this house is an absolute time capsule of grandma’s cottage. It reminds me of my own grandmas home in Campbell Ohio where I always found solace love a great meal and grandma the pillar of my life. Thanks for sharing this wonderful video.
This video is beautiful. I love all of the decorations. I hope that you had a wonderful Christmas. Wishing you all the best in 2024. God bless you, and thank you for sharing.
Thank you for sharing this absolutely adorable Christmas Eve video. I enjoyed everything about it. Would love to make my home look as warm and inviting as this one at Christmas time.
Thank you! The chest belonged to a sweet lady from our church who lived to be 99. Her grandson was going to sell it, and I bought it with the promise that he can have it again someday if he wants it again. That snowman always makes me smile.🤍
The rocker with the grapevine wreath in it, to the left of the Christmas tree...I have the exact same one!! Mine has survived through dog chewings and baby climbings for almost fifty years! Where/when did you get yours?
WoW, I got this one at Auntie Bling's Antiques in Washington. My Windsor rocker is mysteriously missing since I moved one year ago. I had an unfortunate experience with my mover because they said they didn't have a phone number to reach me. I had to live with no furniture for 6 months, and found this rocker at a price I could afford. It's a bit low to the floor, so I was wondering how old it might be. Most people were shorter back then. That is amazing that we have the same chair, thank you for your comment and question.🤍
@@WhistleRobinCottage Thank you for your reply. It was so weird watching your video and then seeing "my" rocker! It's the first one I've ever seen exactly like it. My husband (now deceased) gave me mine the first Christmas we were married so I'm not sure exactly where he got it, but somewhere in south Texas. I noticed too, when I first got it that it's a bit lower to the floor than other rockers. Not sure why. Makes me wonder now how many and where all they were made and distributed. I enjoyed your video! Your home looks so comfy and homey. Happy New Year!
I miss the America we knew and loved. It feels good to escape to better days using these decorations and recipes from my memories. I try to balance my life in the modern world, but it's not easy; I miss the simpler days.
