and engaging combatants while working in teams or squads, but that is not the test or competition here. A marksman, her weapons, the targets and adjusting to different conditions while shooting. Simple and fast moving. This was so interesting!!
I’ve been watching your channel for years and finally bought a Glock 34 gen 5 partially due to your channel and really digging the longer pistol after shooting a g19x and 17.
When I read that this was in Fort Bragg I was astonished for a second cuz I thought that meant Fort Bragg, CA. Then I saw uncucked AR's and normal mags and realized it can't be because freedom like that only exists in America.
@J Lau No. Ronald Reagan as the governor at the time, outlawed open carry because Black Panthers were doing it. That's the only conservative California gun control due to racism, rest was the Democrats.
Wow! three gun is a Serious event, That was some dam good shooting, even when you had some misses, you keep sending down range and didnt let it bother you. Great job sister!!
I'm too am exhausted just from watching! Thanks for the virtual workout! Whoever designed those courses of fire is obviously quite fit and expects their shooters to be so too. As always, great shooting Jessica!
Wow! That looks fun. I have shot alot of USPSA but that is on another level. Did stuff like that at Bragg but that was 18 years ago. Great job and good shooting!
Wow, that's quite a run. I would like to ask you a question that this video prompted though. I see a lot of 3-gun shooters encountering something like a stove pipe malfunction in their stages. It's a much higher rate of malfunction than I would normally expect, and given how important time is with such competitions, it's surprising to me that I see so many stoppages. Can you speak a little bit to your own approach to those stoppages at a process level? That is, what do you do after a match to address the issue? Do you do any work to analyze, diagnose, and prevent such stoppages in the future? If so, what sort of work goes into trying to reduce those stoppages?
Hi Aaron, you generally see more stovepipes & malfunctions with 3-gunners or competitive shooters, because we generally reload our own ammo, and tinker with our guns, in the pursuit of soft/flat/low recoil shooting.... it's an experimental art form! :) Factory pistol ammo tends to run "hot" resulting in more recoil, which causes a longer delay for getting back on target for followup shots. I was shooting .40 minor (low recoil) out of a Glock 24 for the last 3 years, but I just got a customized TTI Combat Master Glock 17L, so I've been trying to create a 9mm load that works with this new pistol. Assessing the problem can be a process of elimination. For example, before I adjust the powder drop on my reloading machine, I'll try replacing the recoil spring in my Glock, to a lighter spring. This might fix the issue I was having with stovepipes. If it does not fix the issue, I'll try increasing the powder drop by adding .10 (a tenth) of a grain of powder to my recipe. For example, I'll increase my powder drop from 2.9 up to 3 grains. Once I find a winning combination, I stick to it. Nobody's ammo or guns will run perfectly 100% of the time, but we are all striving to be as competitive with our gear as possible. There is a net positive in "time saved" with all the customizations in ammo and guns, that outweighs the inevitable jams & malfunctions. Hope that gives you something to think about. Thanks for watching! :) ~Jess
Jessica Hook I thought some of the stove pipes and or jams were set up. Like they set up that way when your changing weapons so you have to clear them.
Nice event, however the tactics especially in the shoot house leave a lot to be desired such as running into a room with 3 "bad guys" and engaging from there. Stage may be designed that way, I am not by any way knocking your shooting cause you did great, just wish 3-gun would incorporate sound tactics, train like you fight
I was thinking same thing. Like wow I could never do what she does. But I know not to expose myself with C&C. Plus clearing a corner... but as someone said train for 3gun. Not combat.
Cross Gun, i would have loved to do that kind of shooting when i was younger. Living in a communist state our options are very limited and under attack every day. NY Great Video
Small tip that's easy to implement and will save you time shooting from the car: keep your foot pushing the door to max so it doesn't swing back and you have a stable platform.
Very impressive. Your pistol and shotgun are strong points. I do think the rifle can improve a bit but overall extremely impressive. Your maneuverability is great, focus spot on. Little hesitation on targets left to right but you would smoke 99.9 percent of anyone I know. Great job!
Hi All, just a bit concerned of the PERSON Standing in-front of the Shooter at 1.48s... also the UD at at 8.47.. yes it was down range so guess it was ok.. the person was disturbing at 1.48s... I would of?????
Derek Eklund the “UD” at 00:08:47 was definitely not only a close call, the way she was holding it she could have easily done a point blank on the wall. But also that poor gun being macked against the brick.
I saw that guy too and couldn't believe it. That's how accidents happen. Great shooting! My heart was pounding and all tensed up through the whole video.
The incident at 8:47 looks and sounds more like a bullet impacting that was shot from behind. There is a slight delay between the flash (dust kicked up from impact of the projectile?) and the quieter sound of the shot....
Great video honestly, I don't know how anyone can say it was a accidental discharge it clearly doesn't look anything like a muzzle flash. I think people are missing the point its not just about running around and shooting, You need to have so good endurance and still be able to aim correctly and be efficient. It's much easier said than done.
Awesome, AWESOME, job! Incredible course of fire, malfunction clears, spot on! Very well done to the highest level. Totally respect the skill and effort!
I think homophobic is a bad word for this... a phobia typically describes a fear of something and that shirt doesn't show fear it shows a dislike of homosexuality but not fear of it... But yea I would say he doesn't like gay people but that is his right just like a gay man has the right to not like pussy...
This is a killer course of Fire. I think what would make it more interesting and realistic is if the competitors went in blind I had no idea where the targets were what they were going to be doing anything you to show up and go. I think under that scenario you'll find out who the truly gifted Shooters are.
I do appreciate having a local range/ store down the street, but I'd really like to do more active and more advanced practice like this. Your a badass!

Great run. Amazingly difficult and diverse course. 3 gun is fun already, they turned that course up to 11!

Well done.
My first three gun experience can be summed with “what can possibly go wrong?”

Ha! LOL tired? Check out Tactical Games and you'll understand what tired is...this is a warm up. Great shooting tho
Many congratulations on your successes, obviously well deserved. The training you had to have put into this is impressive.
Great job. That shit looks tough. She is stronger than the average bear for sure
I love the little shuffle step all 3 gun and pistol competition shooters do as the advance down the stages. Idk why or how but everyone does it.
You’re inspiring and amazing Jessica. Great job!! Keep up the great work.
I've never seen such skill and dedication rolled into a clip like this. BRAVO!!
That looks like so much fun. Makes me wanna do 3 gun while I can still move heavy objects

Man, how I would love to run a stage like this! I've run a couple of USPSA matches, but never anything like this. This looks like it is a ton of fun!
Great shooting and excellent camera work! Compliments to the shooter and the cameraman.
When did 3 gun turn into CrossFit?
NoBrakes23 I believe the weights and sand bag were added to put fatigue on the arms.

Solve a Rubik's Cube then load it into a clay thrower and blast it! @Al Castill

Damn I want to say good job but that’s almost offensive considering how good you really are. Great job
