As a Filipino, there are a lot of things about my country that I am not proud of but the national anthem goes insanely hard
As a filipino, things I hate could be sum up to 2 things, bad politics/politician and those who vote for them.
I literally sing the national anthem when I get stressed on roblox 😭
@@louissanchez6864So pretty much similar to my country Indonesia 😂
As a Filipino, I had to stand up and drop what ever I was doing
@@yotsuba361 Filipinos and Indonesians have a lot in common. Coming from a Filipino here btw
The way he said "Liu Peng Hini Raeng" sounds like a power move, I'm dead
Liu Pang Henna Rang 😂😂😂
Dying over here 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Lupang hinirang
Most kano thing I've heard 😆😆😆
The way he said it sounds so American but the way you wrote it makes it look like an East Asian language 😭
"le panghh in a rang" 🗣️🔥‼️
His accent nailed it, pure certified brain rot linguists
i only posted this 7 hours ago and it already got more than 50 likes, jeez louise
fuggin hell😂
It wasn't nice for him to read the title like that...
Was he chanting a spell?
love the meaning of their flag too! the 3 stars are the big island groups around the sun. The white triangle stands for equality; the blue stripe stands for peace, truth, and justice; and the red stripe represents patriotism and valor. The eight sun rays symbolize the first eight provinces in the Philippines that revolted against Spanish colonization. Now the craziest part - the blue at time of peace and of the blue waters. At times of war, they flip the flag with the red on top... which represents the blood over the blue waters
Also when setting up the flag, we do not put the red part on top unless it is meant for war. It will cause an issue it is one of the things that we Filipinos always make sure whenever we set up the flag
It's one of the most unique flags on earth.
To add to this, when displaying the flag vertically, don't simply rotate it clockwise. Make sure the blue side in on the left. Otherwise, it would mean war if red was on the left side.
Omg- thanks for the compliment!
Salamat ulit po!
One of the few good things about this godforsaken hellhole.
The last line seems like a mistranslation. It doesn’t mean “oppressors will die because of you” it means “it is our joy to die for you” which refers to the patriotism of the Filipino heroes who died for their country. It means giving your all for the sake of your country
That's honestly how I understood it, before watching this video, but honestly I Love that meaning so much more, Calling as to action, to Act when wrong is before you, even if you die, trying to fight against the wrong. I love that.
There's no coma in it
Dude lowkey could start World War 3 by making this tier list LMFAO
You know what's funny? World War 3 almost started last year (again), but China, for some reason, was afraid to go up against the Philippine army
@@MaskedColorzzzz nah they were waiting for us to retaliate. If we had done so we'd have been dead. They do this alot to territories they want, they want us to instigate
@@MaskedColorzzzz funny that you mention that but ph vs china will not be the reason ww3 would hav started last year. It would have been ukraine and russia
@@MaskedColorzzzz I mean, the Philippines has a defense pact with the US. CCP just ordered their coast guard to intimidate Philippine fishermen to stop fishing in the waters
@@MaskedColorzzzz China's afraid of the economic breakdown that will be brought by US, not the Philippine Army.
Fun Fact: It's considered a criminal offense to make fun of the anthem.
😮 a good reason to have an s-tier anthem (?)
Isn't that every anthem
@SkippyTheToilet Not really. Star Spangled Banner for example has no legalities to it (however I know that some will take it a little too seriously and bring "justice" by their own hand)
another fun fact, a singer got into a massive issue by singing the anthem in a different way. it happend on one of manny pacquiao's fight.
Or make any other renditions of the national anthem. The tone and tempo must always be the same with the original composition.
1:54 for those who dont know (including ludwig), the visual of the nun giving a soldier a rose, that was a thing that happened during the people power revolution. It was a peaceful protest and people gave soldiers flowers so they dont shoot anyone.
If you hear that song anywhere, you must stop what you are doing and stand up until it's finish. If you see the flag while that is happening, you must put your right hand to your chest and face the flag
I had my yt on autoplay and when this played while I was having lunch I stood up out of reflex and kept standing until it was done lmao
P.S. Him pausing and rewinding near the end kinda killed me inside

Yup...PROUD TO BE A PILIPINO...AND IM PROUD OF OUR NATIONAL ANTHEM AND FLAG🍻🍻🍻❤️
WHILE I WAS WATCHING HIM I WAS EATING THEN I SUDDENLY STAND UP
What if you’re crossing the street and suddenly hear it?
What you are watching are usually clips from movies in the Philippines portraiting the wars that we fought for our independence against Spanish/Spaniards, English/American, and Japanese/Japan
And some random clips like praying in the church lol most likely portraying that we are the only Christian country in Asia.
There's 6 Christian countries in Asia and 2 of them are in SEA.
@@verydisrespectful7679 before I think Philippines is the only Christian in Asia. Now I think Philippines is the only predominant christian country in whole Asia. And I think in the future it will be the oldest christian country in Asia. I like the character development of the Philippines. 😂
Timor-Leste is also a Christian country in SEA. I was shocked when I learned about this
the random clips is the most Filipino thing ever. peak definition of camp
Catholic* buy yeah
I just watched Interstellar at an Imax theatre in the Philippines and they played a similar video before the movie. That anthem in an Imax theatre was such an intense and unique experience. I turned to my Filipina girlfriend and said "Wow, you guys have the best national anthem I've ever heard".

In Philippines we don't use our national anthem of
1.making fun of it
2.turning it to rap
And we aslo have a law but i eventually forgot it here it is
1.when you heard the Philippine national anthem without or with flag you still have to respect it hope you learned it we have a history 😊😊with national anthem
my dyslexic ass reading this gave me a stroke
Section 38. When the National Anthem is played at a public gathering, whether by a band or by singing or both, or reproduced by any means, the attending public shall sing the anthem. The singing must be done with fervor.

The best part is the lyrics which actually holds so much meaning to the country, I used to sing it unknowingly at school but I've grown to realize how amazing and meaningful each word is ❤

Wow, him being able to point out the Philippine flag without searching is amazing
Most people know the Philippines flag, Not really surprising, Really.
Rightfully so, the Philippine flag is very unique
“It is our joy if there will be oppressors to die because of you.”
Wow. I actually like this version of the English translation more 😅
I never knew it actually went that hard
There's an official English version of the National anthem in the past when we are a part of Amercian Commonwealth
Don't the actual lyrics mean:
"If we were ever faced with oppressors, it would be our honor to die for the country." Not literal, but something like that
The lyrics are genuinely awe-inspiring if you understand
@@FanFoRlYfE
The lines are flipped for Filipino grammar reasons.
The singer is talking to the Flag/Country.
"That if there are oppressors, it is our happiness/joy to die for you."

Ludwig has blessed our country by listening to the national anthem, and with that reaction too
France’s La Marseillaise inspired Lupang Hinirang. This can be heard at the “Lupa ng araw ng luwal-“ part…the melody is very similar to the “Allons enfant de la pat-“ part of the French national anthem.

can i just say? it's nice that he found a version that doesn't try to sing that last "dahil sayo" differently.
Fun facts: The Philippine flag is normally flown with the blue part on top, meaning the country is at peace. The red part is flown on top when the country is at war.
Thank you for playing this and Thank you for putting it in S tier
It's lupang linirang
As a fellow Filipino I appreciate that Ludwig put our countries national anthem in S tier
You should watch the Philippine National Anthem with GMA's music video. Chills everytime, seeing our country's history.😊
Literally so hard to not put my right hand to my chest and not sing the national anthem when its playing
Fun Fact: When Schools Play This Song and people hear it cars stop to show respect to the flag (Republic Act No. 8491)

Uyy PHILIPPINES!! 👏👏 PHILIPPINES!! 👏👏WHOOO! 🇵🇭🇵🇭
The youtube translation of the last line is incorrect. It's supposed to be in the lines of - It is our joy to die for you against oppressors
Philippines might be the shadow realm according to micheal reeves but our anthem is pretty damn fire ngl
I am a Filipino, my ancestors fought the Spanish until there last breath. We are people filled with love and not hate.

Mabuhay!🎉
As a Filipino myself, this is STILL a banger. Thanks for the rank!
"luu paing hini reign" is totally the way to pronounce it
Studying the history of this country and seeing where they are now, such a fucking let down man, they really fell off. Their national anthem is one of the most poetic and one of the most nationalistic ones I've heard while traveling across the world.
yeah, i blame the people for always wanting greener grass over the fence lol. keep taking down their leaders for only shittier leaders, but their new president is pretty awesome. what let down? their economy is doing great compared to their neighbors. now if only they didn't kick out the americans they could have helped them recover from the volcano and the earthquake during mt pinatubo eruption. so they had to deal with that sh8t themselves. imagine if they didn't leave then who knows, might have helped them like south korea and japan. but because of china america's investing a lot into the country including a lot of their neighbors just in general. their military is modernizing to become at par just so they can hold their own against china until help comes if a war actually happens. so why did they kick out the americans? maybe look that up first and see how america let them down first so go study some more lol
As a Filipino, you're unfortunately not wrong.
Unfortunately
THIS!!!!! we had the potential to become one of the richest countries in the world but filipinos dont recognize that and are blinded by corrupt politicians 💔 what a shame
Bruh tier list of national anthems is peak internet 😭
It is a punishable offense if you sing it wrong. This includes singing it off-key, not following the exact time signature the anthem is based around (which is to the tune of a marching band), and showing just a wee bit of nationalistic pride.
You can get fined or jailed for that. I remember a few celebrities that got fined by the government because they showed a little too much love for their country and “sung it incorrectly”.
Only if you're a celebrity or politician on like national television lmao, normal people won't get persecuted

funfact the instrumental is originally a marching song and it is more slower than what we have today
also there is an english version when we are still under the American commonwealth and it is vastly more BRUTAL than today
The guy in the end was dr.Jose Rizal which is the honored "Philippine National Hero".
yoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo philippines its first s super song power im a pilipino
That's actually a marching band battle type song... if I'm not mistaken.
❤❤❤🇵🇭
as a filipino, listening to this made me put my arms on my chest and sing
"lui kang heeneyrang"🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The war part of the videos are in sync with the lyrics being played, it translates to. "But it is glory ever, when you(Philippines) are wronged, for us, to suffer and die (for you)" so yeah war
Filipinos are said to be one of the happiest people in Asia aside from being accommodating and hospitable. But, little that other people would know is that, we are also indoctrinated by our National Anthem to have a warrior spirit and mentality. The last line "Aming Ligaya na pag may mang-aapi, Ang mamatay ng dahil sa'yo." Is basically saying - "With Honor and smile on our faces, We will defend this Country up to our Last Breath." This Filipino characteristic is being tightly sealed by the positioning of the colors of our Flag. Blue on Top = Peace time. Red on top - War Time. Hence, All Hell will break loose. With everything in our arsenal or even with none, We will Defend.
How do I watch this stream? Seems fun
