Giving an update on the car! I've been using it as a daily and have been checking in with Brian over the past couple of years. It's driving great! I have R888Rs for daily use. I think these are the only tires that keep traction. They work all year long (except if there is any sleet or ice ofcourse). This build has been solid and I highly reccomend Kies for anything you need!
Are you still using the stock top mount intercooler? These things are known to leak internally and possibly cause your motor to go bad. It happened to me actually... was just curious. Awesome build though!
I liked your exhaust comment. But what’s important is you either buy a single midpipe or a equal length. I went with active autowerks single midpipe in my m2 comp
Just did valve cover and gasket at 65k miles on my 2015 M4 and you couldn't even tell anything was used. Change oil every 4k miles and these cars can last forever.
73k miles Valve cover gasket leaked, $750 repair job, 3 months later Valve cover went bad it was squealing, spent $500 for new valve cover + 500 labor this time. Next time just replace the valve cover while doing the gasket job. No other major problems, but I got 93k miles now and my turbo seals are going bad, I've been beating the hell out of it for the last 5 years. Change spark plugs every 20-30k miles, I got new coil packs @80k when i did my spark plug change, the rear coil pack was corroded. I have a convertible, the front left of my roof leaks a bit when it rains ever since 52k miles but eh...

How is your project going? I've had my 2015 m4 convertible for about 5 years now. Did all the basics, MHD flash tuned using RK-Tunes 93 octane tune (493whp/553wtq) on RK's dyno and also their full e85 tune(580whp), top mount intercooler, AFE intakes (just for sound) , charge pipes, activeautowerke's equal length midpipes. Got most of the car with paint protection film on, CF exterior parts etc. I got 93K hard miles on my car now, and my turbo's are going bad , car has burnt oil smoke when I'm stopped at a redlight. I bought CTS stage 2 turbo's, mostly cus of the price, getting them installed next week. Still have not done crank hub, but I do have a crank bolt capture plate on it.
🤩 So much power baby! I’m on bm3 stage 2 93oct on my F80 and sometimes feel not getting enough traction with the power. Imagine that if you have 700hp. Omg that thing will eat the rubber off those wheels.

Awesome! At what point (power) is something likely to let go on a stock engine? Aside from Crank Hub are there any other “weak” points on S55. Pretty solid to be able to run that kind of power on a pretty much stock engine!
@@brisso_cs I think it's right on limit, after this major upgrades needed in the internals is what i am thinking. If it's reliable at these amounts of power, it's awesome. This probably gaps a couple supercars.
amazing, goals for my F82, for sure. but with that HP and those tires, kind of a waste. you will be lucky to get any grip. unless you run 355 tires? but even a dyno queen is cool, i guess...
Stickier compound, boost by gear, suspension adjustment, rolling starts are all things you can do to help with traction. 355s are huge I haven’t seen an f8x run that big

Anyone know why the new g80 m3/m4's make 750whp+ with just an E85 ecu flash tune? People are aware that their s58 motor comes with bigger turbos and better fueling system, but when we upgrade the f80 m3/m4's , give their s55 motor bigger turbo and better fueling, it doesn't make the same amount of horsepower.. Whats the major difference in these 3 liter engines?
yeah, its not really needed tbh. not worth the money. whats important is changing out the front mount air cooler. hes got meth so it keeps temps real cool. along with ethanol burning less hot it adds to cooler cylinder temps but air is what matters so front cooler and meth is perfect

15 percent which way tho? Reducing crank horsepower by 15 percent isn't the same as increasing wheel horsepower by 15 percent. For example if something is 1000 horsepower at the crank, take 15 percent you would get 850, but if something is 850 at the wheels, add 15 percent you get 977.5
