Ah !!! even the original singer Serge Lama is really pleased with Je suis malade by Forestella and he put this performance on his social network work and introduced it to media in France. Je suis malade of Forestella is one of my biases. Thank you for the lovely reaction.

Small correction; WooRim said more than 300 days a year, not 360.
In a recent interview Bae DooHoon said they don't meet (to practice together) 1~2 days a month. WooRim also said he never rested for 3 days in a row before his longest day-offs for his honeymoon for a week in his latest interview.
I'm happy for them they are getting more fame they deserved. Their stages prove their efforts. You know what more surprising? They get improved every time during their concert tour even though they did perfect from beginning. Always their latest performances are the best.

Of course it does not replace the original video recording with the beautiful stage design, but the acoustics are acceptable and it is a current recording. Vocally, the group has improved even more. Kang HjungHo's (countertenor-range) vocasls has become even more expressive.

@Bangkok Voice Coach The arranger was the music director Kwon TaeEun of Phantom Singer All Stars. Forestella usually work together with arrangers sharing their idea and thoughts, practice alot. You know only very deligent perfectionists can sing like that..

I'm in tears the whole time I'm listening but also it's so beautiful. As you mentioned, all of them are probably hard workers. Even if I don't know French, this song feels like something is crying in my heart. 😭 I haven't heard this song at the concert yet. The video seems to be from a performance early last year, but I didn't know about Forestella back then. I hope to hear it in person someday...🙏
You should check the lyrics for the meaning. It’s very sad. BUT - it comes from the heart.
@@BangkokVoiceCoach Ah....I know the meaning of the lyrics because the video of the jtbc broadcast was transmitted with Korean subtitles. However, the words used in French sensibility are a little unfamiliar to me. 😅 That's why I tend to feel the emotions felt in the vocals more deeply than the lyrics.

Hyungho, the counter tenor, half joked he never wanted to do another French song because the pronunciation was so difficult. Italian, Spanish, even an African language was not nearly as difficult. Woorim, the bass, and Mingyu the "light" tenor have classical training so singing in other languages is relatively easy for them. But Hyungho is lead singer in a rock band, he was a chemist before joining Forestella. Knowing a little bit of each of their back story leaves me in awe of their performances.

I adore your reactions to Forestella! By now you're probably aware that Ko Woorim is, in fact, a classically trained basso profundo and Cho Mingyu (the 3rd singer on the right of your screen) is a classically trained leggero tenor. The singer on the far right whose voice you like so well is a musical theater alumni, Bae Dohoon. The 2nd from the end is Kang Hyung-ho and was lead singer of a local rock band on weekends and a biochemical engineer thru the week. No formal training whatsoever. Just a natural countertenor/soprano voice! Crazy, isn't it? I'd love to see more reactions to them from you! Woorim has a few solos. They are Arabian Nights (from Aladdin) and Stars from Les Miserables. Cho Mingyu has tremendously talent as well, in an Argentinian piece,Ballad Of A Madman as well as another song in Spanish I believe, Ballad Of The Sad Trumpet. Brilliantly sung,,I still say Ko Woo Rim is perhaps enjoying himself at present but how many musical directors haven't snapped him up yet. Sung as it should be & not narrated (sorry Lara). William have you found out what they do? eg composer of lyrics or music, or just sing putting their own ideas into it?
