Maybe the superintendent should stop funneling money to Colorado. And put that money to new ac systems and security measures so they don’t have to close an entire school for “a domestic incident”. It’s pathetic and fraudulent. Shame on HISD superintendent. These problems have been going on for ages. Shame on you.
Why because Miles don’t want to lose all those millions Texans are giving to public school so he can have enough and send back to Colorado? That’s why he opened too soon?
My 77015 neighborhood doesn’t have power, but Centerpoint’s interactive map doesn’t have a power recovery date for us. Their representative told me to call back after he admitted their map was inaccurate. The mayor is busy patting Centerpoint on the back. I don’t believe their numbers.
Superintendent Miles said the reason he didn't close HISD altogether is because some students don't get fed except for the food they get at school. He said lack of power determine closure
Look i feel like temps shouldnt be a problem ive gone to school in 90 100 degree weather in Puerto Rico and 120 to 130 degree weather in the midterranian in an aircraft carrier with long sleeves camos and boots. Need to stop babying these kids.dont get me wrong i dont expect kids to be in 120 or 130 degree weather, their are situations to actually close down schools. But we gotta actually research the situation.
