Took new FEC this last weekend to a local RTT to 3-0 with Morgaunt. Yall got some hot takes though! Will be back for more content. :)

Can't stack rend on-top of hoarfrost. It's the one thing that kind of keeps it in check. If you modify your rend to -3 it's just -3. Hoarfrost says you can't modify the characteristic any further, just the dice rolls.
Morgaunt results in deeds without needing to engage. Keeps your heroes safer. Oppressive recursion when paired with Marrowscroll Herald general with cruel taskmaster. Hollow is great but Morgaunts consistent deeds is low risk and works with well rounded lists and not knight spam.
Cool video! I think the tactic to take an objective with serf, knight and courtier is pretty good? Not free but better than many generic tactics, a good option and one you can plan to do without sacrificing too much for it.
Amen to all the little rants about unnessecary dice rolls in the game. There is the old world now, so AoS can be the modern world with good and lean game design.

Brutes I agree, it should be 2 profiles. But you're talking about the monsta-killaz? They have 1 profile. The spikey shell you might as well never roll it. But all the models aside from the clutcha grot have the same weapon. Same with stab-ladz. 3 models have 1, the chain guy has his own. It's not that bad.
The struggle to not sound salty reading out these rules is real.

Played 5 games with FEC, vs Orruk Warclans (lots of Gore Gruntas), Cities of Sigmar (horse list), Cities of Sigmar (shooty list), Dauthers of Khaine (Morathi + Gotrek), Stormcast Eternals (Chariots + Crossbow Judicators). Got tabled in almost all games in bottom of turn 2. For me this is a mid army at best. If you have rend -2 you destroy whole units, if you have 3+ save you are immortal. All my opponents called it a pillowfisted army with paper armor.

Play more defensively and max out your list ideas pls.
So many people get tabled in this game and blame their army, the opponent's army or the dice.
paper armor is accurate, but pillowfisted is certainly not how I would describe them. A block of horrors on the charge has well over 100 potential damage. Even getting a few hits through at 3/4 damage can be brutal. I've taken out OBR with the new book. Save stacking is a problem, but with enough dice and the recursion, you can outlast them. Target priority is key.
Played against NH today, another loss. 9 horrors did 0 dmg to Nagash. Ushoran did nothing. Flayer courtier never killed anything at range, and I cast 0 spells... I cant wait when horfrost will go away and Ill have no rend at all.

Yeah, I usually make at least one mistake per video. All part of the learning for myself!
