I highly recommend the shampoo and conditioner! It has really done my hair favours and, as much as it is expensive, the shampoo in particular lasts a very long time (you only need a 10p size amount for your scalp)
If you haven't tried it yet & can get ahold of it, try CHI Infra Treatment. It's a deep conditioner for thermal damage. I have the same issues as you. I don't use any damaging products, heat, or anything & have tried everything. I started using CHI to condition my hair every time I wash it about a year ago (thanks mom) and my hair is SOOOO much softer, rarely ever frizzy, and is growing out much more nicely than before. I've also been trying to grow my hair out for several years and have started over a few times as well. I leave this in while I do everything else I need to do in the shower, wash it out at the very end, and air dry it with a regular fan on low. I swear by this stuff now. I'm going to start looking for other products made by them.
Olaplex shampoo is very very sudsy it’s actually somewhat overwhelming but my hair feels so good even after just shampooing and my scalp feels nice and clean!

it did the exact opposite for me. I was never able to get my hair length longer than a bit above my chest, it would just break off and it would look awful. Then i got the Number 3 and I started to use it occasionally (like maybe 2, 3x a month, and now even not that often (becuase I am lazy), and my hair is below my chest now in the span of a year. It would be longer but my hair was really damaged so I am doing a 2 cm trim every 3 months.

hi girl!!! i ve been watching you for quite a while now and i think you would benefit a lot by finding out about P E H balance (protein / emolient / humectant --- 3 types of ingredients found in conditioners) their lack off or excess in your hair routine can cause dryness and friziness. you should be using conditioners and oils based on your hair porosity to have the best results. there is a lot of porosity tests online, you can find out by taking a quiz and then youll know what your hair will react the best to. some types of oils are not suited for your hair, there are charts with types of oils meant for your hair porosity, coconut oil is not meant for everyone as well as olive oil. the less porous your hair is the smaller are things that oil is made out should be, for example for low porosity hair the best types of oil would be made out of small seeds (sesame, almond, cotton), for higher the opposite is correct. its a bit complicated with PEH balance but basically its all about finding balance in using proteins emolients and humectants in your conditioners cause they kind of do the opposite things(???) Proteins are things like keratin, milk protein etc... and it can be defined as a building material of you hair strands, lack of them makes your hair matted and puffy but excess (when you only use protein based conditioners) can makes it dry. Humectants (aloe, glicerin, pantenol, etc) on the other hand are supposed to mosturize, putting too much humectants without securing it with emolient in can cause dryness, puffiness and mattness Emolients are all types of oil --- they make a great barrier, they make your hair silky and shiny, they work really well after applying humectants or proteins there is a lot of other signs that i didnt mention that help you find out what your hair needs are at a different wash time. when i was a total hair freak i always looked at my hair needs before picking out 2 conditioners ( first one was P or H based and then i would lock in the P/H with E conditioner (not every wash day, cause oil based conditioner can weigh down your hair)) i wish i could explain it better to you but i only have acces to files with guide on peh balance in polish, because we have a fb group based around hair knowledge that really changed my whole view on hair care.
I agree soo much. I wanted to explain the same thing for a while, but I'm not the best at it and I just gave up. My hair, for example, loves proteins and looks so good after doing some kind of protein treatment, but if I overuse them it becomes so frizzy and it basically looks damaged (I can't use them more than once in 2-3 weeks). The same thing can happen if you overuse moisturizing products as they often contain a lot of humectants. That's why your hair can look different with every wash even though you've followed the same steps as always.
I love the shampoo/conditioner! I bought the 250mL shampoo bottle in June 2020 and I still have about 50mL left of it. I went through the conditioner in about 6 months. I alternate between my curly-girl approved low poo/conditioner and my Olaplex shampoo and conditioner because I feel like my hair only needs a low poo every other wash. Also makes the Olaplex last longer if I'm only using them once a week!
Just saw the hennasooq channel react to one of your videos. You might wanna look into ayuverdic haircare, specially a cassia treatment. It is suppose to add moisture and shine to the hair. Might need to do it a couple weeks or so to see results but maybe it'll help you in your journey 😊

There's plenty of knock-off Olaplex lines on the market, none of them scientifically proven as Olaplex is. Most of those lines simply use the word "bonder" in their marketing without even having the bonding chemistry of Olaplex. Mostly are just regular hair masks with protein or silicones and a fancy name.

She does have great information. However, I do not agree with the statement that the amount of chemical sunscreens used far away from coral reefs is too little to cause any damage. All of it accumulates in the end so it's quite a big amount. Besides, it's not only the coral reefs that suffer so I'm absolutely avoiding the chemical ones for now.
