I know you dont like the fabric wheel liners but they are actually an upgrade. They are very nice for sound deadening (keeping the noise from rocks and debris at a low level). I think the look of them is high end as well . Hopefully they grow on you... Anyways your truck is awesome.
Great video man, so many funny parts! Just highlighted the ones I can totally relate to! 5:47 UUUUAAAAHHHHHHH Dont worry captain, we can buff out those scratches later 🧽 10:26 story of my life 14:06 so fricken sick dude 15:05 Hear you there and OH DUDE NO!!!!!!!!! 16:35 Life lesson there everyone..... Always a bright side 19:51 just livin
Sorry I kind of jumbled the buckstop footage, there is a tour in the first video of me explaining the build concept. There will also be a lot more of their shop when I do my build! Thanks for the feedback!
Great episode brother! I’m not a fan of dragonflies or grasshoppers 😂😂 they always want to try and land on me which results in me using threatening language then 🔫🔫 if all else fails 😂😂 that being said that rc truck was sweet!! That Old Ford with camper just looked great! That ram at buckstop looked amazing… liquid springs are priiiiicey but I’ve heard lots of good stuff about them. Man, I’m just as excited for this build as you are. I did cry a little at the branches scraping against the paint 😑. I’m shooting for the next 3-4 years before I’m able to hit the road myself… trucks already paid off. I’ve been looking at travel trailers though for my truck. It doesn’t have the pay.oad for a true slide in camper that’s not a cap or an alucab type of setup which is fine for over landing but not to full time out of… at least not for me. Be safe brother and looking forward to the next episode 👊🏾
I'm with you on the bugs, haha! And so stoked about the Buckstop stuff. They do make Rams look good! I cringed a bit too with the scraping but also fun to use it Hahaa Thanks for watching!
The ford's electronic transfer case is bulletproof. My 2014 F-150 has 280,000 miles without a single problem. I live in Minnesota so it gets used a lot in the winter in and out of 4x4 everytime it snows
Since we got the new base camp RV, I’ve been looking at at 550s and even some 450s for a similar build; I think with my budget though I’d probably end up starting with a box truck.
I would leave the duals if it where me. I drive my truck into some bad areas for work at least 4 or 5 times I have gotten a flat and was able to get to a place to get the tire fixed. Once I got a flat on the front and used 1 of the rears to get out.
I bought a new flatbed camper in composite construction fully equipped 19ft, with 100 options turn key new with warranty for $32000, designed based on a cabover cab chassis.
@ yep you certainly won’t regret it. After living fulltime in a cab over camper vs several years in several different kind of toppers, it’s nice not having to set up and break down the bed space every time you set up camp!
Kool. I was looking into getting one. I have to choose from Cummings Ram 5500 or 7.3 F600, both 4x4. Heard mix feelings about it. Thanks for the quick response. Have fun.
lol you’re such a truck noob. Those fabric wheel liners are legit! It’s cost more to have that because it counts as upgraded option from the plastic wheel liners. The fabric is sound damper.
😂 you act like I haven’t thought every day for 6 years about the pros and cons of how big/small of camper I have. I’ve lived in tiny boxes, I’m over it! I don’t need to wheel my house for years and years
for the first 10 minutes... I was thinking "He's baked!"
Then you drop the Pad Thai🤣
Yo bro can’t wait to see your new build on your new truck 🛻 bye the way your new truck looks sic
I have been in contact with Drew about building a flatbed camper. Drew is a great guy, spending the time talking to me......
That is so awesome to hear man! Drew is really passionate about what he does!
Congrats on the new rig! Looking forward to the F550 build!

Anyways your truck is awesome.
Dang! Well shoot I kinda love them now haha the truck is super quiet in the cab and now I can thank these wheel liners. Thanks for the info man!
Love your ford rock crawler camper is nice touch thx sharing
Thank you I can’t wait to share more of the build!!
Awesome truck congrats. really looking forward to your build
Thank you! You and me both!😂
Congrats on the new truck
Thank you !!
You got it right for the suspensions 🎉 awesome journey
Yes! Thank you!
The fabric wheel linears reduce road noise.
Another comment was explaining that, and now I love them!! 😂 lol thanks for the heads up

Cringed and closed my eyes.
18:17 My Dad used to say, "hunger is the best seasoning"
was hoping for more of a tour of Buckstop. maybe when you get there and there working on your rig. thanks enjoyed

Outstanding

Heck ya that is good to know!! Thanks for sharing!
Enjoyed, Phil, coates
Hope you put a cab pass through that’s only way I’d build it
Yes, we are!!

That is awesome! Box trucks are such a cool way to go! Have you seen my friend Mark @wanderbox? He builds amazing box trucks!
Hello Phil Hello Cory 🚒🐕
Hello!!
Safe travels mob it
Awesome!
Drain that oil and put in Amsoil Signature Blend
When you get some weight in the back 2 wheel will be better
"but that was so easy" It's a trap!

My super singles were $485 each. 20x12.5x 37, with a $400 tire, 12 ply 4000lb capacity - try to come close to that
My wheels and tires are more than double that.. each 😂
Are you going to do a flatbed or straight chassis mount?
We are doing a zero torsion subframe! More on that to come!!
I bought a new flatbed camper in composite construction fully equipped 19ft, with 100 options turn key new with warranty for $32000, designed based on a cabover cab chassis.
That's awesome! Sounds like You got a good deal on that setup.
Liquid Springs are amazing if you don’t mind paying the extra $10,000-$20,000 for them😬or if you have a sponsor👍
Remember I told you about turning radius
Ya it’s always something I think about with owning long wheelbase vehicles. This is the longest so I figured it would be the worst!
Which one is good liquid spring or carli E venture system 5:22
Nice paint causes anxiety.
Hahaa not for me! This is what it was built for!
What’s the Stats? 7.3 rpms at 70mph with 4.88 and mileage?
Dude, that stratching sound is like nails on a chaulkbord for me. Not a fan of my Central Oregon pinstriping....😊
Great video is there a reason you didn’t buy a diesel?
Your friend was right: "It's too good for you".
lol okay I’m out here using it
You ment "blue ball" right?
Ferd Ma Haul.
Put the Fuso box on the back of black?
Hahaa it could handle it!
Phil, are you going to have bison make a cab over or just a box type camper like the jeep?
It will be a cabover! I’m excited for that extra space!
@ yep you certainly won’t regret it. After living fulltime in a cab over camper vs several years in several different kind of toppers, it’s nice not having to set up and break down the bed space every time you set up camp!
How long are you anticipating your build taking? I know it may be too early to tell because you haven’t really started yet.
0:02 yeah that’s an easy $35k-45k. RUclips must definitely be treating you right.
Sponsors pay for most of it😂
@ could be.
Have you made your first payment yet?
A few!
That dodge truck needs some muffler pipe wrap I don’t like how close is to the plastic gas tank the single wheel lift is epic
Is this truck diesel or gas?
Gas, 7.3L Mobzilla baby!!
Kool. I was looking into getting one. I have to choose from Cummings Ram 5500 or 7.3 F600, both 4x4. Heard mix feelings about it. Thanks for the quick response. Have fun.
Bro you are NOT down to mob in that shiny new truck 🤭🥹😆🤘🏼
lol you’re such a truck noob. Those fabric wheel liners are legit! It’s cost more to have that because it counts as upgraded option from the plastic wheel liners. The fabric is sound damper.
Looks like you’re carrying a coffin on the back of your truck.
😂
With all your off road adventures have you ever seen any Bigfoots or Sasquatch?? We would love to hear about it.
Guys I gave up halfway through this video… did he actually get anything done?
No, not at all I'v seen all your Rigs.
Wate till you have a box on the back and have to turn around on a tight trail. You're going to wish you had your jeep back.
😂 you act like I haven’t thought every day for 6 years about the pros and cons of how big/small of camper I have. I’ve lived in tiny boxes, I’m over it! I don’t need to wheel my house for years and years
With all the money this guy spends on vehicles and traveling, he could have had the nicest house.
Maybe, just maybe, he doesn't want a house.
How do you know how much money I spend?
Check another channel 😂😂 for this type of comment. You don't even appreciate what you are watching
He is never home, so home follows him 😂 Great job 🎉❤
@@SamanthaHAgastin awe thank you! I appreciate that you appreciate it! Haha
