Hi, one question. There is only one cpu cable from AIO that needs to be plugged into CPU header on motherboard right? How do you have control for both CPU headers in BIOS?
Out of the box, it ties all PWM motors (1,2 or 3 large fans and a small fan and the pump) together so that they run at the same speed ratio. If you want to control the fans and the pump independently, you may disconnect the fan cable from the wiring harness and connect it to a header different from pump.
that is VERY high, do you have PWM setup in the BIOS, are you controlling the correct headers in the BIOs to where you have this plugged into? Did you remove the film in between the cold plate and the cpu? Did you use the included thermal paste?
You obviously don't have the block making proper contact. Take it off and make sure your thermal paste is covering. Recommend thermal grizzly hydronaut paste.

@@----__----- that's nothing to do with the question, I want to know is if the waterblock fitting mechanism from those arctic liquid freezer II could work for direct-die cooling on a 8700K like if they don't go low enough to make contact it's a no go and could fry the chip... And also actually the bigger the rad the better it can cool because it's not just the water amount but also the dissipation amount and the more metal the water goes through the more time it has to lose heat to the air around before going through the hot water block again as a full cycle... Custom watercool and different water reservoir is more what your talking, the more water the more time it will take until it reach max temperature...
@@----__----- Sorry, that's not how it works. If it were, you would need no more than 120mm radiators. Larger the radiator, the more it can dissipate heat to air for a given fan speed or same heat as a smaller size rad at much lesser fan speed (and noise).

They would of been lower but the lack of thermal paste and allowing the pump to lift off after placement introduced air bubbles in the paste contributed to the lower numbers. Go check out GamerNexus's review and you can see what this cooler can really do.
I don't think that's a fan to air the VRM it's a pump to move water inside the tubes. You can tell because it has plastic underneath, no way for the air to go through.

What's your opinion on front mounting?
Not in this case its fractal r6 a guess
@@АлександрПольщиков-ч4щ I've tested it with my P500A - it definitely lowers CPU temps and can allow for higher overclocks, but raises everything else including the GPU. I personally would rather have lower GPU and RAM temps so I top mount.
Front will do batter temps or same just make sure that pipes sets higher water blok sry for my eng
Great video.
Hi! Thank you for your amazing videos mate ! Helped me to correctly build my pc! Could you please advise on fan directions (airflow directions) on top, front and rear fans? Thank you in advance !
Does anyone know if this cooler but like the 240 or 280mm would work for direct-die cooling of a I7 8700K?
Would be fine
The different size radiators is just for heat consumption over time. They do not cool any better. Just more volume to heat
Mine didnt come with stickers
thanks very much for this video!
there is so much static on the mic there is no chance to judge the noice from the AIO at all...
I did what I could with the equipment I had, I have upgraded to a ROD VIdeo Plus now, so the microphone is TONS better.
"heated" debate I get it 😄
Would the Arctic Liquid Freezer 2 360 fit into a Fractal Design Define S? :)
in the front sure.
ThisBytesForYou Thank you very much :)
Hey, could you please tell me, what are your max temperatures on 5.0 GHz all cores? I have a Noctua NH-D15 now with 5.0 Ghz and AVX load 2 with max 89°C with 100% processor use.
Well at a true 5Ghz, i have AVX set to 0, what are you using to test AVX? (I think, I don't have the machine in front of me now)
@@ThisBytesForYou I mean I just set the AVX in bios to 2, so with high usage, the 5.0 Ghz drops to 4.8 Ghz.
@@imik_plays I see, but then it;s not a true 5Ghz, even though the ratio is set to 5. Let me see what I can do if I can fit that into my video, though I can fit that into the overall review, todays video will be of noise levels.
@@ThisBytesForYou Hah, I don't mind any sounds, even if they are louder. I'm just looking for the best cooling possible (AIO now). Without any maintenance needed.
@@imik_plays I totally get you, but a few people have asked about sound, so I will make that video. I 100% agree on the cooling as well, I think though I will have to keep that to the written review and the review overview video, but I got you covered, hopefully if anything by next weekend at least.
You dont put music when you trying to test the sound pf the fans 😂
Great Video ,, ,very detailed-
Thank you so much my friend, very happy you liked it.
my case is too narrow to put it on top :(
hi , why not use N.2 SSD? Why use ssd?
I have 2 x M.2 SSD's in that machine, but I have additional SSD's in he machine as well for additional storage. You can't see them because they are under the video card.
weird seeing it sideways i have mine with pump fan on top
Great video. Ty
Wait sooo it's just that? For the pump???? Bruh no way I need to rewatch the vedio
this cooler is the best and worst thing I have ever dealt with
A very good video course! I think I'll buy this cooler too! ... but I see such a strange matherboard for the first time in my life (I have and always had Asus) ... greetings from Austria ... :)
Torre de Belém in the Windows login screen, Portugal Caralho!
hahah por que chateado embora?
assim é fixe
When I have the filter (cover) on my LF II240 doesn´t cool properly. CPU hits 92 C using Prime 95 easily. Without the filter its much much better, more like 62 C even after 15 mins. Case is Fractal Define Nano S
wow thats insane, must be an amazing filter though. Do you have it controlled through PWM on the motherboard, sounds like something is not connected correctly?
I was expecting much lower temperatures oO
They would of been lower but the lack of thermal paste and allowing the pump to lift off after placement introduced air bubbles in the paste contributed to the lower numbers. Go check out GamerNexus's review and you can see what this cooler can really do.
Scott actually I bought this and installed and compared to my MSI Core Frozr L it performs very well.
Ty for shis video!
I don't think that's a fan to air the VRM it's a pump to move water inside the tubes. You can tell because it has plastic underneath, no way for the air to go through.
It's definitely a fan, I have this AIO in my case rn lol
if i change the fans to a corsair rgb can it connect to the stock cable ?
thats a great question, but I dont know, I will have to test it, I will get back to you.
@@ThisBytesForYou depends if corsair is 4pin
@@s1x_o very true
corsair have awful and loud fans.
amazing
Because of this video I changed CPU , case (buy a fractal meshify 2) aio arctic freeze liquid ii 360 and motherboard, that you're cursed
Everyone is using the Arctic Cooling Liquid Freezer II 360 wrong. Remove the fans from original back off radiator to front and you will have 5-10 degrees better in thermas period.
Do you have a source or URL proving that?
It doesent matter if the fans push or pull....
@@DutchGuy_Limburg Yeah but you can reduce dust
Completely wrong...the tubes should be at the bottom ...
great how-to but pleeeeeeeeeeeease
dont stop the fans manually while they're running my heart hurts and the motor does too
TUBES should go DOWN
No
@@xr337 tubes should be down otherwise it pumps air into the pump...the guy in the video is clueless...
