      Thanks, a trick I have been using since the 1970s. My nephew had been working on his car in my shop. I came home and found him struggling with a cotter pin. I showed him this and then got the idea to post the video.

    Hello Rick! Good tips. But what is this thin punch? Does it come in a set of punches?

      Yes, I have about 30 punches from various sets, and some purchased individually over the years. You can purchase them at almost any hardware store, Harbor Freight, Amazon, Ebay just to name a few. The punch in the video was 1/8" or 3 mm. thanks for the question and thanks for watching

      it was pretty quick. but with some expert slide hammer tricks, it could have been even faster
