This is the first time that I hear about someone that is happy to recive a diagnosis. I taught I am the only one. I have multiple sclerosis and it took me one year to be taken seriously by doctors. I had clear simptomes but every doctor I went to said I'm faking. As simptomes at first I had extreme dizziness and numbness of the right limbs. At some point I was half semi paralised and still I was not taken seriously. My mom managed to make possible for me to have an MRI scan and after that some doctor realized that I had fking 11 brain lesions. After that I finally received the treatment I needed and now I only have some small problems left. I can t thank enough my mom..

as soon as i herd hashimotos i froze because i at one point had it as well, when the doctor felt a mysterious lump near my thyroid gland i had to get an ultrasound on my neck, then blood work. the blood work was positive forhashimotos and they couldn't figure out what the bump was so i got a biopsy. two weeks later i got the results back and i had thyroid cancer! there was no pediatric doctors near me so we had to travel 2 hours every time to go to the hospital for more blood work more ultrasounds and more biopsy's. its out now but it was scary and theres not much online about people under 18 with these issues.

My best wishes go to her. Also don't worry: if you do have hypothyroidism/hashimoto's thyrodis, don't panic please!!! You can get well in no time. Mine is hereditary, meaning I'll have it my whole life, but I'm fine living like that. I'm just so upset she had to go all these years not knowing what it was.

This is serious. I don't know anyone who had this, but my spouse who had Celiac disease suffered their entire life with the disease.
This is not "oh I just have a gluten allergy and I just feel a little bit sick"
My spouse lived in agony, every bite to eat causing horrible pain.
The worst was that they were told that it would eventually end one way: terminal colon cancer.
That's what exactly what happened. Death from colon cancer a few years after we married.
Their sister however suffered from Chrohns disease, the rest of her life lived in pain as well.

I had stomach aches from 7 years old until 12 years old. It was all from anxiety. Everyday I had terrible stomach pains. When I was 13 I found out I was gluten free and somewhere in those years found out I had OCD, ADHD, anxiety, and acid reflux. I also tested positive for hoshimotos. It hasn't kicked in yet because of me being gluten free and being young.

I am only 15 and I was diagnosed with Hasimotos when I was 13 or 14, but I have had it for a lot longer. I am also supposed to be 5’8” but I am nearly 5’. When I clicked on this video I was not expecting to see that she had Hasimotos and that we have the same symptoms, they didn’t know what was wrong with me(why I am so tiny) and a couple other things too and so they decided to get lab work and when it came back that me TSH was well over 100 (the normal level is .27-4.0) they immediately knew my thyroid was not working. And So far I have had a struggle trying to find the right dose mine is currently almost two times higher than some adults I know.

My grandma died From over dosing. And it’s been hard for me, because I never seen her for 5 years. My grandpa died from Lung cancer. I never get to see one of my aunts. And then I deal with hard battles with life. Your not the only one!🙂☺️😊😄😁😗😙😘🥰

I have the exact opposite. I have Graves Disease which is a form of autoimmune HYPERthyroidism. Fortunately my case is mild and currently in remission.

I'm so happy that they found out the disease on time. I guess disappointments are blessings in disguise. Glad that everything turned out well.

I did this once and I cried at night rlly hard that my sister heard she then texted my mom to come and get me. I told my mom about what I did but then days later she brushed it off I even told her very private things but she still brushed it off like it was nothing. I guess she thought I was begging for attention since I am somewhat selfish. Since then I dont tell her anything anymore I'm always avoiding her.

oml, i finally found someone with the same problems as me. except, the doctors never diagnosed me with anything so.. yeah. hasnt gotten better for me, but i got used to all the shots they give me everytime we rush to the hospital. i help myself but then my mum tries to help and makes it worse. the pains also make me eat less so im underweight and obviously way too skinny.

I’m tired of going to the doctor and having false hope that whatever medicine and diet they give me will work. I’m tired of my normal life before this started being on pause. I’m tired of being in pain everyday. I’m tired of not being able to enjoy meals because of the anxiety and anticipation of the pain that will come after. I don’t have anything life threatening (I don’t think, I still haven’t been diagnosed properly). The only thing getting me through this is God. I have faith that He has a plan for me so I’m going to keep pushing through. I believe that at his perfect timing, he’ll heal me.
