- A man is on the run after being accused of shooting his girlfriend to death at a southeast Houston gas station near the Medical Center off of Almeda Road just after midnight. FOX 26's Jonathan Mejia has more details on what we know so far.

My thoughts EXACTLY!!!! How in the world does this happen? I am a friend of the family and knew this beautiful young lady the majority of her life! We are just devastated. Men do not value the lives of women anymore. They kill so no one else will be with the woman they have long controlled in an abusive relationship! Just absolutely heartbreaking!
