I`ve been trying to find beginner friendly tutorial about render passes and how to use them in real example/compositing shot - and finally found it!!! Thanks a lot, now I understand the process and usage! BLENDER bless you!
Awesome! Glad it was helpful Gatis! Thanks for taking the time to comment!
Ooh, loved that tip about the mix node of the sky color! Tip of the day!
Haha thanks! I use that technique quite often when I don't want to render out a separate mist pass. Works really well and so simple!
Woah! This is really nice! Thanks for the tips!
Thanks Jon! You are welcome!
this is amazing
Thanks! Appreciate the feedback!
This is a good one. Subscribed immediately. Can you please do short tutorial combining render layers like this with after effects
HI Afrikaas. Thanks so much for the support on our channel! I have several of these kind of videos on the channel. Or do you mean specifically this shot?
super duper cooper
Why does no one cover compositing volume passes?
great to see Blender Comp tutorials. Do you have any experiences with Natron? Would be great to see a comparison video at some point
Thanks Pipeliner. I don't have any experience with Natron but I could try it out in addition to Fusion in the future. Might be able to make a video on that topic. Thanks for the request.
@@LightArchitect Can you please do this in Fusion, From Blender to Fusion
Hi Thanks for sharing this workflow.
But how to export the final rendering form this EXR workflow ?
We need fulll entire reconstruction of this shot
My beauty pass is not looks similar to combined image. It looks dimmer. I used denoiser with 100 samples on each passes to minimise noises specially on diffuse indirect pass. Is that cause the reason??
how did you get the plane to show up behind the person
We used the sky to create a luma matte around the person. Or you can roto them out like we show in this video: ruclips.net/video/pfXmCH2hCpI/видео.html
did u denoise the render passes?
Why cant we composite in real time with blender thats so annoying and sometimes images in layers disappear
Yeah unfortunately I wish this were possible as well. Maybe soon though you never know what the Blender devs are cooking up! haha
Can you please do this in Fusion, From Blender to Fusion
I'll see what I can do. I haven't tried Fusion for a while but I may give it another look. Thanks for the recommendation.
Hi Silver Works. I made a video on Fusion vs Blender recently if you are interested.
