@@nigelcicero9093 in a showcase who‘s the best commander video one would assume to see commanders in action…I‘m aware most decks win without a commander, but in these videos it‘s always nice to see the commanders do anything at all 😘
@@nigelcicero9093 false, there are a lot of cedh deck that are commander centric, sisay, kinnan, nadu ... and in general commander that generates card avvantage
We saw flubbs do its thing it's really not great. Flubbs is a meme at best and needs to go off with little to no interaction on the other side. We saw tyler do that and he still fizzled out.
well this was just a normal cedh game where tyler got to have a silly little minigame with flubs in the middle of it. hopefully we can get a better game from this pod!
It doesn't matter here cause there was no interaction left, but you can't target LED with Sevinne's Reclamation if the LED wasn't in the graveyard when the Sevinne's was cast. Fantastic game
More like "Which bloomburrow commander do we jam in to our CEDH combo decks" Wow thassa, underworld breach, and food chain that's EXACTLY why I want to make a bloomburrow deck 🙄
I've been tinkering with Flubs and an interesting card to add would be Bazaar of Bagdhad because, while yes, it is card disadvantage, but it's card selection and more importantly saves you in those awkward situations where you have 2 cards in hand and playing one would mean discarding the other and not being able to storm.
If you're playing cedh, playing with proxies is a given. Have you checked out the average price of a cedh deck? Timetwister, og duals, mox diamond and a ton of other cards that cost less, but still a lot. The price of an average cedh deck is in thousands of dollars
You guys have to try out Gev from this set in Cedh, it seems absolutely ridiculous. Naus deck with part of your win in the command zone. It goes infinite with persist creatures.
We found out that URW is a great color combo because Intuition is basically a one-card wincon. Also, paying for flusterstorm with a Pact and an LED is a legendary move
Btw if you throw Ulamog the infinite gyre into the cruelclaw deck it's not only a big stompy you can cast for a discard but also prevents you from being milled out if you don't get to play it. If it goes into your graveyard from anywhere shuffle ulamog and your graveyard back into your library. Meaning his infinite would end in a draw
Would definitely like to see a retry for this pod since we didn’t get to see really any of the contenders do their thing except for a short flubs turn.
I’d really like to see a Zinnia deck pushed to its absolute limits. I know it’s difficult to do Zinnia’s whole thing in cEDH, because it’s 3 colored pips, and then wants you spending extra mana on creatures. I know that makes it difficult to really lean into when there are just better options in those colors. But I’m still keen to see it done. I just want to see that limit reached for, even if that deck probably won’t be a tier 1 or 2.
As someone who plays 0 cEDH, I'd more expect these commanders to be the terrors of 'casual' tables, or possibly even high power, but I don't know that I'd expect any of them to be an irreplaceable part of a cEDH deck. Cool game though!
Choosing LED isn't possible because as Reclamation is cast, the targets must be chosen in that exact moment. This would be different if a creature would enter, but before that, you can activate LED and then let the creature resolve to then target the card with the etb trigger.
Great showing for some new commanders. I'd love to see yall run the new grixis rat wick, the whorled mind. It seems to have some quite interesting things it cam do.
Just an FYI the sevine's copy could not have targeted the LED. When you cast sevine's from the graveyard it copies and for a spell to be fully put on the stack all targets have to be declared. So as soon as you cast the spell you must declare both targets for the sevine's and the copy. I don't think it mattered much but it might in another game.
I’m trying to get into cEDH and I really think Flubs might be what gets me in. I put together a list and I’d really like to see what you guys put together
So I could be wrong here but when Cam initially flashbacked Savine’s reclamation he shouldn’t have been able to target the LED because the targets need to be targeted when it goes on the stack. I don’t think that matters too much but he should not have been able to do that. I think idk
I feel that Flubs should be filled with impulse draw, so you play something and it goes to exile, while you still have no hand. playing with that many 0s that do nothing is weird
One of those games where the commanders do absolutely nothing other than being there for the colors. This is why I don't think Bloomburrow has much for cedh other than a few cards.
I would have loved a game 2 for this one but still a great video I fucking love Flubs and it both made me laugh and makes sense that Tyler was piloting it
Without having watched fully yet, you guys didn't do baylen the haymaker? That feels like the bloomburrow commander to watch. It solves naya's main weakness, card draw + has combat damage wins + basically can use any naya stax slight shell (or any old jetmir list) as turbo is coming back in full force, naya also has the most tools to punish nadu. ABSOLUTELY think its the most viable cedh commander and possibly the best naya will have to offer.
I'd love to see Zinnia again. I'm actually curious as to what cards you added specifically for zinnia, since so much of this was just regular jeskai shenanigans
I would actually like a round 2 of this pod.
round two seems like a good idea given that almost none of them were of any impact this game
I agree, round two!
Totally make it a round two!
Yah same.
Yes please
Wow the bloomburrow commanders were so impactful this game
^ this xD
They gave access to colors I guess 😅
@@amarauk9687 yep, all that matters on cEDH scene
Right? :D
Flubs is to the jester as Rhystic Study is to the king. The former exists to highlight the folly and cowardice of the latter 🙃
Yo I love luddo narrative
You mean to say "flubs is to rhystic study as the jester is to the king."
Ken B in the comments section- let’s go
When they're this short yall should run it back.
So basically every Cedh game??
I’d love to see a round two. All this video showed us is that rhystic study wins games. Nothing about the commanders except Flubs
"Can someone else look at it? Im looking at yarn" 😂
hmm I love seeing people play cedh, but I would also love to see those commanders do anything^^
Yeah...
flubs did a whole lot
Should watch a non CEDH game then cause 9 games out of 10, commander won't even hit the board

In the future can we try for 2 games if the first goes SUPER quick and we didn't actually get to see what the other commanders could do
For sure need a round 2 lol at the very least I’m super interested in seeing Flubbs

@@xxthevampirate Yeah i Didnt really expect him to be busted, but he just seems really interesting to build
The only good way to build Flubs for CEDH is everything that lets you play extra lands, everything that costs 0, and lab maniac/thassa's oracle
I'd love to see Cruelclaw and/or Flubs again, they are both really cool commanders.
Cruelclaw looks like it's sick when it works

You can target LED with the copy of Sevinne's Reclamation as the copy goes on the stack when the spell is resolved not on cast.

If your playgroup allows proxies, because it's a 1.6k$ card

I think Gev makes a cool and interesting cEDH commander making all your persist creatures into combo pieces
Hell yes boys good vid need a game 2 for sure

It’s a bit late but baylen, the haymaker. I wanna see the weird twist and concept of this deck
ahh man, i would have loved to see cruelclaw do more, genuinely looks like a really solid turbo brew
I was wheezing from the deck names. Appreciate you guys
"Flubs did *some* things"
You have summed up my experience and it's been great. Let Dat Boi storm off

Flubs is the most fun I’ve had brewing a deck in ages. Bazaar and Eruth go so hard in here
Would definitely like to see a retry for this pod since we didn’t get to see really any of the contenders do their thing except for a short flubs turn.
Short and sweet today. Too bad we didn't get to see the commanders do more work.
Yeah a 2nd game would have been cool just to see if any of the commanders could have popped off a bit more
Flubbs needs cards that exile cards from the top of ur library instead of drawing them
I’d really like to see a Zinnia deck pushed to its absolute limits. I know it’s difficult to do Zinnia’s whole thing in cEDH, because it’s 3 colored pips, and then wants you spending extra mana on creatures. I would love to see more from the bloomburrow commanders, I've been absolutely in love with this set
Love flubs. Built a cedh deck with him and currently 10-5-1 with the deck in cedh pods including blue farms, rog si’s, and nadus
1000% I wanna see more Flubs. Most interesting puzzle of a commander I’ve seen in ages and I want to see more people’s take on the little nerd.
Should 100% run these decks back
Choosing LED isn't possible because as Reclamation is cast, the targets must be chosen in that exact moment.
This would be different if a creature would enter, but before that, you can activate LED and then let the creature resolve to then target the card with the etb trigger.
The second target is part of the resolution of the ability and doesn’t need a target on cast (if it’s being cast from graveyard)
Aww wanted to see cruelclaw in action :(
Turns out the best bloomburrow commander it's just rhystic study
I don't know what you guys are planning but I'd love to see Ms.Bumbleflower in Cedh
The name of mine Helga deck is "Arnold's Nemesis" lol. Love the Football head reference
Can you record multiple games with the same decks? In particular when games are so fast!

Cruelclaw and Flubs need to be brought back so we can see them do their thing.
I'd love to see more Flubs! Planning building him myself and I wanna see what you can do with him
Bummed no one played Gev and did persist loops. The Rakdos cedh discord is all giddy over it
I am once again here to support Kitsa showing up for the next pod :D

Nope! You don’t choose the second target from the copy until the spell is resolving
With bloomburrow and some of the other recent sets, would you think any proliferate or infect decks become more viable?
Could be a viable grixis or sultai list
I’d love to see a round 2 of this pod 💯, get to see Cruelclaw do the thing

Id like to see yall build Baylen the Haymaker
I would love to see the frogs again, in fact who's the best frog commander now lol
