      @@stephenmillergbl yes it would fit, but you may have to put this in the front, you surely will not be able to put it up at the top. @@ThisBytesForYou Thanks. I'm going to get the 360 version are the fans on it in push or pull as I'm thinking about how to orientate the cooler. do I have the fans at front of the case pushing air through the RAD into the case or pulling? do I need any fans at the top or any in the little bit at the front bottom as an intake to help cool the rest of the system or will it be ok?

    • @ThisBytesForYou
      @ThisBytesForYou 4 года назад +1

      @@stephenmillergbl you can setup the fans however you like, they are removable, so if you buy additional fans, make sure they are the same ones, they daisy chain feature is great. In this video I have it as pull, but in this video, I have it as push ruclips.net/video/HN8D_FRHtP4/видео.html. I recommend fans on the top, to exhaust, pulling heat out of the system, but they are not "needed" they help, but are not required. in the Amazon affiliate link I provided, you can select the 360 version if you like, I love this thing.

      To boot into yout bios...
      1. Make sure your pc is off

      Out of the box, it ties all PWM motors (1,2 or 3 large fans and a small fan and the pump) together so that they run at the same speed ratio. If you want to control the fans and the pump independently, you may disconnect the fan cable from the wiring harness and connect it to a header different from pump.

      Best is arguable as we can't review every single one in the class to do direct comparison. That being said Arctic does an outstanding job with their AIO coolers, though you could say the Freezer II 420 model with 140 mm x 3 vs the 120mm x 3 fans would provide slightly better cooling it also takes up more space.

      @----__----- 2 года назад

      Would be fine

    • @----__-----
      @----__----- 2 года назад

      The different size radiators is just for heat consumption over time. They do not cool any better. Just more volume to heat

    • @guily6669
      @guily6669 2 года назад

      @@----__----- that's nothing to do with the question, I want to know is if the waterblock fitting mechanism from those arctic liquid freezer II could work for direct-die cooling on a 8700K like if they don't go low enough to make contact it's a no go and could fry the chip...
      And also actually the bigger the rad the better it can cool because it's not just the water amount but also the dissipation amount and the more metal the water goes through the more time it has to lose heat to the air around before going through the hot water block again as a full cycle...
      Custom watercool and different water reservoir is more what your talking, the more water the more time it will take until it reach max temperature...

    • @Wingedmechanic
      @Wingedmechanic 2 года назад

      @@----__----- Sorry, that's not how it works. If it were, you would need no more than 120mm radiators. Larger the radiator, the more it can dissipate heat to air for a given fan speed or same heat as a smaller size rad at much lesser fan speed (and noise).
