For anyone wondering, the man who shot the robber turned himself over to police. His identity was never released, as he was never arrested or charged with a crime. A grand jury looked at the case and chose not to indict him, so he'll face no charges.

wonder how many crimes he did as a juvenile most places media cannot get a juvenal record until conviction and it is used at sentencing if it can be retrieved , when i was a kid bikes got stolen in philly a lot but dad would say what kind of parent dont do anything when a kid comes home with a new shinny bike, or other valuable item. the parent knows it was stolen and kid decides to try car when they get older . also in philly the gangs made zip guns car antennas were hollow then, a block of wood naik and Rubber bands and every week the gang was very proficient in killing one of rivals . so certain groups haven't changed in 70 yrs although i say its less present bad than before there just busier but too many still have the attitude we dont do wrong even when caught often its not his fault no mom you raised him

She is not asking anyone for empathy. She is only telling us her relationship w her son. Be smart ppl 2 truths can be relevant at the same time. What that robber did has no excuse. He clearly has made more than 1 extremely poor decision and seems to have a good mother. It’s a sad story all around. At the end of the day, you can raise someone in the best way possible and they can still be a good person most of the time, but if they make even 1 really bad decision it could negatively change their life and those around them. Life can rly test ppl and some ppl get desperate and act way out of line. Be grateful for what you have and always remember 2 truths can be relavant at the same time. stay safe, & carry.

I swear this woman could have been my mom talking about my dead brother. She always played favorites with him and he got away with everything. He was put on a pedestal. My parents practically canonized him because he was the golden boy jock. Once it was discovered that my brother was on the wrong side of the law, as far back as middle school, they asked him to his face what he was doing. He denied, lied and deflected all of their questions while pretending that it was all a great big misunderstanding. Being the stupidly optimistic individuals that they were, they decided to accept what he had said as fact instead of cleverly rehearsed fiction. By the time he was in high school, his acting out had gotten worse. They finally decided to put their feet down and get him into therapy. A lot of good it did. He had lived without anything resembling consistent discipline or boundaries for over a decade and a half. We thought he had turned over a new leaf when he enlisted in the military. He made it 90% of his enlistment before he chose to leave voluntarily after getting busted while driving under the influence. Not just booze, but narcotics. Many of you who have served in the American military know that an Article 15 is not a career ender, but he couldn't handle the humiliation of losing rank or having to perform extra duty while all of his buddies whispered about him. I think part of the reason why my brother chose to leave with his tail between his legs was because he wasn't used to being the one who was picked on or mocked. When we were kids, he was a bully and ran with a tough crowd. All of a sudden he was on the other end of the stick and he didn't like it. For the following 20 years after that, he lived off of the government on his well-earned benefits but chose to spend his government check on drugs, partying and going in and out of rehab. He died right before last Thanksgiving. I still haven't cried. It's hard to grieve for the person who used to beat me up and, at one point, tried to kill me.

What is even more sickening is how law enforcement lies to everyone's face saying that 'they just want to talk to him' , when is clear that it is a set up to arrest him , a judge won't sign a warrant , I could see the anger in that cop's face while he was saying that he needs to talk to him blah blah , I've been there, and I can assure you, that when you do their job for them , they'll hate your guts, in 2005 i caught 2 child kidnappers, not one but 2 , casing my daughter's elementary school, they were arrested, and they arrested me too, searched my truck, insulted me with all kinds of derogatory cuss words you effing this , you effing that , and accused me of impersonating a police officer , when I told them that I didn't needed to impersonate a pig to do what I had to do , then they jumped and said 'let us do our job' blah blah blah... I've been in the middle of robberies many times , im from Chicago , go figure, if isn't elderly ppl or children in danger , i'd stay put ..,anyways , from that confrontation 9 cops were fired , 2 plain clothes were buried behind desk duty permanently, because they were thinking that I wasn't going to take action, i had a big tires ford bronco fitted with a CV radio and my wife was recording everything at the other end...
About 3 weeks later a window was busted and of course the CV radio was gone ,along with 3,800 worth of slashed tires ... and ppl think the police will help this guy...

I feel that a robber could have been shot two to😊three times in the lower extremities of the body to apprehend him . All of this shooting sounds like over kill . No wonder a grand jury will look into the details of everything that happened .

“He’s not the monster people picture him to be” this man had something to do someone’s father getting killed, then he assaulted his wife, and has numerous armed robberies under his belt. This dude been playing with death. He was a monster. So many people had to watch their back when he was around and probably has some sort of trauma if they ever crossed paths with this guy.

He's not a monster, alright... but worse than that.
      He's a DEMON.

@@ArturoPladeado how can I be more specific than that? I’m replying to the video about the man in the video. Damn you need more education because you sound stupid. I’m black and I don’t have a criminal record. Like what are you talking about? I think you were trying to sound intelligent or maybe insulting or whatever it was just made you look dumb. Just be quiet. And another thing is that instead of just sticking to the point you have to put race in this. What does the color have to do with it? Most of the nations most notorious serial killers are Caucasian. Most of the nations school shooters are Caucasian. The color doesn’t dictate if you are a monster or not it’s the person you are. But you might just be young and dumb and on here trolling like grow up.

@@ArturoPladeado For me, it's not about the race thing, and never will be. Even if that robber is white we would still call him a monster. I personally don't see people by color. I see therm by their attitude.
