This was SO MUCH FUN!!! The before and after is 🤯 Dionna is literally the most naturally beautiful woman ever ❤️ Thank you so much for including me! It was so fun!!!
I'm SO glad you liked it! Don't thank us, thank YOU for being a part of it and sharing such awesome insight! I love the part where you say "They call me GlamGirlGabi up in these streets"! LMAO. When Joseph edited that with the glasses and music I lost it!!!

Please stop your mean comments. This is a community of people who want to be the best they can be and feel good about themselves.
Thank you so much Christine. That's exactly correct. I hate using titles and thumbnails like this but I have to use what people will click on or no one will see the videos and get the info. That's why I always try to explain that in the beginning of the video. MrsCOC made that comment before the video was even live long enough for her to watch. Folks like that simply get blocked on this channel. We need less of them and more of you!
I won't argue there! She's pretty amazing all-around. Thank YOU for hanging out with us today! We just want to help people and feedback like this makes our day!
Thank you SO much! Your tips are GOLD too! I seriously appreciate the help on this! You rock. Side note, Dionna mentioned how amazing you were about explaining things last week. She was talking about how she'd ask a question and you made it so simple to understand!
This was such a great video! I love how you are collaborating with other creators & artists and learning from each other. Dionna is just radiant. Love what you did with her hair! ❤
So I read a book once where they were asking, “Why does an older woman’s face look like it has that fake shine on it that fake fruit in a bowl has?” I can’t get that out of my head. I live in South Florida and, believe me, I am glowing. Crazy hot here. I’m 65 and am told to use cream products, but it’s not helping the excessive shine/glow I have. I have to use powder!
Yes! I moved from NY to SC for 7 years. While I hated the heat and humidity, my skin loved it! I got back thar great skin we all have in our 20's. (Except some wrinkles, of course ) I had to use a little mineral bases powder make up, and that was it. Moved back up north, dry skin, needed more hydration, cream based products, etc. The South just loved my skin! Thank you. ❤
Love this! I am a blah faced 51 year old and I don't wear makeup. This video is making me think I need to try some cream products to give me some glow back! Thank you to you and all your crew that made the video! You are all beautiful!!
thank you! Dionna looks amazing! I will try incorporating some of these tips! I recently did the pixie short hair but now probably need a softer make up touch
Great video! Love and watch all of you! Dionna is fitting right in with all the ladies and so much fun to watch her evolve in the utube community. She’s beautiful inside and out ❤
I love your videos. I have used them to communicate more effectively with my hairstylists, improve my approach to my makeup and skincare, and add some great effective products to my routine. The only thing missing is an in-person visit!! Wish I lived closer!
How I wish that MUAs would acknowledge that not all women over 50 have dry skin! I'm 66 with still-oily skin! Cream face cosmetics WILL NOT WORK for me. Furthermore, I live in the devastatingly hot and humid south; cream blushes and bronzers are out of the question - they melt and disappear on me.
I definitely can sympathize with you when it comes to oily skin because my skin is SUPER oily too. What I meant was that keeping the skin hydrated looking and supple is very important for creating a more youthful looking appearance on any face. That can mean something else for you than for people with dry skin although in my experience, the majority of women over 55, have normal to dry skin. Thanks for watching Barb and for taking the time to comment.
Me too, I'm of Italian heritage living in South Africa in a city with Mediterranean climate, not humid at all, and have very oily skin even though I'm 70. I have to wear powder over my entire face over foundation and 3 hours later I'm shiny! It probably keeps the wrinkles away though, so it is a blessing.
In that case you could watch videos related to make up for 20-30 yr old. I live in a humid climate and always had oil saturated skin but once I hit 36 and premature menopause it all changed.
This video was so well done and VERY helpful. I loved seeing Dionna applying the tips from Gabi and Penn. Your wife is such a beautiful woman! The only thing I would change in this video is make the music just a little quieter ... makes it easier to focus on your words and message (not saying this to be mean or critical as i LOVED this video). Thanks, Justin! -Stacy 😊
Yay! So glad I clicked on this video! I have hear the Austin Crew talk about their amazing, talented and kind friends Justin and Dionna, but never realized it was your videos in my feed! Justin, your warmth is evident and Donna your sweet humor and personality shine through. I'm totally replicating the lip liner trick. @glamgirlgabi and Penn, thank you for sharing your tips and talents with us. :-)
Great video! Definitely a change in the before and after makeup looks, but I think Donna looks even more youthful and radiant with less makeup! She is naturally beautiful and should let that shine through without hiding it behind makeup. Also agree with many commenters here that not all of us older women have dry skin. Mine is still oily at 62 and anything glowy just makes me look greasy…not an attractive or youthful look.
Thank you I love tips to learn ❤️ A little trick I discovered on my eyes the other day is I used mascara just on the outer lashes a teeny bit on inner but most in outer It made my lashes really stand out more and elongate the shape of my eyes Trying different techniques on our faces is also so individual
Great video. Dionna is so beautiful no matter! I would love to hear her favorite make up products and more about her skin. I feel like she is one of us learning from all.the other beauty RUclipsrs.
Great video, you two! I’ve been following the amazing Penny since she first started her Facebook page years ago and found the gorgeous Gabi about a year ago. Both are amazing women! Oh, and you and Dionna are pretty special too 😉😉 Thanks for all y’all do to help us ladies look our best!
Love your videos, love the feel of keeping real, love that you added other content creators such as Gabi and I wish I could have my hair cut consult done by you.
I just ordered the blumene! I could totally see the difference on both you and Dionna. Thank you for the link and wish me luck! I’m definitely seeing all the “ changes” in my skin and hair at 52.
Nice! I'm still testing it (using it 5X a week). I feel like I notice a difference after I use it but I'm very interested in seeing the change over the next 60 days.
@@justinhickox. I’m seeing a lot of very similar tools looking just like the Blumene which do the same thing for like 38.00. Does urs have the red light and vibration ❓❓. Pls respond bc I want to get one today. Ty so much. 8/26/24
@@laraoneal7284correct, the Blumene has red light, and vibration. There are a few different settings on the Blumene that help tackle different concerns. I’m only using the sculpting setting right now so I can’t speak to how well the other settings work though.
I really didn't mind the before photo of hair. Dionna looks good either way. I did notice the difference of makeup applied on the after photo. I have taken notes. Thanks for a fun and informative video.
That was great. I must persevere with glowy makeup and not keep thinking I look greasy. The temple volume I’m going to work on too, although my hair has other ideas 🤷♀️
Hi Justin and Dionna! Nice video, you guys are a great team! ❤ I did order one of these Blumene devices. I am 67 years old and need all I help I can get. Thanks to Gabi and Penn for your input. Dionna looks Amazing with your tips! Hope you had a great time in California with the girls! 💕😊🙋♀️🇨🇦
I will be age 50 in a few months and I have always looked younger than my age…part of me is leaning into aging. All the gimmicks, tips and tricks are fleeting. In other words, you can spend a lot of time and money to look a certain way, and quickly (sometimes within a couple hours) the entire look falls flat due to being busy, weather conditions etc. I used to obsess about my appearance, and now I am just like, ‘meh, it is what it is’ 😆
@@justinhickox I'm 52 and have been using cream makeup for awhile now! I grabbed that facial tool and grabbed a 2nd! Got 2 for $130! I posted in the group about my hair falling out BIGTIME. 4 surgeries in under a year plus getting my hair highlighted...I should have known better. That facial tool though! Can't wait to start using it! Thanks again very much! I love a great deal!
I've had to reach out to the company to cancel my order 😞. After eagerly placing the order, I read the contraindications and I have all of them! I have a neurological disorder called Dystonia. I have probes implanted in my brain that have wires that run down to a battery/electronic implant. I get Botox injections every 3 months to relax the muscles in my jaw that spasm terribly and I just had jaw surgery on July 16th and have a total of 8 screws in my bottom jaw...I really wish I could use this facial tool 😢. I now can only hope cancelation is not a hassle 😢
I have one of those devices (not that brand) and have been using it for about 1-1/2 years. It hasn't done anything to my jawline but I'm in my late 60s so probably too late for me. I use it to massage my moisturizer into my skin in the morning and that feels nice.
@@laurac86 I learned a ton from Kelly Driscoll's channel. Depends on skin type, goals, etc. Pick one or two areas you want to improve and do some research on what products will work.
I have a similar tool that i use during skincare application. I so the gua sha pattern. I've seen some improvement in my jawline with consistent use 3x per week.
Yes lovely video! I see the difference & love all your tips hydrate, soft liners ( l like your wife's tips, helps me feel more confident) And the hair oh yes!! I need the height on top, closer to heaven😂
Thank you! You're not alone. Hands down my favorite product for volume. I'm working on getting it back...it's just taking much longer than I would have liked. Stay tuned though!
Omg I didn’t recognize Penn. I definitely watched her videos, even few months ago, she looks so much different, might be weight loss. She looks amazing, she always looked amazing.
I also use a lot of cream make ups now but I find in hours it just slips right off my face. I have dry skin so I use a good serum and face oils at night plus moisturizer and sun screen. Is this too much for the make up helping to just slide off? I could add powder but that defeats the whole purpose.
I spend an age with product trying to get that lift on my thin hair and I get it with mousse for 5 seconds then it collapses literally before my eyes. Also round brushing with mousse the brush really pulls on my hair seemingly getting stuck. No gliding through for me and no shine.
I would love for someone to address how when I use moisture and cream products and leave my skin dewy looking but my hair sticks to my face and it drives me crazy!
Great question! I'm actually filming a video where I will be answering that next week. The video won't go live fort a couple of weeks though. I honestly haven't taken after photos to compare against the before pics yet. It seems like I see some difference but I won't know until I put them side by side as to how dramatic it is.
I don't actually feel like the alternate choices age her. They might be a different look, but I would guess an age difference to be maybe 2 or 3 years. Different isn't necessarily bad or aging
I have had two of those little machines and both of them have broken within a week. I'm not going to order another one and the company will not replace them.
Can i ask what type of foundation do you use? I have very dry skin and it’s always been like that for m but I can never find one that doesn’t make it worse. Help please
From the thumbnail, my question is is this about looking younger or is this about style (not overdrawing dark lip liner, embracing glowy makeup, not scowling). I say style. Let’s not equate age with bad things.
The light thingy I honestly didn't see any difference except maybe the side it was used on looked lower or saggier. I didn't see a positive result but that's just me.
I am seeing too many middle aged influencers who look like they are having hot flashes on camera. There is a fine line between glowy and sweaty. You wouldn't wear highlighter all over your face but that is the effect of these new glowy products. Use sparingly on cheekbones and chin.
I can get the look with the flat iron and love it but it doesn’t last. I’m using root lift, mousse, gel……I think I’m going to have to revert to teasing.😢
Have you ever tried the Rootie iron? It basically crimps the roots at the crown of your hair, while the top layer is smooth over it so the crimping is invisible. I have very thick, fine hair and the Rootie is like magic for me!
@@AlishaYouch I don’t have the rookie but I do have the regular size voluum. I like the result but it’s the same result…falls out. It looks great but doesn’t last.
The thing about making yourself 'look' younger is that at some point your dating partner will eventually see you in reality- without hair/makeup enhancements. You go from hearing You Look Great to WTF happened to you. Also it's always about women- looking younger- what about men? Especially when most men are dating/marrying women 10 or more years younger than they are. The 70 year old man is being 'judgy" about his woman not looking young enough; while he looks older than F__k! It's like the people who enhance their look for photos and videos they post, but look nothing like it in reality. I know people who are now confident about their looks because they believe the image they post is 'True' when it's definitely not. That is why I don't post photos of myself. I am sometimes, unfortunately, caught in photos by others. I always look pretty awful. But that is my truth/reality. I'm not deceiving myself or anyone.

I really didn't mind the before photo of hair. Dionna looks good either way. I did notice the difference of makeup applied on the after photo. I have taken notes. Thanks for a fun and informative video.
Luv Penn. Awesome job Dionna. Great to see you both as always
That was great. I must persevere with glowy makeup and not keep thinking I look greasy. The temple volume I’m going to work on too, although my hair has other ideas 🤷♀️
You got this! ;). Thank you for hanging out today. Volume around the temple can be tough but it definitely helps a ton with the shape!
This glowy makeup just makes most womenb look sweaty or oily most of the time. Treat it like highlighter and only use on cheekbones and chin.
If you think you look greasy, you probably do! I don’t care for the shiny face look of the lady in this video. Oil and moisture are not the same.
I used to obsess about my appearance, and now I am just like, ‘meh, it is what it is’ 😆
You two are such adorable people. Both gorgeous and helpful.
Dionna is so pretty!
Good morning! Great tips! Thanks!
You are so welcome! Thanks for hanging out with us today! Was there any specific tip that stood out for you?
Great video, Justin!!!!
Love this!! So helpful, thank you!
Loved the tips and products you shared. Thank you!
Great video guys! Awesome tips & Dionna looks beautiful as always! 🤗
Always love your videos! You and your wife are so cute! Love the honest tips and advice!
Really enjoyed this video!
I have one of those devices (not that brand) and have been using it for about 1-1/2 years. It hasn't done anything to my jawline but I'm in my late 60s so probably too late for me. I use it to massage my moisturizer into my skin in the morning and that feels nice.
Thank you so much!!!!
I want to be as beautiful as, Dionna! Thanks for all the tips. Definitely going to try the lining tips this AM.
I would love her skincare list!!pls
Great tips!..I have always done 1/2 lid on lower eye, but will now only do 1/2 on top also...I can't wait to get my Blumene!!!..I got the $70 off🎉
Thanks for the video, Jakob! Question: Where did you get the little icons (sun, movie cam, etc) that are to the left of the headings?
Wow I’m on the right path! Use the Blumene and love it! I need a glowy foundation, any tips?
Awesome! That’s so great to hear! There’s a list of Dionna’s favorite makeups in the description of this video.
Great job! 🎉🎉🎉 Listen up, ladies and gentlemen. ❤❤❤
This was so helpful thank you
5:27 Sorry, the effect is small. I use better Gua Sha stone - and it`s cheaper.
Oh yes, I know what I want for Christmas next year. That instrument that Justin was using.😊❤❤
Korean skincare has changed my 53 year old skin!
Any standout products you would recommend??
@@laurac86 I learned a ton from Kelly Driscoll's channel. Depends on skin type, goals, etc. Pick one or two areas you want to improve and do some research on what products will work.
I have a similar tool that i use during skincare application. I so the gua sha pattern. I've seen some improvement in my jawline with consistent use 3x per week.
Dionna is stunning. The makeup tips are spot on. I'd prefer her with longer hair, without a sharp shape, I think it's aging.
Yes lovely video! I see the difference & love all your tips hydrate, soft liners ( l like your wife's tips, helps me feel more confident) And the hair oh yes!! I need the height on top, closer to heaven😂
Awesome video with great tips! Thanks so much! 🎉
Great tips!! Thank you!!
Wooooaaahhhhh, back up! Did Penn just say she is about to turn 51???? 😳🤔
Holy moly, I better start hydrating! 😅
I think she did have a facelift. She talked about her procedures
Love this vid. But I miss Phat hair😢. It was a miracle worker on my fine blonde hair.
Muchas gracias ❤
I spend an age with product trying to get that lift on my thin hair and I get it with mousse for 5 seconds then it collapses literally before my eyes. Also round brushing with mousse the brush really pulls on my hair seemingly getting stuck. No gliding through for me and no shine.
I would love for someone to address how when I use moisture and cream products and leave my skin dewy looking but my hair sticks to my face and it drives me crazy!
Hey Justin, it's been 30 days, what kind of results did you get from Blumene?
Great question! I'm actually filming a video where I will be answering that next week. The video won't go live fort a couple of weeks though. I honestly haven't taken after photos to compare against the before pics yet. It seems like I see some difference but I won't know until I put them side by side as to how dramatic it is.
I don't actually feel like the alternate choices age her. They might be a different look, but I would guess an age difference to be maybe 2 or 3 years. Different isn't necessarily bad or aging
I have had two of those little machines and both of them have broken within a week. I'm not going to order another one and the company will not replace them.
No scientific evidence for their efficacy.
Dionna looks sad lately.. sending her love❤️
Great video ❤
Great video!!
Thank you 😊😊😊
You're so welcome! Thank YOU for hanging out with us today!
I have a question about the make up. I'm 44 and have oily skin, should I still use cream make-up?
I would like to know how to make an older plus size face look younger. Especially if I don't want really short hair because it's super fine and thin.
Can i ask what type of foundation do you use? I have very dry skin and it’s always been like that for m but I can never find one that doesn’t make it worse. Help please
Perfect!
Great video !
Loved the video
Where’s the video link for the hair?
Dionna already looked 10 years younger before hair and makeup! 😉
Do you wash your hair every day, or do you sleep with a high loose pony to keep the volume in your hair for the next day?
From the thumbnail, my question is is this about looking younger or is this about style (not overdrawing dark lip liner, embracing glowy makeup, not scowling). I say style. Let’s not equate age with bad things.
I’d say it’s about tips to looking and feeling your best at any age.
What is your opinion of the Voloom 2.0 hair tool to create volume?
No eyeliner on the bottom of the eye at all?
The light thingy I honestly didn't see any difference except maybe the side it was used on looked lower or saggier. I didn't see a positive result but that's just me.
Your wife is beautiful! Period!
Wow, great tips, your wife is so pretty.
Is Dionna’s hair naturally straight?
I am seeing too many middle aged influencers who look like they are having hot flashes on camera. There is a fine line between glowy and sweaty. You wouldn't wear highlighter all over your face but that is the effect of these new glowy products. Use sparingly on cheekbones and chin.
Great video❤ except for the gadget lol
I can get the look with the flat iron and love it but it doesn’t last. I’m using root lift, mousse, gel……I think I’m going to have to revert to teasing.😢
Have you ever tried the Rootie iron? It basically crimps the roots at the crown of your hair, while the top layer is smooth over it so the crimping is invisible. I have very thick, fine hair and the Rootie is like magic for me!
@@AlishaYouch I don’t have the rookie but I do have the regular size voluum. I like the result but it’s the same result…falls out. It looks great but doesn’t last.
Cuando los hombres elogian otras mujeres como mucho mejor que la suya propia, algo no va bien! El dijo:"la mujer mas amable que haya conocido"
I don't like the matte poreless finish I've seen on the younger crowd.
Every wrinkle I have gets accentuated 😅😅😅
