- Hi friends! Today I'm trying out the New Elf Cosmetics Putty Bronzer for you guys! I immediately went on their website right after it was announced and picked up the two lightest shades. I was super excited to see them expanding their putty line and not trying to give any spoilers... but WOW!! 😍 Hope you enjoy! :)

As far as why brands have fewer shades in store, it’s not their choice. Retailers set up their own plan o gram and allow a certain amount of slots for each brand. Retailers carry the shades they will sell the most of.
It would definitely benefit elf or any brand, if they could get all of their shades in store.

I've also heard tell that brands actually "rent" the space and the POG is drawn from what each brand pays to have their products displayed.

Whoa!!! Emily these are AMAZING!!! The grey one scared me for you but NO!! Used together it made for the most beautiful bronze and sculpt!!! I’m so surprised honestly because I hated the putty blush, i tossed them to the trash. They were so dry, nothing like the creaminess of these babies!!!😍
Right! The cool toned one scared me at first too 😅 but I agree, them together is a pretty combo! And omg really!? I think you’re the first person I’ve heard not like the putty blushes, that stinks! If you try the bronzers, I hope you love them! 🥰

Cool-toned is for contour (shadows), warm-toned is to be applied as the ELF directions indicate: on top of the cheekbones, across forehead, as if you’ve been “bronzed” by the sun. The sun hits us on Top of the cheeks not underneath! Been bronzing since the 80’s!

I have one of their putty blushes and I'm so in love with it that I had to pick one of these up! Of course I got it before I looked for reviews so now I'm just trying to decide if I'm going to regret this decision 😂

I was thinking of getting both because I’ve been looking for a good cool toned contour shade so I think that’ll work great! So I think I’ll get both anyways! Hahaha I panic bought the first 2 shades of the bronzer also! I wasn’t sure which one would be good on my fair complexion but it looks like these are trying to dupe the Fenty cream bronzers cause they are the same way the first lightest one is a contour and the second lightest shade is the lightest bronzer. You need to pick up the putty blushes they are just as good as the bronzers and I think you would love them also!

The more grey one would be an amazing contour. I think the realize many people use bronzer more like a contour so by giving us both in one

They just went on sale where in am today I ordered two of the taupish one. I'm exited for it. I use fentys in the amber shade. I'm way too white for bronzer. It pulls so orange on me even when I buy a neutral one. I'm hoping this is similar to fentys because its way too expensive

Thank you! And I used the elf stipple brush! I don’t think they make it anymore sadly but their putty primer applicator brush is super good for creams and it’s available still 😊
Would you say that these are similar to the Fenty cream bronzer in longevity? Or better? Already have the Fenty cream bronzer and Huda Tantour and need to figure out if these are worth the “splurge” and hassle with parcel forwarding services or if I just should stick to what I already have 🙈😅
Ahh I def think they’re more emollient than the Fenty! I don’t have the Tantour but it’s on my wishlist for sure 😍 personally, I’d skip them! I really enjoyed them, but if it’s not easy for you to purchase the Elf ones, like it was for me, I’d say stick to Fenty and Huda for now! Maybe get the Elf if you finish one of these up 😊

I just discovered that you can order from the EU website and get them delivered through a parcel forwarding service. Gonna do it and get them sent to Denmark once they drop in Europe on the 28th ☺️
