Travis, thanks for this! I ordered from Lethal and installed following your video… and I don’t know SHIT about working on cars! Tomorrow, I’m tackling the afe cold air, and the cfv intercooler is on the way. Thanks again for giving me the confidence to pick up a new hobby!
Thank you! I just ordered this exhaust, then started second guessing myself becuase I was worried about the noise inside until I saw this video. You put my mind at ease!!!
Glad I could help point people in the right direction whenever you're ready let me know also over at lethal performance we are having our black friday sales with some killer deals 😁
Bro when you did the straight downpipe start I almost shit myself. Thank you for actually being a boss and starting it with just the downpipes. About to cop a set for mine. And I’m subscribing cause your cool as hell 👍
Depends on which down pipes if you have this exhaust with cvfab down pipes they will fit if you get the fenfab true 3 inch down pipes you’ll have to modify the end of this exhaust to fit. Most of all the down pipes on the market are 3 inch but then reduce down to 2.5 to fit the stock exhaust size. Even though the thermal is a 3 inch exhaust that’s front the cats back and stock cars are 2.5 outlet so the exhaust is designed to fit stock cats. Hope that makes sense. This exhaust will fit all after market downpipes unless you have fenfabs true 3 inch down pipes.
Hey, so I just installed my thermal yesterday 3in as well. I love it. Like you said after driving it for a day it seemed to have sagged a bit. So you loosened those clamps and then pushed each of those exhaust near the end(like piece at the very end) inwards? And then did you adjust the tips again? Thanks brother
Tighten it up, it shouldn’t sag on you and yes just the rear part loosen it twist it upwards and then tighten it down and adjust your tips. Make take a little playing around with.
Hey! So I did the exhaust and rear sway bar all together a total of two hours with maybe an additional 30 minutes getting the tips lined up perfectly 😅
Did you use forscan to get rid of the fake sound being piped in through the speakers? Just wondering if the audio inside your cabin was all exhaust or partial fake sound.
@@JMZAUDIO twist the muffler so the inside tip is basically touching the bumper and the muffler is pretty much sideways. Loosen up the tips and adjust them so theyre level. It’s all an illusion to get them to sit right lol.

The whole reason I make these videos is for this! I love hearing this man makes me so happy 😁❤️
Appreciate the very detailed install portion of the video, most people skip that when filming.
Most certainly 😁 I felt like I wanted to cover the perspective of what most people will do being in a garage without a lift 😁
Dude you guys are the real heroes of the internet, great video. Helped me get mine on.
I love hearing that and so glad my video was able to help you out 😁

You'll absolutely love the exhaust man 😁
My wife has a 2020 Explorer ST I’m looking to do some upgrades to it also. This is helping me make decisions on what to do.
Glad I could help point people in the right direction whenever you're ready let me know also over at lethal performance we are having our black friday sales with some killer deals 😁

Haha I appreciate the love man, really do ❤️
Man I cant wait to add this to my new ST. Great content!
You won't regret it 😁 and Thank you for the kind words 😁
Love the sound. Good job again on the install. I have the same Exhaust in my cart. 👍👍
Appreciate it man, let me know if I can help you commit to the purchase I work for lethal Performance 😁
Sounds great, and the black tips look nice. Great install video.

Awesome video guys, great job on the install!
I appreciate the kind words coming from y'all, absolutely love the exhaust ❤️ I get tons of compliments on it 😁
🔥 awesome video and the sounds of the exhaust is 🔥
Appreciate it man 😁
I have the 2.5in system, such a great exhaust. I had MBRP and removed it for the Thermal. Thermal makes great products, IMO.
They really do, their exhaust sounds amazing in my opinion 😁
Which Mbpr did you have?
Every type and size fastener has a specific torque specification.
Yeah it’s called my Milwaukee impact 🤣
Sounds great yo! 👍 good job!
Thanks man I really appreciate it 😁
Why did you go with the Thermal exhaust vs other brands? Borla Atak?
How do you turn the pumped in exhaust sound off?
You have to use a program called forscan
What if you have 3” downpipes? Does the front of the midpipe just slide in a little further?

what's it sound like in sport mode?
The video was filmed in sport mode at the end
Are you still running the stock downpipes?
Yes in this video I am still on factory down pipes 😁
Hey did your st have any exhaust rattle if so how did you fix it?
No I did this exhaust when I only had like 5k miles on the car lol, you fix it by replacing it lol. Stock exhaust sucks on these cars
@@HoustonSpeedFreaks so replace the flex pipes with solid pipe? Im really tired of the exhaust rattle

Making me want to mod the MDX 🥲🥲🥲🫠👀
Do it 👀👀😅
How long did it take you to install it?

Did you use forscan to get rid of the fake sound being piped in through the speakers? Just wondering if the audio inside your cabin was all exhaust or partial fake sound.
Yes fake engine noise is turned off via forscan 😁
Sounds great. Does it sound different in sport or normal?
I appreciate it, and it sounds the same no matter what mode you set it in.
@@HoustonSpeedFreaks thanks for the content. Keep it coming. I love the sound.
@@barbqizwhatido2545 I really appreciate it! And I shave a lot more content coming 😁
Dude my mid pipes will not slide on like that for the life of me… wtf
Like at all or what? Spit on them 😅
I guess it’s an issue with the 3” version.. had to do sand, lube and use a pipe expander.
Btw when you adjusted the tips could you explain how you better got them aligned? mine are kinda sagging
Just installed mine and they are definitely sagging and I could not get them to sit higher
@@JMZAUDIO twist the muffler so the inside tip is basically touching the bumper and the muffler is pretty much sideways. Loosen up the tips and adjust them so theyre level. It’s all an illusion to get them to sit right lol.
